The 9 girls treat each member as a family and they love each other so much. Their love for their fans (ONCE) is always been seen in their songs. Staffs from shows, award shows loved them for being so humble and professional at all times. Their discography is also massive, and you will be surprise on their BSIDES.
i swear i think it's because they came from very humble beginnings. they were in a survival show and they were all pretty much rivals. one can be eliminated at anytime. i think the stress of being in a survival show made them so close to each other and still humble to this day.

They also correct one of the member's birthdate that was wrong in the video in the description, so that's just a heads up :)

I'm saying this as a casual twice listener, you might not stan them but you can't stop find them really adictive. Like their music, their personalities, their music videos, their charisma, their visuals are adictive, I think that's the best definition for twice
Yeah. Twice is not necessarily the top girl group I stan (that is between Pixy and Dreamcatcher), but when push comes to shove they are my favorite girl group.
My 2nd bias and I agree. Her humor, prankster vibes, VOCALS, and visuals are just stunning and angelic. She truly deserves all the love she gets. Never anyone else like Jeongyeon. So unique in every way.
Glad to hear you two might be getting into Twice. I think one of the most interesting things with Twice is they've had a serious evolution in their sound from past to present. There are some hidden gems and iconic title tracks in their older stuff but in general, a lot of people have been impressed with their musicality in recent albums. I imagine you all will like the Feel Special, Formula of Love and Between 1&2 albums a lot if you check them out. Also, probably something to do on your free time but they have their own variety content called "Time To Twice" which is a great way to get to know their personalities. Highly recommend the New Years series, Yes or No, or Spring Picnic episodes if you go that route.
I honestly think that their more recent projects are just a bit more directed towards their western audience and their earlier project are kpop to the bone and bubblegum pop. I enjoy their early music as much as today's music, there are just a few early b-sides that are a bit to experimental for me.
This is how us Twice fans feel all the time. You just never get used to how good their music is or how beautiful and great and fun the members are. And yes, they do English songs very well. It seems clear that it’s very important for JYP to have them break in in the States and a lot of thought has been put into their English tracks. They don’t just sound like generic English songs that anyone could do, they are Twice songs written in English. I do think The Feels (their first English title track) is the best English Kpop track, it’s truly iconic.
Twice and Dreamcatcher are my ults! They made me reconsider what I thought the cute sound is like. They just slay everything they do. Once’s are fed so well!

There was a show called 'Sixteen' that was put together specifically to create a new girl group for JYP. 16 ladies participated and the group would be formed by the top seven contestants. Or, that was the plan to begin with. The show was very popular with the masses and with public input, the group wound up with 9 members when they debuted; two of the contestants were VERY popular before they were eliminated. Hearing the public outcry over their eliminations, JYP pulled a sneaky maneuver and brought the two back onboard. To figure out who the team leader would be, the members took a vote and unanimously voted one lady, Jihyo, as leader. She is their all-rounder, she can do it all. Singing, rapping (although we don't get that from her very much), dancing, writing, producing, arranging, etc. She had trained for more than ten years by the time the group debuted. She had definitely put the time in. She's not the oldest of the ladies, either. The members all consider her to be the best of them. Definitely one to keep an eye on. She even picked up the nickname 'God Jihyo'. Twice's 2015 debut song is called 'Like Ooh-Ahh' and is from their debut album called 'The Story Begins'.

Totally slayed this pre-release!! I'm Once since before debut , when they were being formed through "Sixteen". Their song and album catalogue is massive, their MVs are numerous, their YT shows are huge with their TTT (Time To Twice) series and the Seize The Light series, their own seperate Musical Melody/Dance Projects showcase each seperate member and they have appeared on an unimaginable number of TV shows. As well as their Korean releases, they have a completely different timetable of releases for Japan with different concepts. Plus they've now carried out 8 tours and have the most Korean music show female wins with 120 (2nd overall after BTS). Next up is the J-Line MiSaMo "Bouquet" release on Wednesday 25 January. ( from "Liaison Children's Heart Clinic" J-Drama OST) Then "Our Youth" 12th mini album in March.
twice is so diverse with their genre and types of sound but still brings their own color in every single songs they release. they’ve been active for almost 8 yrs already with no long breaks so you’re going to expect a lot like A LOT of contents from them

