Cool perspective from someone who is new to DH bikes!

Thanks, it's a very uncommon review but I love your point of view.
Being myself a beginner at DH and using my Spectral with a bit of anxiety. I have been indecisive at spending for a DH bike since I'll end up with 2 expensive bikes.
Your opinion tells me I should go for it, if confidence/safety can be gained so easily.
    Cheers!

i just want to start by saying that this was a very helpful video. Thank you! My main question is regarding the wheels. I know in the video you said they were on the weaker side and tend to dent easily. How have the wheels held up since this video? Or did you upgrade them? Thanks.

The main issue I had were spoke nipples vibrating loose. This caused low spoke tension and gave me spaghetti like wheels. I made sure to check up on the wheels every run or so, tightening where needed. I rode the stock wheels for 1.5 days of bikepark last week and they help up fine without any loose nipples. Perhaps the factory uses too much lube or something? I don't know, but the wheels are fine now. Check my IG to see a horrible case that didn't destroy the wheel at all.

@@lovebrosracing2559 even my 2019 Scott genius 940 came with super weak factory wheels and I blew the rear rim on the 3rd week of ride on rock garden, so I upgraded to Dtswiss e532 and Dtswiss hubs 350, I’m running cuschcore on rear. and anaconda Barbieri up front. I managed to put 2 or 3 dents on the rear wheel but it took so much abuse and testing with lower are pressure too get them there. They were very expensive (to me)to build but worthy every penny!

How tall are you and how did you like th edit of the Large?
if you had a 920 and 910...do you think the 910 is worth the extra $1000 for the upgraded wheels and brakes?
    thanks!

Hi man, I’m new to coil shocks I usually use air, what spring would suit this bike if I weigh about 80kg

I don`t know much about DH or coil shocks but I assume a softer one would be better for you (don`t quote me on this though)

Being 6ft does it feel on the smaller side and do you wish you went for the XL

Size is ok, it could be a little longer to feel more like my enduro bike. Always a little strange swapping

In my country this bike costs 4700$ which is extremely cheap for a bike with 203mm travel
