Hi Josh,
the CRJ is as safe as a Boeing or Airbus plane. I havent had any major problems with the CRJ in my whole career. It is a reliable and pilot friendly aircraft. A beauty to fly. Although i have to mention that the CRJ is one of the noisy aircraft out there.

My fear is engine failure or a sudden hard turn that the pilot can't control. It kinda stinks because flying is quick to a destination.