Chaeyoung is great. Her rap verses are unfortunately very short thats why you cant really know how good of a rapper she is but she writes her raps and songs and even tried composing and she CAN sing so good
3:44 - Jeongyeon (my 2nd bias) Her voice and looks are amazing and soooo beautiful. She truly is stunning. Her humor and energy are just hilarious and can make any ONCE smile (ONCE = fan name) 4:32 - Chaeyoung (my MAIN bias) One of the two rapping QUEENS in the group. She raps, sings, dances, writes and draws art. She has just one of the cutest faces and personality. 6:47 - Sana (my 3rd bias) Ohhh Sana. If there was a definition of cutest human alive she'd be one of them for sure. Initially when people first see her, they may think her charming and loving personality is for the camera and while that is true somewhat, her loving self is like this, as much as she can be, all the time. She truly tries her best to always put a smile on her members and ONCEs faces. And she is the definition of affectionate. (You'll see what we mean if you guys do a deep dive on TWICE)

I've been a Once (fan of Twice) since I discovered them in 2018. In fact, the EP they released that year (What is Love?) was the first physical K-pop album I bought. They're also one of the few K-pop groups I've seen live. I went to their show at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ during their 2019 North American tour.

Dude when I saw this- this morning I legit just blanked my jaw was to the ground and I don't know man, not having a Bias legit I was just looking at everyone and my brain was going a million miles an hour they KILLED this I know I say this a lot but I think that this was everyone's era (Y'ALL NEED TO CHECK OUT A GUIDE, you will LOVE them)! Like holy cow she deserves so much more love and that short hair WOW (and Kess girl what happened to your voice there), at 4:10 Tzuyu get off my screen she is so freaking STUNNING and that hair on her again I love it and her Vocals are so beautiful, at 4:33 CHAEYOUNG WOW JUST WOW legit one of my favorite Chae raps the way she went so low with it too just fantastic and at 5:18 the way she switched that up like this girl I swear, and at 6:45 the way Sana was just laying was just not okay and AGAIN the curly hair is lethal! The gold standard is Wyatt & Cody's Guide to TWICE. It is an old guide but still very well produced and provided a great genesis on the group. It also addresses the early critics that TWICE's concept is just cutesy, but that is just another valid form of expression. Look forward to more TWICE content from you guys!

I'm so glad you're finally getting to know TWICE! If you know their earliest songs but haven't listened to them in a few years You'll see that they've evolved their music quite a bit. They still have essentially the same "core", but they've been exploring everything that can be done within that "sphere" and they have So many different sounds by now. (especially when you include their japanese songs). For guides, "MinguinMina" has a guide that is Really comprehensive and deep, but it's also like an hour long. If you want a more compact guide that's still describing the members, "HoneyBear" did a video in that style. Those are my two recommendations. I honestly suggest you watch both, because they cover each other's "blind spots" in a way. Also, you know the "dodging disbandment" video about Dreamcatcher? well that channel Mera has done a video about Twice called "How TWICE Revitalized Girl Pop". It's really good and goes into what makes Twice so powerful as a group. Highly recommended.

Once of the writers and composers for this song was a twice concert and there was a part when the fandom starting chanting "Moonlight" (i believe its part of the fan chant for another song), she took that and created this song to express the bond Twice has with Once.

twice are the older sisters of stray kids, itzy, and nmixx, also as I said before they are the best group of the third generation in both Korea and Japan and there they are queens, their discographies both main and their b-sides are WORKS OF ART
Twice has a lot of great songs, I would listen to their B-sides as well (I say that as someone who almost never listens to b-side songs) Formula of Love, Feel Special, Eyes Wide Open and Fancy are all great album listens. Oh their Japanese title tracks are also equally as good as Korean ones.

Chaeyoung is great. Her rap verses are unfortunately very short thats why you cant really know how good of a rapper she is but she writes her raps and songs and even tried composing and she CAN sing so good

Ohhh Sana. If there was a definition of cutest human alive she'd be one of them for sure. Initially when people first see her, they may think her charming and loving personality is for the camera and while that is true somewhat, her loving self is like this, as much as she can be, all the time.
She truly tries her best to always put a smile on her members and ONCEs faces.

