Everything you see here was before SAE took over. Once SAE bought out the school, it went down hill from there. My class was screwed over and many of us were taught by teachers who didn't know what they were talking about. Don't even take my word for it; go visit the school. It isn't as nice and colorful as it looks in the video; it looks like an office building. All the great teachers that used to be at this school are all gone.
I remember touring this building in 1997, before it open. I flew from DC just to check it out. sadly, in the end I could not go here. Broke my heart :(
2:00 the wall of historic signatures from all of the graduating alumni + famous guests... that the new owners SAE saw fit to tear down.
awesome video. So excited to be invited to the Equality International Film Festival there on Oct. 14-15 with our documentary about a unique creative writing class on a maximum security prison yard--STRAIGHT FROM THE PEN.
