The first few moves are maybe a bit trivial. Until one has to find the actual(!) key move, right from the starting position , that beautifully refreshes the main theme of the study. (Rh5++!!)
From the beginning position I only saw the first move, and didn't see the follow up. But as I was sure, that the Rc5 is the right move, I decided to wait for black's answer appear on the board, and maybe I will see from there the winning combination. And from that position, in the second pause the video moment I was able to discover the winning combination, either with the checkmate, either with the skewer. 🙂
This one was a beauty. I deduced that a rook sacrifice was the way to go, but, alas, I was unable to work out the winning combinations from there. One of these days I'm going to get it right.
It's probably the first thing hes going to say "That is not right..." but, I would "Skewer" the queen with rook to C5, so when he takes it... POW! Pawn to G4 which would be checkmate. This would probably only work against a beginner though.
White has a good response to that = Be3+, which not only blocks the check and protects the rook but it is also a discovered check. Black's only escape is Pg5, which allows Rg5+x. After the forced Kh6, Rg3+ is threatening. Black should still win, but the original fork was no real threat.
From the beginning position I also only saw Rc5, and didn't see the follow up, as g4+, Bxg5 and Rxg5+ seemed to fail. But as I was sure, that the Rc5 is the right move, I decided to wait for black's answer appear on the board, and maybe I will see from there the winning combination. And from that position, in the second pause the video moment I was able to discover the winning combination with Rxg5+ and Rh5++, either with the checkmate, either with the skewer.
That finish was evil 😂

Excellent winning combination and variation, thank you very much and God bless you.

I consider that successfully solving the puzzle, because you did force the win. Black's answer (promoting) was obvious so it wasn't much help anyway.
What a beautiful puzzle. I solved it but that double-check sham sacrifice is gorgeous because both options for black were killers.

I like this one a lot and it feels like a real game.
I saw it, I have been lucky, a comment with the move appeared without even opening comments but I already saw it.
Rc5, QXR, g4 check mate
I like that one ! Thanks.

Actually that IS right, which is why black will not capture at Qc5x. Puzzles assume black would not make that blunder.
Very interesting to me. You are a very good chess player. 😀
(@1:23) Black has Qa3+ instead, forking the rook and king.

I think that I slowly becomes better solving these puzzles; or,... perhaps I am just lucky...
Saw that one pretty quickly
It's Rc5 - saw it instantly...
OMG, så jäkla snyggt! ❤
Rook c5, if queen captures its checkmate with pawn g4.
Rc5
Rook c5 then mate by pawn
I only saw Rc5, but couldn't find thr follow-up, your puzzles are always harder

👍👍
I´ve found all moves myself very quick. The moves are very clear. Nice little tactic. Very easy.
