I have what i have been told are 2 british cavalry trumpets, they both are tuned fairly differently, the second note of reveille coming out as a G on one and an Ab on the other
I didn’t realize that I had missed the mouthpiece. You can clean it exactly the way you clean the rest of the bugle. Trumpet cleaning kits will typically include a snake and mouthpiece brush.
I have a Crescent Cavalry bugle as my practice (I'm a beginner) can I put it in water as well, at the moment I am using the trumpet brush and I'm having a hard time brushing it through
Hello, I want to learn to play the bugles, I bought it very recently, it is a Boy Scout bugles, but it has a mouthpiece for a boy and I am already grown, which mouthpiece do you recommend to play this bugles, thanks for any advice
How do you clean a bugle without a slide?
He said thumbs down and there’s no dislikes 😂 Great video though!

Can you do a video on how to clean a bugle that has the mouthpiece attached to it? Is it safe for the mouthpiece to go in the water?

I would take it to a music store and find a trumpet mouthpiece that will fit. 5C or 3C equivalents are good choices. 7C will also work.
@@StevetheMusician Ok, thanks for answering my question, it helped me a lot thanks, thanks
And I’ve be been practicing while drinking coffee
What should i do if my bugle does not have a Slide
Just push the brush through each side of the bugle as far as it will reach.
@@StevetheMusicianI don’t have that brush and mine doesn’t have a slide
What is the price bugle,?
what brand of your bugle and the of the bell??
What?
what would i do if my bugle doesn't have a slide?
Then you don't need to tune it. If you are playing alone, it makes no real difference.
I thought I was replying to a different video...with regard to cleaning, just push the brush through as far as you can on each side.
my bugle has no valve
That was a fast half hour
