If someone had told me, before I watched 3 million of these videos, that Armie Hammer was a modest guy I would have thought that person was naive. But he really is. He constantly and graciously deflects praise and attention for himself. It's clear he believes that Timothee was the star of Call Me By Your Name. I think as beloved as this film is, as meteoric and stunning at Tmmy's rise is, Armie Hammer delivered a performance that no one else could have done. He performed that role with so much humanity and with a grace and paradoxical self-consciousness that must come from himself. It would be so wonderful to see him work with Luca Guadagnino again because I think the two of them had something very special.

I can't believe it's been a year already that Call Me By Your Name was the Sundance Film Festival's critical darling, and now here we are a year later for this year's festival starting today. It was just an amazing year watching all of the interviews and to see this film grow as it did. Here's hoping that the Oscars will cap it off with a lot of nominations.
I don't know why, but I think these two are secretly into each other :D It's kind of cute, the way Armie looks and hugs Timmy and vice versa. I know Armie is married, and his wife is sexy but could you imagen these two together... In some twisted world? :P I love them, btw.
