I've been watching your videos since 2013 and you've upped my game so much. The APA and BCA players I play with still can't believe the amount of banks/kicks I hit! I've turned them onto your videos so hopefully, I have some competition ;). Thanks, Tor!!!!
I have watched this lesson a couple of times and then practiced for 3-4 hours. My ability to make the ball was greatly improved. I’m confident that with more practice I will continue to improve. Thanks for the lesson.
Tor, those light illustrations are great. Every other teacher or pro explains how to count and play the ball but seeing the actual path is so much easier to understand! Thanks
If only it wasn't so expensive and lack portability. It would be great if a local hall got it and rented it out for additional table time expense. I think it would be profitable and in demand.
I’ve watched many so called pool “experts” videos this is the best by far it’s an excellent presentation easy precise and clear and anyone can understand it thank you
I’ve been following your instructionals and even bought a few from your website for many years. I appreciate all you’ve done for me in helping me improve my game. Thank you.
simply the best instructor working today. works in laymans terms in simple and easy to understand manner. sharivari is a newcomer whos similar, dr dave is overly mathematical although brilliant, but tor lowry is the best of them all.
Tor, at the 6:28 mark you parallel your cue from the 50 to 54 point (gain of 4) and on opposite side you go from the 25 to 27 point (gain of 2). That is NOT a parallel as your graphic would lead one to believe. You widened the angle of your cue and failed to mention that.
Diamond-brand tables all bank short. The easy fix is not to aim through the rail diamond as on all other tables, but at the point on the cushion's face, where the ball contacts the cushion directly in front of the diamond. This moves the cue ball to the left just enough to make the shot with center follow. There's no guessing.
I've found the diamonds work better on a Diamond table. The Brunswicks at the hall take about 1/2 to 1 tip running English to get them to bank as they should med slow to medium speed, geometrically. They won't bank long, shooting correct diamond geometry center ball no matter how slow you hit them. When I've played on Diamond tables I've noticed they bank much more 'true'. It may also be that the hall tables are all 30+ years old, and don't get much maintenance beyond fixing broken pockets and re clothing a couple of times a year. They are using good cloth, though, 860.
One of the most crucial things to be able to do is visualize what's going to happen with the balls before one takes the shot. This video using ICA shows it loud and clear! Great system Tor, and as always, thanks for uploading!
From my experience, No matter whether the CB is left or right of the banking line, the OB path doesn’t change. With cutting any ball, you may have to adjust for squirt or swerve, but the aiming line for the OB still, does not change.
The object ball line of aim is the same regardless of cue ball position. If the cue ball and object ball are aligned the path for the object ball is still always on that path and must be sent there regardless of where the cue ball is. Assuming of course you want the object ball to go into a particular pocket
Fantastic learning aI’d, and. Ive been trying to Find Part II though and no luck. Was wondering what one does when the cue ball path is off the table. Say along the short side and you want to make a ball in the far pocket?
@Tor Lowry: Question for you: If your cue ball was on the 40-20 path to kick at a ball sitting in the corner pocket.... instead of the 20 path what number would you kick to, if your object ball was on the end rail, at 1-1/2 diamonds from the corner pocket? Thanks, man
Should be 15 on the side rail with no sidespin. If your table plays short then you'll have to make the adjustment. You also have to make a slight adjustment based on how far away the cue ball is from the side rail (as explained in the Diamond Systems video). If the cue ball is close to the side pocket then it should be 15.
The biggest issue i keep running into is the bank shot not going at an angle but instead going straight off the rail. I'll aim the bank to hit the 20 but instead of going towards the pocket it goes straight across to the 20 spot on the other rail. I'm playing on a Brunswick table. Center to center high English.
At 11:15 in the video, you say that the 8 ball is on the 30 15 path. Maybe I'm missing something as I'm just now seeing this method, but if I draw a straight line from the 8 ball to the end rail, that is not hitting the third diamond... more like 25. Can anyone help explain if he just misspoke or if I'm thinking wrong? Thanks!
Great job...but... It seems to me like teaching to play a guitar without showing the cords to push. You didnt showed what part of the cue ball is hit by the stick. To me is part of the angle the ball will follow.
That was disgustingly good . i am amazed how easy you made all that and yet i still cannot determine the path ,,,, what ball to use as a path . if you turn the butt of the cue any direction it drastically altars the path . tory i know you made reference and i keep seeing how you do it but when i picture that in my head it draws a blank . since pool balls are round it seems any angle you put the butt of the cue on the cueball that becomes the path ,. and it would still be the exact back of the cueball .
@Tor Lowry: sorry about my last question...I meant to say on the (end ) rail, but I just realized when I read it again, I didn't say it....so it looked like I asked you the same thing I already asked you. Sorry again, man...hope you can answer me.
at least there is no ridiculous point to mark on the walls hahaha but still if you need to calculate thta much to do a simple bank maybe its time to find a less difficult hobby like Rubik Cube or Chess

