This version IS accurate. To his appearance in The Mandalorean, not a new hope. And he is the right scale.

The old release, although comically undersized, had better details and finish overall. Same goes for the new yellowish R2 they made. Unfortunately that's normal for Hasbro, giving something with one hand and taking back with another.
