Two years ago, nobody would have expected that TVC would have the best domestic version of a Vader. I fully support the idea of completing the circle for the OT Vader. As mentioned on Instagram, I’ve ordered three of him. If an Empire version comes out, I’m picking it up and placing them together. I’ll no longer need any other figure of him in the future. I’m still surprised they did an edit on the OG image: the chestbox is flipped.
I have 2 Vader's and 3 Leia's, along with an R2 to keep carded, but I'm very excited about getting this Vader in particular since Vader is the one figure I've always bought since POTF2, except for the VC one with the lightning since he wasn't in my neck of the woods! It looks like you have a little bit of everything when it comes to the Hasbro Star Wars toys in the background! Excellent new Darth Vader action figure! Also cool to see him lined up with a few more recent variations! Great review!
Great video mate - very impressed with the turnaround time in getting the video up and out as well! 😀👍. I imagine that Hasbro will definitely pump out a few more versions now they have the sculpt sorted and ready to go!

He looks great and I'm super excited to get him, but judging from your comparison pics, I think I still like the DSII Removable Helmet Vader more. That one is just such a brilliant figure and probably in my top 3 favourites of all time. But then every figure using this sculpt is great. My next wanted ones are: 1 - ESB Vader (Bespin Duel) - either on a cardback depicting the Carbon Freezing Chamber or one with him saying he is Luke's father. Or both, and give the second one battle damage and pair it with battle damaged all-new Bespin Luke (and a gantry playset). 2 - ROTS Vader, on the beautiful cardback by Johnny Moustache 3 - Infinities all-white Vader, which I think would be really striking using this sculpt.
Great review Jason!! Shame on Old Ben for taking that cheap shot at Vader before the bell 🤣🤘 Also the old VC 93's helmet is so dated now that it basically looks like a Mcquarrie concept, which is kinda neat.
But... what a figure! I usually hold back on watching others reviews until I've got them myself but this I fancied taking a look! 👀👌😉 Nice! Both loose and carded!
I have a mix from various places. You can get Star Cases from Amazon or Iain's Display Accessories. The Evoretro box style cases are from Amazon. Cheers
I guess my biggest disappointment is how the figure is packaged he kind of looks dorky on cardback, as much as Dark times isn't a great Vader he looks really good without soft goods flooping around. I kinda wish they'd put some more effort into the plastic bubbles to pose them at least a little, more neutral than squashed maybe? Maybe its just me, and i don't really collect on card anyway..
I am hoping that this will be the last darth Vader figure because we don’t not need lords of darth Vader and he is just the same darth Vader as the dark times vader
He's not much different to DT Vader, it's true. I am a big Vader fan, so happy to get all the slight variations. Everyone collects differently and it's all good.
Everyone is different we all collect different figures we want in our collection but in my opinion we don’t not need a lot of darth Vader figures because hasbro needs to to make different characters and or we really need more Jedi as well so hasbro is making the same characters that we all ready have but like I said hopefully this will be the last darth Vader figure and that’s it after that

Thanks buddy! I'm so glad Hasbro are updating all the Vaders with that VC241 sculpt. Good point about VC93 the proportions look so off now.

They must have sold out on Mighty Ape really quickly as I looked on Monday and nothing for the new wave.
They went up yesterday and sold out within hours. Hopefully they get more stock in. Cheers
