Lanny doesn't get enough credit, he was great as The Genius, stars from today would do well to go back and look at how he presented himself, wrestled and spoke. No matter how over the top his gimmick was, as most of the stars were back then, he made it believable. I wish I was lucky enough to meet him, he's a legend.

I saw Leaping Lanny wrestle when I was a kid around 1987. He used to throw frisbees with poems on them to the audience. He was an exciting performer to watch.
I'm just guessing on this one about Lanny. But I think Lanny looks great and is still here with us. Because Lanny didn't do steroids to look huge physically. And that was a blessing in the long run. Lanny would remind me of a Merlin type! Glad to know these two brothers Randy and Lanny cared and loved each other!
He did do steroids for a short period of time, for his run with Hulk Hogan he was doing them but had never done them before or since. When he seen that it'd made his balls become all shrivelled up and tiny he knew it was time to quit, then all the muscle he'd gained disappeared and he's never touched a steroid since.
This is literally one the greatest talkers in the history of professional wrestling and why he's not a manager for the half of these new superstars is something I don't understand.
Great point man! Put him on the mic & he was amazing every time. Had no problem playing the fool to make the match great & get the crowd going. Hulk barely had to do anything when working with him in the ring & those matches were awesome. Macho the GOAT to me but Lanny was just as incredible in other ways.
