Who am I?
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
I have a lot of dumb ideas. I tend to write them down and then revisit them from time to time. Sometimes, the world and/or my own understanding of it has moved enough to where it can now be taken to a new place. If you’d like to talk, I’d love to hear from you.
Enjoy!

88 seconds, liar! 😡
I am sorry!
quick notes:
-don't consume content
-ask questions even if it's stupid
-don't use phone before bed
-do many things but also reflect
-workout
-discipline is freeing
-impress yourself only, not others
-be skeptical and critical online
-unplug from social media once in a while
-be a creator > consumer
-be updated on world events
-read books
-cut down on fast food
-try to figure out why you feel the way you do
:D
the cool thing is that if you adhere to at least 3 or 4 of the other tenents in this list, you won't have to worry about the last one
Why not impress others? Not from selfishness but from respect

What the video REALLY wants you to do:
1. Stop indulging on contents. It only fuels your rage.
2. Don't be afraid to ask questions. It doesn't make you a fool. The majority of the people ain't better anyways.
3. Get the Bluelight screen away before bedtime. It only excites your brain into restlessness.
4. Less searching, more contemplating.
5. Work out. It's good for your health AND your mind.
6. You INEVITABLY need discipline to reach the biggest goals.
7. Avoid addiction at all cost.
8. Stop impressing others. Realize that nobody cares.
9. Have confidence in yourself.
10. You don't have to stay connected 24/7
11. Create more than consume.
12. Update your viewpoint towards the world
13. Opportunity and passion won't knock on the door, unless you act.

The main problem i'll always find with all this content is that sometimes. You're not "lazy" or distracted with social media. Sometimes you're simply just tired of life, you're tired of your entire life being surrounded by people unable to bring you any sort of comfort (parents), you're tired of how much your childhood has been ruined by bad parenting and a toxic life at school, you're tired that the few friends you had at school, high school, and as an adult, most ended up being liars and fakes, you're tired of your only social circle saying you're stupid for things they themselves also are victim of, you're tired of almost a decade of depression and feeling lonely. I don't know how many people will have more or less the same problem, but this is mine, sometimes you're tired of life and the only things giving you bits of hope are the workouts you manage to get almost daily. I wish all the fixes for life were "leave social media, read, workout, and eat healthy".
If life is that boring, just fight in some random war as a mercenary. Or throw your phone away and live a simple life in some South American village. I know that you won’t do either because you are normal, you are the average person and the average person is ok with their situation.

As someone who's turning 21 this year, I've no need for this. I'm already doing it
there is still time
I find this inspirational especially "be the consumer" the creation of their crafts is just like natural selection to see who will fits the roles of the creator
^_^
My story :
Depression from 17-20
Uni from 20-21 then dropped out due to depression striking back
21-23 studied a trade and got exploited at work , I was on the verge of depression again.
23-25 studied associate software developer degree.
25-26 everything went wrong again , after internship I couldn't find a job until recently
26 now Working full time software developer job , company exploiting me again but at least I can work from home.
Of course all of this while NEVER EVER drinking or partying , working out at gym and trying to learn new stuff.
I got an UAV operator license , I worked in 3 jobs at the same time during those years , I read a lot of books..
Conclussion : all of this advice will help you but won't fix nothing , luck is the most important stat , whatever you do , if you ain't in the right place on the right time you're fucked , and If you don't know people , well good luck.
increase the luck by increasing the exposure maybe?
Pretty much. The first roll is where in and to whomst you are born. Most people who get to be well off are just on some survivor bias nonsense.

It's okay to waste your teen years. You never know yourself the first try. But always make your 20s count
Another thing is to stop trying things like math and reading after you get out of school. You're not in school so obviously those skills are not needed(I got a 33% on a 8th grade math test but after doing 20 minutes of refreshing I got a 85%, all of the problems were related to stuff you *might* use like how much of x and y do you need to make z, how long is a trip if its 520 miles away and you're traveling in a 75, etc)
numbers in general are a big one, true!
please do not waste your 20s. believe i know what i am talking about. i was always very lonely in my 10s and i can for sure say that i wasted my 10s, which is such a shame of mine. please spend less time indoors, rather go out or text some old friend, suggest them going out, etc....))))
Daily practice
So, i shouldn't be an introvert?
@@yannlefrenchycat8642 most likely, but please take into account that being introverted and being shy are two different things. you can be shy and extroverted at the same time, as in my case. cause i really enjoy talking with people, even with strangers but i am also very nervus when trying to speak up to someone)))

hey good luck!
"Listen to what everybody tells you" is something I've been thinking a lot about recently. Because I do listen to what everybody tells me and I feel there is merit in a lot of different ideas. Listening to all ideas makes you open, but convoluted when thinking if you cant choose one. If I were to believe something wholeheartly, no grey area, it would be easier to process. Yet, nothing is certain. I guess the only thing I know for certain is I don't know anything for certain.
This Sounds a lot similar to the Train Spotting Intro! I love it!! 🙌

Reflect on the things you do
Try to workout
BE DISCIPLINED
Try not to get addicted to things (Insta, snapchat ect)
Don't try to impress others, because you don't need to
Don't try to always stay connected with everyone over social media, YOU'RE NOT GOING TO MISS OUT ON ANYTHING, even if you do, so what?
Try to update your world views ~ Be openminded
Don't wait for inspiration, take action NOW
Spend some time thinking about things yourself
Read books
Dont eat fastfood
Try to get enough sleep
Try to figure out why you feel the way you do
Try to fix things in your life

How I spent my 20's.
I worked 50 hours a week.
Saved for my 1st house
Went to school for physical therapy.
Bought my 1st house.
What I would have done differently----
Started a e-commerce company in my 20's because I made 2x my salary.
Worked 30-40 hours a week at my job.
Invested 25% of income.
Payed off 1st property at 10 years instead of 15 years.
Invested in stocks I felt strongly about.
I don't have regrets, because I have already done most of these things, but 10-20 years later. Use your 20's to build wealth, not waste time. Noone ever says, I wish I was drank more at the bar or nightclub in my 20's.
