The colors are always a big hit. The watercolor effect you achieved is great! I’m going to break down and order the over the sink strainer. You’ve sold me. You’re results are consistently amazing. Thanks for the links. I find them very helpful.
Thank you, Tricia! I love the purples. You’re going to love using the strainers. I have 4 and they are constantly going. I rinse them with the hose and then run them through the dishwasher. ❤️🌈
Razzle dazzle is such a beautiful magenta. It works so well with ice dyeing. You chose a very pretty color palette for this bag. It’s very aesthetically pleasing. The close up shots are beautiful. Thanks for sharing. ✌🏻
I actually really really like this, even though it’s not blue or a spiral. I think you achieved exactly what you set out to do. It’s a beautiful bag. Thanks for sharing! 🌀💗🌀
Ooo, I like this! I tried dyeing tote bags years ago, low water immersion. Color came out really uneven, but for hauling groceries, NBD. I may re-dye them now!
I love the colors on this! You keep things so interesting. Different projects and I want to try them all. Thanks for the link to the bag. That’s really helpful.
Beautiful Steph. I love the color combo. I’ve looked at these bags on Dharma’s website. I just haven’t pulled the trigger. I dye the big beach tote all the time. They turn out great. I like the fact that this bag has a zipper so it could be used as a book bag for school or a grocery bag, even a purse. I’m going to check it out. Thanks for sharing. 💜💜💜
I think i woild be very very happy 2..i tried my 1st ice dye..i think i used to much dye..then i forgot the soda ash n had to put it on top of the ice then it malted n ti much dye left so put on more soda ask n ice..can't wait to see it 2morrow..yours came out awrsome..thanks for sharing
I think it will be fine. If you soak your shirt in soda ash the sprinkle of soda ash isn’t 100% necessary. I do it for a just in case type thing. Adding it to the ice was completely fine. Doing a second layer of ice was what I would have done too. You’re going to love it. Let me know how it turns out. 😁❤️🌈
@@BelladonnaDyesCo the color is so much more vivid..i used to use tulip but thsy fades with a few washings. Then i wrnt to rit n it's a lot brighter n the colors stays if u use colorstay after dying..but the darhma dyes are awesome..can i redye shirts i dyed in tulip lol
This is so pretty! I really love your videos, Steph! I'm planning a tie-dye party with my friends, and I have a pair of bleached denim overall-shorts I want to colour. Since we're using Tulip 1-step dyes and don't have access to lots of ice where we're at for now, I was wondering if you had any ideas for how to dye something like that but with liquid dyes?
Do it just like you would if it was a T-shirt. Scrunch them up, secure with rubber bands and have fun squirting dye all over them. Have fun at your party!! ❤️🌈.
No, by the time it’s done batching the soda ash and and procion dye are spent. I personally wouldn’t do it. Anne, you could try and possibly get some interesting results, but I don’t recommend it or stand behind it. ❤️🌈
I really like this bag ❤I’m looking to go get one myself. Want to go with purple or all different colors. Also what is soda ash ? The same as baking soda or what?😮 Thanks

I tried a cotton canvas tote bag. total fail. Soaked in soda ash. 24 hours in 90+ heat. Lots of new emerald, green and strong navy under and over the ice, but it did not split, and it was dull and faded. 😕
