A)IT DOES WORK and everyone celebrating easier lobbies did actually play in easier games
B)IT WORKS BUT everyone queueing up for casual teammates now aren't casual
C)IT DOES NOTHING and it could very well be useless regardless of how you feel about the games you get
Regardless its worth applying and finding out for yourself. When making this video I assumed It would queue with Casual teammates who in return get queued against people of similar skill level allowing me to find fun chill games.

Tried it. First match was probably the sweatiest match of mw2 I've ever played. Most maxed out level, LA skins, you know the works. Second and third weren't so bad though

thats why i usually like but also dont like these types of videos but that being said if you have the comp filter on and the games are sometimes easy sometimes hard if you switch to casual it should be even easier compared to a sweat searching for casual

Find A Party isn’t even actively working yet, Activison confirmed you’re suppose to be able to find a party in the party finder menu but you’re unable to click the start search button. clicking Find A Match doesn’t have anything to do with the setting of Find A Party.
But let’s say, for argument sake, it works. Literally the only people who know about this setting are competitive players watching this video. Selecting “casual” doesn’t pair you with actual causal players, it only pairs you with players who selected “casual” - a real casual doesn’t know these settings.
I feel exactly how you feel about playing with IRL friends. I play the game a lot more and when they want to play they always end up rage quitting because my lobbies are way too sweaty. Like I enjoy sweating against really good players don’t get me wrong but not every single game
I feel you. My friends always have more fun playing solo than they do with me. They always talk about doing really well and having fun, then when I play with them it’s the complete opposite and ALOT of bitching.
I dont know exactly how the game works so I could be wrong but Im 99% sure this just adjusts your party finder filters to help you find squads closer to your prefrences. I dont believe this affects your in game matchmaking at all.
Seems to squad me up with no higher than 40 and the other team out of three goes we’re all over 100 that was worse than normal

i don't care if my K/D is less than 1 ( thanks jokr camo grind) Games are meant to let the brain relax and chill out. being "sweaty" for a game I understand that, I was a young adolescent once. For me my only sweaty activities involved in camo grinding that I'm having so much fun.

I didn't notice much of a difference. In fact I noticed a lot of "sweats" I the lobbies farming kills maybe or just whatever. I didn't find this improved game play from matching me with people I shouldn't be matched with, I found a lot of my own team bumping into me and standing in front of me was going on too. Not convinced.

I’m level 250 and my KD is like 1.2 lol so not all of us are sweats. I do be having some good days where I’m getting 40-50 kills per game, but that’s only when there’s a toxic sweat on the other team that I stop grinding to prove a point. Normally I’m just working on my camos and remember you get double XP tokens with the battle pass. Leveling up in this game is not hard at all. I’ve put 7 days into the game and I still don’t have platinum for all my weapons. I don’t get how some kids already reached the Orion camo.
This should be suggested for new players, or those who don't play much. Some of my friends will be happy to know about this feature. They're not competitive players, thanks for sharing. 👍

I only have a .9 kd and I’ve been playing cod since world at war, I’ve never really cared about my stats but the people im constantly playing against are super sweaty, jumping everywhere, pin point aim, spawn trapping, cdl skins, gold camo, dropping n bombs it’s honestly the most toxic thing ever. Not saying they should take sbmm away completely but they need to tone it way down and make a playlist with reward system for the people who actually want to sweat. Another good idea would be making a boot camp for new players to teach them how to play so they’re not abused by casual sweats.

Only way around sbmm is to limit its variables radically, whether it be kd/accuracy,server locations and ping.. turning crossplay off widens sbmm range bc less available players

