  • In this video, we work on the 1977 Honda xl75. We respoke the rear rim, installed new tube and new used tire, install the pegs and some new parts. We cleaned up the wiring and got the bike already to go. Made a mistake on the chain size so we couldn't take it for a ride, but got the correct length of chain and a few other parts coming in to finish it up.     I need help with mine. how EXACTLY do you have you coil hooked up because I'm confused on mine. do you have the rotor going straight to the coil? I assume so. how do you have the ground hooked up? that's what I don't get. the main body of the coil is ground (I think) if so then having the coil bolted to the frame would mean it has constant ground and it would spark uncontrollably.
