I will always admire Uthmans dedication to Allah and his pursuit of knowledge. However I completely agree with you. The way he debates most of the time is not to prove Islam to be true but to humiliate and belittle whoever he debates with. This is also very common with the Muslim speakers at Speakers Corner in the UK. There have been very few debates that I have watched where the Muslim(s) and non-Muslim(s) were actually engaged in a constructive and fruitful conversation.
this is not true, sometimes it gets argumentative but no way you think that most of the time it is like in the speakers corner rather than genuine dawah...
@@FidanHasanzadeStudent well watch their videos and see for yourself. I’ve seen many insults flying both ways. Islam forbids us to be disrespectful to others regardless of religion. I’m not sure if the video is still up, but look at the humiliation that this non-Muslim had tot take from a full panel of Muslims.
Assalamoalaikum Sheikh Faris, thank you for addressing this issue. I was not sure about him as he is sitting with people of biddah as well and there are certain aspects that doesn't sit right with Islam like going and punching people or being extremely aggressive towards other people. Also accepting kharijits and praising them. He also sat down with Pakistani Deobandi Scholar Mufti Tariq Masood who is not only a deviant but a loud deviant and spread false stories about Scholars of Saudi. Uthman was all praises for him. All these things threw me off.
Common salafi misconception: When the salaf were talking about not siting with ahlul bid'ah they were refering to bid'ah mukaffirah(which puts you out of the fold of Islam), not bid'ah mufassiqa which makes you a sinner.
@@nureldinkhalifa Not siting with someone because he holds a valid difference of opinion within Ahlus Sunnah is ridiculous. Sitting with the mu'tazillah isn't the same as siting with an Ash'ari, the Ash'ari is part of Ahlus Sunnah, the mu'tazili isn't.

Salam, I am learning the way of the Salaf. I agree with you on that part that we should not mix with the people of bid'áh. Because in my country, the dawah of the salaf has been mixed up with dawah of the khawarij and deoband because of popular speakers and their fancy way of speech. Many young "salafi" scholars started talking about politics openly. Your all allegation against Uthman ibn Farooq might be truth, but he is not from the khawarij nor he tries to promote them. Because I think previously in one of his videos he said some thing like this: the government is from the people, even the army who keeps the government in power is from the same people. That is why we should spread dawah from the root so that people will know the deen, and then the government will be from the people of the deen. He did not say with the same wording, but he clarified his stances on this. I might be wrong, but at least on this one, i would like to give benefit of the doubt to Uthman ibn Farooq on this topic particularly. May Allah reward you, and please share more knowledge with us so that we can learn more about the way of the salaf. We would like to know about the Hizbut tahrir and their aqeedah. They want our nation to go on a war against a kuffar neighbors. So, if you share some light on them it would be great.
@Faris Al Hammadi isn't it possible for you to contact him in private and advise him when you disagree with him? He isn't perfect, nor are you perfect either. Advise in private is better. Secondly, the way he debates sometimes stems from passion . Shamsi does this as well sometimes falling into the same "mistakes". It's because sometimes when you are out there with cringe Christians or some dishonest ones, it's very difficult to control your emotions or passion. When you advise, don't pretend as if you are a scholar giving fatwa to the person or dictating to him what he should do or not since both of you aren't scholars at all. So why not you talk to him first and listen from his side and then you bring evidence from Quran and Sunnah and listen if he agrees or not with daleel then try to contact a scholar together for advice and see who is right or wrong. It's easy when you show respect towards each other.
He did do that but he just kept saying he is busy and didn’t reply. He mentioned it in the video. He is doing this for the sake of deen. It’s very clear he doesn’t want to talk about him in public. Moreover warning about othman actions previously is needed because he is making clear cut mistakes as he mentioned. We really need people like sheikh faris because calamities are spreading.
