    hey brother.. do you know on this FT730V engine if you can set the WOT throttle rpms with the turn of a screw or if you gotta do with kawasaki software since it is EFI fuel injected? Mine is running at 3,000rpm wot and the engine specs say it should be 3,600rpms any help? thanks..

    1500 hrs and never been done. That’s impressive! Great job! You are very meticulous in your work, in scraping the old gasket off, getting all the old oil out of the valve cover etc. It’s nice to see the care that goes into your jobs.

    I have four 33 hp. EFI Yamahas with 2500 hrs. each, never done valve adjustment and they still run cock strong, best engines I have ever ran and we have ran all of them. Two 2018 Husqvarna Z560X and Two Z572X, best mowers we have ever ran.

      I run the Kawasaki in the z554x. It’s been a great machine for me, productive and reliable. I wondered how the Yamahas were, that’s a lot of hours and they are still doing strong. Rest of the machine holding up well?

    It did sound a little better for sure. Is that fuel pump replacement routine after so many hours?

    • @RaleysSmallEngines
      @RaleysSmallEngines  3 года назад +1

      It was a huge difference in person, the camera just didn't pick up the sound very good. I generally don't replace them unless there is an issue. Keep in mind the repairs made was an educated guess from the info. the customer gave me. This customer has a good working knowledge of his equipment and does a lot of his own maintenance and repairs. I will know next week if my guess was correct, if not I will be replacing the electric fuel pump. Thank you so much have a wonderful day.

    i see the canister filter in the background, if you upgrade the airfilter to a canister filter, should you replace the jets as well? have you seen any issues with it running too rich or lean?
