Totally agree with your comments re Ebike climbing. I’m on the Central Coast and there are a myriad of fire trails I never even knew existed. Many have been improved post the fires and flooding events. Views are spectacular.
The views from there are stunning, although there's no term that's really adequate to describe them. A couple of suggestions for other rides. The trip out from Wentworth Falls to McMahon's Point is about 20 km of a fairly decent dirt road. Some of the views you get from there are the reverse of these, looking over Lake Burragorang from the east. You also get to see the southern face of Mt Solitary and south from there. On the way, stop at Battleship Tops for what is left of some magnificent painting by the First People. Sadly some louts stole a car, pushed it into the cave and set fire to it. The damage is irreparable but what is left is still worth seeing. Glad to say that the vandals got quite decent gaol sentences. The other suggestion is to take the road from Leura to Mt Hay. There's a walk of a couple of kms at the end of a road about the same quality as that to McMahon's Point. Instead of looking into the southern valleys, the view is into the Grose Valley and across towards the Bell Rd.
Mt Hay is spectacular. The rock formations at Butterbox Point are other-worldly. It's so peaceful out there - the only sound is the breeze. @@doubledee9675
Hey mate, great watch 🏆 I've been ebikepacking for three years on the east coast Australia and highly agree with your attitude and points of information. Keep on keeping on ☮️ E-bikes rock, as I'm 55 it's opened up a whole new life for me. With gratitude ☮️🦘🚴
Great Video Darryl, I did that ride many years ago on my Manpower MTB lol, I may have walked up a few of the hills on the way back :) But I was much younger then.

You're right about the peace. Once you turn off the negine, the only sound is the wind. @@l0ok5ko0l
One of my favorite walks - have walked out to clear hill from the gate many times but not since the fires - views are much better now!!