Simple! Have your matches be connection based, you'll get into a lobby that you have the best possible connection to.
Back when there was no such thing as sbmm what used to really inspire me to get better was playing vs really good people and getting shit on as weird as it sounds, I think you're completely right in that if you're constantly up against people of your skill level you're going to fall into the same routines so if you ever were to play a higher skill match suddenly the things you thought were good suddenly is getting countered. Honestly I feel like for most people who play this you'll get a game or two of doing decent maybe a game where you're king but then the next few games you're vs people who now counter those same movements that got you your 24-8 kd last match because the game is constantly trying to balance your stats with people doing the same. I wonder what the game feels like for the bottomn 0.1% is it completely dead or do you have to just play that uphill battle?
Thing is not everyone is playing with the express goal of boosting their skill. Some of us literally want to just have the odd casual game to unwind after work. Don't really care to get better, just rather have a few matches in lobbies that match my existing skill
I imagine it would be a bunch of kids that are still learning controls for games. But there can’t be many of them so I have no clue, I’ve thought about that a lot haha
People who are in the bottom 10%-25% probably don't notice anything at all, I would find it very hard to believe that people who are that low think SBMM hurts them seeing as how everyone down there is below average, to put it nicely.
As someone who’s honestly not that good at this game, I still get matched up with ppl vastly beyond my skill level. And it seems the better I do in a game, the worse the next match is for me because I just get shot every time I step out of a building. Sometimes even losing gunfights in a matter of seconds which doesn’t make much sense to me at all really because I will have shot the other person the same amount of times. It’s not fun to play if I never really get the chance to get a kill.
If you get shat on early in almost every match you play you don't really improve or you simply might loose the will to play the game anymore.
Don’t ruin it for everyone else nobody cares about your fake “Nuke”. Play for fun and have a good time!

Pretty sure this only adjusts the type of teammates it finds for you, not the other teams. That's why it's under team finder
Correct. Finding those teammates also places you against the enemies they encounter.

@@Zackeryeet Except you DIDN'T "find those teammates". You have to press Start Search within Party Finder, then when (and if) the group fills the leader presses Start to queue.
You are simply backing out of Party Finder and pressing regular Start with Squad Fill on, which has absolutely nothing to with Party Finder settings.

I have had mine on cas since day 1, and i still only play against sweats. Barely have a 1kd mid to bottom frag every game and never seen these lobbies.

This doesn’t work in warzone btw, only in multiplayer.All this does it that if you click find party it gives you teammates with that play style. Someone did a video showing stats of the different players he fought and there was a 0.2 difference in k/d, and that differce was probably just different matches
this doesn't do much because it is only to find and join people with the same preference for playing, it wont change the people you will find unless your partying with someone who is bad.
Literally going to do this for the camo grind. It already forces you to play bad for the non gold camos as it is so at least I won’t be absolutely tanking my stats for the camos.

I'm gutted it annoys then so much (in fairness I totally get it as I wouldn't want to get my arse handed to me every game either) but their lobbies also allow me to have a bit of fun instead of feeling like every game is hard work. That being said...... sbmm makes me a much better player cos when you improve so does the opposition.
I sweat for knockout only but even then some games I just wanna chill. SBMM makes it hard because if I'm tired of sweating it out I'll still be put in lobbies with the same skill level lol. That said I notice myself logging out of COD more often now.
I have a .94 KD, first game in doing this, dropped 25 kills with most coming in 3 or 4 at a time, I normally am not able to do this! Thanks!!!
This is the lowest KD I've ever had in COD history 😂. Not only that I'm on the DAADz clan and for the last 3 years we've been a top 25 clan in the clan ranking system out of over 900,000 ranked clans. My win loss ratio in MWII is a .52 🤣😂🤣😂. Literally no wonder why they didn't put a clan ranking system in this game. It's because the sbmm is so thick they would have had clan Teletubby and Smurf farts along with 95,000 other .50 W/L clans fighting for the top spot. 🤣. This game is a joke 🤪

I’m going to check it out. I am one of “those people” you mentioned. I’m 41, work 60-70 hours a week, have kids, pets, a wife, etc. and don’t have 40 hours a week to devote to CoD. When I do play, I don’t want to be swarmed by level 250 players every game. I’m just now hitting level 70, so that tells you how much time I’ve devoted to CoD this year. Not everyone is a kid or a streamer with no obligations, unlimited free time and so on…