Thanks! ICA Training does a great job with their system.
Terrible instructions

wow this is so helpful for someone like me as a beginner getting to understand the logics on the table
You are the best teacher on the internet. Thank you so much for your help and generosity.
This is excellent. I've been practicing. I noticed speed is everything on these. If possible I slow down on "short" tables.

Love your video. Your teaching of banking is 100% correct.👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
Amazing video! The best and the most simple I've seen on bank shots

I always needed help with banking, thanks for the video, really helps!
This has really helped my banking. Awesome.

I really liked this once ya figure out how it works , the path being half!! Awesome thank you

this is incredible advice honestly and such a simple explination
Why haven't you cane out with a part two of this video. It has been way to long. I really miss your new videos. Thanks tor
This is a real masterclass ❤
That ICA system is awesome but definitely not cheap!
When does part 2 come out? Particularly curious about banking when the cue ball is to the left or right of the line of travel.
I have a few more videos that will be released first before the second part comes out.

@@ZeroXBilliards Was Part 2 released? I have the numbers system down just need this second part to send it home. Thanks for the excellent content!!!!
So when checking the table should it be checked from both ends?

Incredible. I wish my banking skills were 1/4 as good as yours.
Where can I get this system?
Awesome video! I'm excited to try it!

Tor, where can I find part 2?
Great illustration.

Bonjour ! Cours tres tres interessant ! Malheureusement dommage qu'il n'y est pas de sous titrage en francais 👍👍
Even I don't speak inglés your explanation is very nice!
What happens when you are on a diamond table that banks 1/4 to 1/2 diamond short? Can you calibrate the ICA Training system to the rails?
if you want it to run true. imagine the diamonds half a ball from the chusin.
often there's a wear line in the cloth there.
Does this work only on the table size u have, does this work on smaller tables?
I can completely understand your numbers system.
However, I just visualize the ball coming off the rail at the same angle. Easy enough to see.
Thanks for the vids very educational
thank you for explaining
The best. Great presentation!
As usual great job
Great video 👍 learned a lot
Where is part 2?? I am really excited..
If a table is playing short, doesn't that mean the rail is installed incorrectly? What else could it be?
Nicely done!
Brilliant video.
Wow.... thanks!!
This was really awesome.
thanks, good system to work on.
Tor how much sidespin do we use when banking these shots? Sometimes when I bank they come up short, even when I shoot slow speed!
Cant shoot slow speed. It probably should be medium to fast to keep momentum.
How high are your lights over the table?
Amazing video, thanks a lot 😊

It's just the angle we see it from.
Thank you so much for this.
Excellent video my brother
Do you always get ball in hand
Is there similar software for the projection pro system?
Is there a part 2?
WOW great information!
the reason it comes up short with wider distance or impact speed is that the rail compression reduces deflect angle period no other reason
Does anyone have the link handy for Part 2?? Thank you!!
Very helpful video!
Thanks! In a nut shell!
Is that a 9" table plz?
Hi,yes, a Diamond 9 footer
2:25...looks to me that you missed short because of not being on the 40 20 line but a little in front of it...
THANK YOU!!!!!!
Who is selling that ica system
amazing!
Awesome product and hope we can have such sold here in South Africa 🇿🇦, I will love to own one... 👌👌👌

Ironically, diamonds system is completely off on every Diamonds table that I've tried, which is pretty shit for such highly praised inventory.
Maybe it's your stroke that's off
Can someone send me a link for the part 2 of this video
If it has one
Thanks ^_^
Thanks for the video. This was very helpful. What causes a table to shoot short?

Nice very useful

what is the diamond system for two rail shots, pl
