The great thing about this song in the "family dynamic" part of the movie is that Bruno is the "truth teller" of the family. If you notice he never causes the prophecies, he just tells people what's going to happen. Everyone then blames him as if in telling the truth makes the truth manifest. But later even when he's rejected by the family he's the one who stays and works behind the scenes to fix the cracks. This movie is deep y'all.

I read the character’s name was originally Oscar but changed to Bruno because it fit this song better.
If you listen during the part where everyone is singing, you can hear both Deloris and Isabella singing “I’m fine, I’m fine, I’m fine”, because Isabella feels like she’s being forced to marry someone she doesn’t love because it’s “for the family”, and Deloris is singing because the man that she loves is the one Isabella is marrying.
Nooooo, betrothed doesnt mean married it means engaged to BE married.

I would like to suggest that you react to pretty much anything by Colm McGuinness, if you haven't already. Particularly his Witcher covers, but everything he makes is incredible.