To play in a stress-free match and actually mess around with the attachments to make the most horrendous-looking build ever, has not been this fun in a long time. Then the next match happened...and I faced people who were fine to drop another $10 on top of the $75-100 copy of MW2 just to shit on me. I'm talking about the CDL wannabees, the people who would have no problem saying "Get better" to a paraplegic after winning a game of basketball.

cant believe this actually worked im making use of the free multiplayer trial to grind gold camos, and getting 3 kills without dying for the challenge was impossible unless i got lucky on shipment
as much as i want this to be real, that feature is asking what type of teammates you want to join you, casual competetive etc. it doesnt do anything to your lobbies it just finds u people to play with. this does literally nothing
its kinda sad to see all the comments and how many people are so blind to what he does here, he backs out of a matchmaking system and regularly queues, THAT DOES NOTHING to your matchmaking unless you select find party and then it finds you other casuals to pair with. Fairly certain he knows its bullshit too he probably reverse boosted to get the video and knew it would blow up cant blame him but I cant sit here and pretend to be ignorant to whats happening here.

Totally agree with what you said near the end of the video. When I first started playing cod online it was back on BO1 and I ran into some lads from Scotland that were way above my skill level. But they ended up inviting me to play with them and thought me so much about call of duty and how to play better etc. I didn’t play the full cycle of the game but I remember getting my best match ever still 95-4 on nuketown domination 😂 and some guy at the end of the game was like your the best player I ever seen 😂 but it felt so good knowing I came such a long way from being not able to move to using theatre mode to study how the good players in lobbies played to help me improve. Now cod is boring as hell, because I barely play now coz it’s just not as fun having to sweat for life just to have fun. I remember bo3 when I moved to play hardcore mostly on that game and checking leaderboards before the games to see who had near a 3kd as well as me so I’d try to outplay them and make them leave 😂😂 bo3 hardcore got to easy in the end I’d end up with 60 kinds a lot and in first to 100 tdms kinda left bad for my friends but ffa was fun as hell solo

Honestly this might just make it worse for you if you go sweating in these lobbies, your k/d will go up then upon going back to normal games because of skill based match making you will be matched with better players. I also totally agree I got better back in bo1 because I would get shitted on as well.

My KD is so bad cause I’ve only been focused on camos and half the time I have to be mounted or try to get longshots with a gun that it sucks balls for when I’m getting 1 hit by snipers lmao
I have less than a 0.9 kd ratio. I don't care. I play objectives very hard, so I die many times when I rush objectives. I could easily have over a 1 k/d but it would require me to slow down, not rush and camp more. That's not fun

The people on these lobbies are insane. I said it earlier...it's the Unofficial CDL Playlist already. Most people are maxed out in level, and play like there's a gun to their head. I didn't think it could be worse than default lobbies, but it absolutely is. Not Zack's fault, or anything... It's just that all the people who play this game like they're in FaZe are using this setting rn.

I read it has finding a party to play with. As soon as your 4 man squad is together it says 4/4 full. In multiplayer all you are doing is searching for a "casual" as a teammate. There's no easy button...that everyone has access to.
Love this, I will do this to rank up camos on guns that I’m inexperienced with, I wish they’d make a whole new playlist that people can only use guns level 1-10 in, a playlist for leveling weapons against others who aren’t playing with their main weapon either🙌
that’s called shipment
Apply these settings and go in shipment, you will get easier players as most maps are filled with dominantions and hard points plus even if you don't change your settings you can play with pros who are also trying to level up weapons. Shipment is best for leveling up and grinding
Yeah it doesn’t really change much, if anything there’s more sweaty people on “casual” then “competitive”. My buddy suggested this for me too and I haven’t noticed anything. I still go 20-9 in lobbies but I still notice the try hard and competitiveness in it

@@ThePartisan13 Are you slow? Bot Lobbies is a term for easy lobbies. Plus what he’s showing in the video does not effect your match making. It simply party’s you up in the main lobby with people using the same setting. Holy cow 🤦♂️😂

I'm happy to hear about this because I'm one of those guys who isn't all that great a player, and the one thing I hate about this and all online games of this type is that I can't make a move without getting killed by someone with a KD rate that's through the roof. This ruins it for me - always has, always will. I absolutely loathe those people who are super-good at this or any other game who come into a game and just wreak havoc with players who are less skilled than they are. I believe in skill-based lobbies for this reason - let the sweats fight each other and let those who are mediocre players like myself be able to play without getting killed every other two seconds.

