Saw the thumbnail immediately upon opening RUclips, and before I realized it was yours, the 5 year old in me was all, "Ooooh! Pretty!" (Click!) Beautiful work, as always!
Woah, I love her! I love how you "played" with guache and that large flat brush, those loose strokes are so difficult for me! It takes skills, and you have them. I honestly can't believe this is just a little side piece, like a color comp study you are trying after failing a painting, it came out so good!
Also, I love watching your sketching process. The fluidity of your movements are also beautiful to watch. Rarely a pause. Sometimes, you seem to be in some kind of muscle memory automatic writing mode lol. Very cool to watch.
Thanks Yana you sweetened my evening with the great video. 🥰💕 It's so fun to watch you experiment. I always love it when you draw with watercolors or guache. It looks beautiful 😍😘🌹
The minute I see your art I get art envy! AHHHH! Do a tutorial pleeeeeeease on anything from how you draw faces to your watercolor process because oh my grace I need help! Also quick question do Hagen and Sock get together because forgive me if I’m totally off but some of your art suggests that.
Here I am putting away my traditional mediums to work on digital art after the Barbie-core inspiration you gave me just the other day, and then you drop this. *Sighs and pulls my sketchbooks and paints back out*. Seriously this is beautiful, and I love the ghost-like, wispy, ambiance you captured! I feel if were walking through a forest and saw her face in the trees I'd be torn between feelings of being stupefied by her beauty, and horrified by her cadence lol. Lovely work!
@@paulwoodford1984are you confusing AI with Digital Art? Digital Art is real and is a practical work. Same fundamentals apply, except instead of understanding medium like gouache or oils you have to learn software and remember about things like printing or how the work will display on other screens. Like I understand if it's just not your thing and that's okay but saying it's "always going to be inferior" is not okay, and isn't even an objective opinion.
hey, no worries about the paul guy there, doing digital art & traditional art is a great thing. I think it's more liberating since you can go from one or the other, or even use both to complete something. Drawing fundamentals and techniques do apply in digital work, it's just that you have an art program and a tablet (some ppl use mouse to draw, which is commendable). I think traditional art is easier for me than digital, odd since digital tends to be easier for many others compared to traditional lol. You do your thing, digital art is great 🤠
@@Kokose Digital art has never and will never have the organic look and feel and texture of traditional. Traditional will always be superior because the human element always comes through. Gouache is a struggle! I just thought about giving my set another try the other day after I was humbled by it a couple months ago... Your work as always is truly inspiring, I love your Gloamingvale characters with my whole heart!
this is so stunning!!! i love how it turned out; i really want to get better at gouache & the techniques you used here to help lessen the "ugly stage" are definitely ones ill keep in mind!
I bought all 4 sets of the irodoru guache.(Full disclaimer this could be my fault since i add honey to my guache to prevent it from cracking and i might have added to much.) but in my palette ive found that the consistency and other properties of the colors vary by a noticeable margin but the colors are really pretty, my favorites are the winter and spring colors. But im still super happy with them.
I love this soo deeply, and noticed your brushes are really great. My brushes more often than not are the cause of my painting issues I noticed. They fray and there's stray hairs and they just overall suck. I noticed you listed your brushes as "synthetic brushes" can you please let me know the brand or the link to the brushes? 🙏🏻

Lol, looks like the cat wanted to contribute to the drawing. 😂 10:21

My favourite part of this is the way the hair and background turned out, I loved watching you wield that big flat brush!
This is sooo prettyyyy 🥹
oo this is SO different for you, i love it!! 🤩
I love your art style so much! Using watercolour and gouache in this flowy, messy kind of way is so fun ❤
Your sessions are what keep me devoted to art_
I think I enjoy these the most. :-)

I’ve been looking forward to seeing one of these types of paintings from you again, and it delivered.

digital art will always be inferior. It’s only ever going to be a print. There is never any real practical work. Embrace the physical once more
@@paulwoodford1984 I disagree, but I respect your opinion. I love both equally. always have and always will! :)
