    Retired Police Officer here from a large midwestern city (guess) and we conducted hundreds of search warrants over the years. After the searches were finished one of the things that we did was to look for the Scarface reference, whether it was a poster, DVD, VHS or some other paraphernalia. The only thing I didn't know about was the actress who vanished 😢 Everything else, I was already aware of. I like how the writers showed that even though Tony was street smart and rich, he lacked culture and intelligence. Remember the hot tub scene? Tony was watching a nature show or something. All of a sudden he said "FLY PELICAN!!"... When actually it was a Flamingo 😆 His lack of culture also reared it's head at Sosa's house... He ate a lemon slice that was in a finger bowl... And everyone knows the lemon slices are in the bowl not for consumption... But to give the water a little fragrance when you clean your fingers off after eating 😊 Little details like that are what I loved about this movie. Fun fact: When Al Pacino screamed "F**K GASPAR GOMEZ AND F**K THE F**KING DIAZ BROTHERS!!! F**K 'EM ALL!!! I'LL BURY THOSE COCKROACHES!!!" when he was talking to Robert Loggia, Steven Bauer was genuinely startled. You can see him jump back when Al screamed the way he did 😊 Scarface is a fantastic movie that I could watch over and over and never grow tired of it 👍👍👍

      The centrifugal fuse for the 40 MM grenade (non-link) is measured in yards. U.S. Army training said 15 yards, but many Soldiers got direct explosions out of the M203 at 8 yards in Somalia against individual bad guys. The M203 has many rounds, HE (high explosive) and HEDP (high explosive dual purpose) are just two of many.
      In Vietnam guys would get Negligent Discharges from their M79’s and the grenade would go through the thin skin of the helicopters they flew in.
      The centrifugal fuse was a safety measure so that I wouldn’t explode too close and kill the grenadier who fired it.
      40 MM link ammo cannot be loaded into a M203 because the shell casing is wider. 40 MM link has a much greater propellant charge to it so that the grenades can go way out there, 3,200 feet sometimes. The Mk-19 (Mark nineteen) shoots 40 MM link ammo.

    • @rf6934
      @rf6934 Месяц назад +1

      @@assassinmanx6128 The official “military” size is 40 MM, and typically the police or various law enforcement uses 37 MM.
      Interestingly enough there are many non-lethal options for 37 MM that some police departments use i.e. rubber balls, bean bags, etc. for crowd control or whatever that are not available for 40 MM launchers.
      And gun collectors who want a cool accessory for their guns often buy 37 MM, or 37 MM inert launchers, just so their rifles and carbines look extra cool. No casual observer can distinguish 37 MM from 40 MM in person or in on-line social media posts.
      If I remember correctly the 40 MM launcher is not easily available on the U.S. civilian market, but don’t quote me.
      I only say “military” size because since the M-79 came out, the U.S. military has been using 40 MM non-link in those launchers.
      HK just came out with an amazing grenade launcher not too long ago, I forgot what it’s called but it’s an easy search. This new grenade launcher is also chambered for 40 MM non-link.
      The M-79 was affectionately referred to as a Thump Gun, or Thumper for the noise its made on impact. A cut down M-79 was called a Pirate Gun. Fun facts.

    • @assassinmanx6128
      @assassinmanx6128 Месяц назад

      @ For sure. Yea I was curious but what you mentioned made sense. Cause online they sale the 37mm launcher attachment or the launcher with a stock. They can hold tear gas, 37mm flares, and some other kind of rounds. I haven’t seen a 40mm for sale. But they do exist.