But if it's set to Competitive by default, then that means all of the casual players are set to Competitive and all of the sweaty players who want to play against casuals are set to Casual. Equaling your "Casual" lobbies being all of the sweats looking to play against people worse than them?

I don’t know what SBMM I am at but had a guy drop 99 kills on shoot house. He had like 4 vtols, 3 or 4 chopper gunners. So after that match I stopped playing. I average 2 kd a game but yet I was placed in a lobby with bots on my team and a god player on the enemy.
People are getting around it by losing a bunch of matches to drop down. I play casually most cases, but when I sweat drops down they normally get pissed and leave. Due to not getting the east kills they want.

@@deazyxqw1k892 yeah I gave it a shot last night and personally didn’t notice a difference. At first I thought I did but I think it was just placebo effect lol. My KD has dropped down to a 1.00 and my score per minute is 300 while going for this master camo grind… it’s really frustrating playing with sweats while your trying to use bottom of the barrel guns lmao.
This only worked like twice, now all the crazy players with gold guns and crazy skins are dumping on the actual casual players.

Unfortunately and this is not something you can control of course it looks like due to the exposure of this option in the menus these 'casual' lobbies are now unbelievably sweaty.
I turned it on last night, went into a lobby and jeez have never seen so much sweat in one place. haha
Went back to competitive and ironically seemed more pleasant. lol
I truthfully think sbmm is pretty dumb, but if it must exist then they should let there be two modes, ranked and sbmm, with ranked being like old cod, so you que up with who you que up with and the good are good and the bad are bad and kd and leaderboard are tracked, and then you have sbmm for those who don’t care about kd and just wanna play the game, that way those casual guys are protected from sweats and those that actually want to improve can track their progress, thoughts?
Ya I have a slightly below 1kd, first game trying this I come across most lvl 200s spam jumping around corners with platinum ak74u's. What an absolute joke of a video. Edit: 2nd and 3rd game were exactly the same, if not worse.

This setting doesn't change a thing I played the game for about 2 hours with the casual setting on and it's still sweaty af changing the setting doesn't do a thing, it's just a placebo effect everyone to make you think it's easier I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it's the truth.

I personally don't try to do any of these exploits myself because I don't cry about getting killed by every single type of player that exists but I fully support it because some people cry about sbmm should just be removed well this is what every lobby will look like, imagine the actual pros just searching for a regular game of tdm and they come across a group of kids playing their first cod. It's not fun for the pros because there's literally no competition and it definitely isn't fun for the kids getting absolutely rolled. Sbmm is good and needs to stay
How about a level matchmaking system? In level 3 matching against players 200+ every game. Like do these people not have jobs/sleep/go outside?

That’s not how it works. It’s the pair up with people that either want to sweat, play obj, or casually, not find a lobby. Plus if it’s auto set to competitive, do you think less skilled players are going to know to switch it to casual anyway?
Yeahh.. tried this yesterday.. not worth it anymore, especially since this video is blowing up. Id rather have teammates that are at my skill than face 2-3 sweats on the other team, if this even actually works.
I work on mastery camos every cod, I have dm ultra and dark aether in cold war, dark matter in bo3 and 4, and I have every gun diamond in bo2, since bo2 doesn't have a mastery camo diamond it is, I never played mw 2019, but I got smgs and a few dmrs left for all guns platinum atm

The way I understood how the preference option worked was you would be paired with others set to casual. It wouldn’t change which lobby you get in? However, I’m wrong quite often and just assumed that’s how it worked
These are just party finder settings and have nothing to do with SBMM. Do you actually think Activision would let you adjust your SBMM in game for easier games lmfao. *Clickbait*
Ya i think everyone figured that out real quick. Couldnt get an evenly matched game in an hour. Just stay in regular lobbies
