First time I did this was from Glenbrook, that was a lot of climbing and I was new to MB riding from doing road for 40+ years. Was amazed how much climbing going both ways entailed. Did not realise there was a single trail. The climb out of the valley back to the car park near the entrance of the national park at Glenbrook after nearly 60Km was painful. Still some very nice climbs and scenery.
Cool video, I led a group of 5 recently from Woodford to Glenbrook, then back on the train (vid on my channel this week). We continued from the Oaks gate to Bennetts Ridge for lunch, then exited Euroka campground to Glenbrook. I'll have to try the single track exit next time!
love your vids, only just gotten into mtb riding at the young age of 50..lol I've purchased an e bike and am totally loving it. i have gained some inspiration from your vids as well so thank you for posting. keep up the great work and maybe some day we will meet up on the trails. regards Luigi
CHILLIBURN thanks for checking out the vids. And cool to see you make heaps of vids also! Yeah the ebike will get you around and having fun on the trails. See ya out there!
How does it end? Can you leave a car at the end of the single trail and go back up to the start of the fire trail to pick up the other car? When in a pair or groups with multiple cars.
Leave your car at Glenbrook then catch the train up to Woodford. Riding ball is mostly down hill, and cuts through. The last pedal up to Glenbrook can hurt a little. But it’s not the worst club in the world. It’s doable
My first real mountain bike ride 18 years ago and still loving the Oaks.
Nice! I think 2007 was my first ride of it. It’s a classic trail
Its a great MTB ride and I've done it about 3 or 4 times.
The hill climb out of the park at the end is nice.

Awesome story. Yeah it was one of my first epic mtb rides a hell of a long time ago. It’s a good one!

Awesome work worth getting a gang and hitting these trails. Yes! The single trails at the end are fun, and really not too tech, more fun then scary

@@PedalCrusaders thank-you! Keep the videos coming!
@@nalhcal27031984 thanks dood!
Would it be fine to walk this train instead of bike it?
What sort of MTB to buy to suit this trail ride pls.
Hardtail or dual suspension?
Am I able to clarify whether this is in the Oaks or the name of the trail is called the Oaks?
Where you start the trail is Woodford blue mountains. But the trail is called The Oaks Single trail. You can find it on trail forks
@@PedalCrusaders thank you
Are you able to do these trails on a hardtail bike or is it too rough for it? All I see is everyone on full suspension bikes.
Yep! I rode it on a hardtail a very long time ago. It’s not the nicest feeling. But totally doable.
@@PedalCrusaders Oh thats good to know. Will have to try out one day 😄
Can you legally take registered motorbike through here?
