""Boss" Tom Slayden has monopolized the freight business and has been intimidating anyone who opposes him. One of Slayden's men shoots Little Joe in the shoulder when he finds Joe hauling a wagon-load of supplies. Ben signs a warrant for Slayden's arrest. When Slayden is arrested, and he shuts down the freight business. Viriginia City's businesses quickly close, and a jury acquits Slayden to save the town's businesses. When i am watching Bonanza the time stops for me. I completely forget about my daily life. I am in Bonanza's amazing world.
When I'm watching Bonanza I forget about my troubles, it transports me to another dimension.

The episodes where Adams cool and collected way of thinking is needed....he is nowhere to be found.....ah he finally made it. Adam was an underrated character.

Bonanza is great. The episode the "BOSS" promotes women power as peace lovers. Also daughters love their father very much, can bring the best out of their Father!!!!!!!
Carroll O'Conner was a great actor he fit in any roll he worked in. He was a natural.

The best part was Adam riding up to help in the crisis.
Now, now, now what about the girl when she stood up in the rocks at the shoot-out??? But it is always good to see good help show up when you need it.
The best part is the show being about Little Joe!
Adam comes out for two seconds and you already think he's the best... you have more morale than the alcollano... the best without a doubt, no matter how much courage you have, are Joe, Ben and Hoss
Watching this episode Adam knew what was going on all along, When the wheels ain't turnin nobody's earnin And if a freight company thinks they own the roads that could spell real trouble!!!!!.

Judee Morton played the daughter. They should have given her credit at the opening and not the end. Her performance was the climax of the story.

A number of sources claim that it's 2 hours by horseback from the ranch house to Virginia City. 10:54 Ben has been in the saddle 6 hours in one day...he went to town, went home, and now back to town. This seems implausible especially since he'll have do another 2 hours to get back home

How come little Joe and Adam never tolded Ben that the bad guys went and got the doctor for little Joe till their was a trial and ps the neighbors shouldn't have even tried to make Ben chose between his sons it was bad a enough when they did it to Ben with out the neighbors interfering. And don't forget little Joe says hello to all of the 300 girls at the girls school. 🤣😄😅😆

I just watched a movie a couple of times back with the same sheriff, Denver Pyle. It was the one where they were holding Hoss in jal for murder and they were going to hang him. He told the sheriff if he would send a telegraph to his pa that it would prove who he was. However, the sheriff walked past the Telegraph office three or four times without sending a telegraph. I got so frustrated because the comments were turned off and I wanted my comments to be seen. So, thanks so much for being allowed to air my gripes. The, “Comments Turned Off” is one of my pet peeves. Totally useless. What I really wish that I had the nerve to do was just to not watch any movies with that,”Comments Turned Off” on it but I always want to see the movie.
I appreciate your views on "comments off". I believe we all have a fair say in a public forum and conversation. NOTE: When you see an advertisement that has comments turned off you can assume the company is hiding from shady business practices. For Example: MintMobile....I had to look onto GOOGLE to find the dissatisfied customers because even on Tiktok, they turn comments off.

Just got into this series after watching little house on the prairie. Big Michael landon fan, but now love this entire cartwright clan!!
I liked Michael in little house and highway to heaven but he gets on my nerves a lot of bonanza always fighting always gonna marry every girl he dates even after 1 date he like I am going to marry her after awhile that got so old and annoying

Most people recall Carroll O'Connor as "Archie Bunker" but he was a great actor in many roles, I liked him in in the heat of the night.
He was indeed. A very fine actor with real range when given the opportunity

Not much different then as in now, cowards who fend for themselves to appease their masters. Not many with the spine like a Cartwright who stand for truth. But at least they redeemed themselves, in the the show I mean.
