I have always supported Labour but will never vote for them again i won't vote Conservative either but why vote to support two cheeks of the same butt.

@@happinesstan the way to get out of it is to realise that you can only make a difference by voting for real change. Labour and Tories are cheeks of the same backside which a majority can agree. Out of 70 million , there are other individuals who are more than capable of trusting to run our country . Labour and Tories work hand in hand and only takes turn screwing is around because they know that most will vote for either or and they think we are all stupid.

We need to stay away from Voting for those other Political Parties like The Lib-Dem's who will do just about anything too be in Power, while also we need to refrain from voting for Reform UK which is a Right-Wing Privately Run Business and NOT really a Member's Activist supported Political Party who's only interest appears to be in The Rich and Big Business.

My daughter had a similar experience outside her front door in Bexhill. She challenged Labour over Forde etc and just got similarly patronised by a middle aged mansplainer. They think us voters should never question. I call it the Hermann Goering school of diplomacy
Ridiculous...voters question me all the time on the doorstep, but if they clearly have no intention of voting Labour then my canvassing will be more productive talking to one of the 100 other people I've got to talk to that session...

They way you do that is by ANSWERING their questions.
The way canvassing used to be done is,they come to your door,tell you about the party,their manifesto and then ask the prospective voters for ANY questions that they may have.
Those questions allows the canvasser to provide explanations and clarifications where the voter may not be well informed or take it back as feedback to the party headquarters to present what the publics concerns are and help fomulate policies.
Today,they don't want the voter/public to have any questions and just do what they want.

I had a similar experiences on my own doorstep three times in the weeks preceeding a by election. Twice the canvasser wanted to take me to task over the current government and once over the conduct of our existing MP. At the very mention of Gaza and Labour Friends of Israel I was personally harangued on my own doorstep.