I've been a Once (fan of Twice) since I discovered them in 2018. In fact, the EP they released that year (What is Love?) was the first physical K-pop album I bought. They're also one of the few K-pop groups I've seen live. I went to their show at Prudential Center in Newark, NJ during their 2019 North American tour.

Dude when I saw this- this morning I legit just blanked my jaw was to the ground and I don't know man, not having a Bias legit I was just looking at everyone and my brain was going a million miles an hour they KILLED this I know I say this a lot but I think that this was everyone's era (Y'ALL NEED TO CHECK OUT A GUIDE, you will LOVE them)! At 1:34 RIGHT OFF THE BAT- Momo came in with VIOLENCE (she destroyed me during this and her Vocals/Rap was so good and is so addicting) same with Sana with the wink, at 2:08 JIHYO SETTLE DOWN the Rap kind of Vocals was just AMAZING and at 6:24 Jihyo on this bridge I swear this was just so GORGEOUS, at 2:15 DAHYUN SHOCKED ME WITH THE VOCALS (and kind of rap) who says that our Dubu can't sing this girl can do it all (they all can), at 2:45 Nayeon killed me there holy cow she is just BEAUTIFUL and her Vocals again just great, at 2:54 OKAY MINA WITH THIS CURLY HAIR IS JUST LETHAL that was not okay, at 3:44 JEONGYEON- I swear this girl came back and just said "I'm going to kill you all!" Like holy cow she deserves so much more love and that short hair WOW (and Kess girl what happened to your voice there), at 4:10 Tzuyu get off my screen she is so freaking STUNNING and that hair on her again I love it and her Vocals are so beautiful, at 4:33 CHAEYOUNG WOW JUST WOW legit one of my favorite Chae raps the way she went so low with it too just fantastic and at 5:18 the way she switched that up like this girl I swear, and at 6:45 the way Sana was just laying was just not okay and AGAIN the curly hair is lethal! Again this whole Music Video was just PHENOMENAL and they all killed it, I actually don't know which one I like more (The Feels and this one) they both are so good I think that they are both kind of equal to me- anyways I can't wait for you guys to react to more Twice such as more Music Videos, B - Sides, Live Performances, Covers, Dance Practices, Moments, and of course Ships! The gold standard is Wyatt & Cody's Guide to TWICE. It is an old guide but still very well produced and provided a great genesis on the group. It also addresses the early critics that TWICE's concept is just cutesy, but that is just another valid form of expression. Look forward to more TWICE content from you guys!

Twice is actually the best , They are a group that even on their 8th year, they maintain so humble and very kind. The 9 girls treat each member as a family and they love each other so much. For real im remebering them promoting themselves to dunkin donuts,schools and streets just to show some people they’re music but now look at them🥹🤧 they’re actually the best and yet they’re so humble❤

If you know their earliest songs but haven't listened to them in a few years You'll see that they've evolved their music quite a bit.
They still have essentially the same "core", but they've been exploring everything that can be done within that "sphere" and they have So many different sounds by now. (especially when you include their japanese songs).
For guides, "MinguinMina" has a guide that is Really comprehensive and deep, but it's also like an hour long. If you want a more compact guide that's still describing the members, "HoneyBear" did a video in that style.
Those are my two recommendations. I honestly suggest you watch both, because they cover each other's "blind spots" in a way.
Also, you know the "dodging disbandment" video about Dreamcatcher? well that channel Mera has done a video about Twice called "How TWICE Revitalized Girl Pop". It's really good and goes into what makes Twice so powerful as a group. Highly recommended.

Once of the writers and composers for this song was a twice concert and there was a part when the fandom starting chanting "Moonlight" (i believe its part of the fan chant for another song), she took that and created this song to express the bond Twice has with Once.

twice are the older sisters of stray kids, itzy, and nmixx, also as I said before they are the best group of the third generation in both Korea and Japan and there they are queens, their discographies both main and their b-sides are WORKS OF ART
Twice has a lot of great songs, I would listen to their B-sides as well (I say that as someone who almost never listens to b-side songs) Formula of Love, Feel Special, Eyes Wide Open and Fancy are all great album listens. Oh their Japanese title tracks are also equally as good as Korean ones.
