there are a lot of these on my grandpa's rice fields when i was growing up in the early - mid 90s. i was always fascinated how that orange is in stark contrast to everything around it. i would stare them for a long time as a child all mesmerized.
What a beautiful species👌🏽just ordered mine yesterday🙏🏽
Awesome! Congratulations! 🤓👍🏼
Absolute gem of the hobby 😍 Getting a sling of these this coming week and a H.P Female so im getting 2 gems 🔥🔥
I love this species I can’t wait to get one for my collection!! Keep up the awesome videos and the pod cast with Richard was fucking fantastic I’ve been excited about it since Richard told me he was going to be doing a colab with you. Keep’em coming!! 🔥🔥🔥
Great video as always!
Thank you! Glad you enjoy. 😊
Great video Alex love the Halloween showcases! And congrats on the fast rising sub's and can't wait for the livestream 😀
Love this dudes videos. Wanted a good one for this specimen and low and behold it was his. Thank you for the info.
Beautiful T, love that velvet look.
In my opinion, the Philippine Orange is the most docile old world species. My Philippine Orange was so handleable amd never had a threat pose even once from birth to death. Researchers in PH have tried testing temperaments of this species and all they do is just run. Well a cornered tarantula will threat pose but if they are not cornered they will just move around. Even when catching it with the hands clasped it did not bite me. I hope this ts get more famous its so good. More power.
Damn the visuals on this video were so good!
Very cool mate 😄
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed. 🤓👍🏼
Just ordered mine today it will come today
Very cool Tarantula Alex - - Amaing colour - - Youre brave letting it loose for some photography - - But that's because you absolutely know what you're doing - - Great Show as always.
Keep well - and keep loving them Tarantulas
Thank you! It was difficult. I did more chasing than recording, but it all worked out in the end. 😄
Great video
Thank you Channy. 😊
great video
Thank you Rodolfo. 😊
Just subscribed, came over from Tarantula Collective. I think you are from my area, It looks like you go into the Commonwealth Ave FedEx in one of your episodes. Looking forward to watching more.
Hi from the Philippines 😍 that's one of our beautiful tarantulas
Hey. I have what I believe is a good idea. Me and many others have seen how we need more tarantulas in the hobby. So what if we started a breeders Guild. We contacted other tarantula RUclipsrs and breed them. We share the profit and then breed more. There is a way to get more tarantulas out there
so many good footage auto subs & like! great video new subscriber here ✌️
If you guys wish to have this kind of tarantula that is native in my island specifically in negros. Pls purchase them with someone who cultured them already. We don’t encourage people to just caught in the wild. We have them less in our island that is because of illegal catch! We tarantula keepers know how vital they are in the eco system. So pls take my word seriously
I see why you chose this one and yes it looks so velvety. I like how you add the geographical local and care information for us keep up the good work. I always look forward to your videos. Still at 3 but found a Arizona Blond at pet store that knows there tarantulas that I my get. Got my first 3 from them and they are very health and growing. GOD BLESS and have a great day from Oregon.
Thank you. Looks like you’re well on your way. Love the A. chalcodes. I don’t have one personally because most of the ones I’ve seen are wild caught. May get a sling some day but they take so long to grow. 🤓👍🏼
@@TarantulaHaven The Arizona Blonde is about 2 inches I think it is not wild caught at lest I hope not. Thanks for all the things I have learned from you.🕷🕷🕷🕷🕷
GOD BLESS
Guess I am weird, but I love the Tarantula's that are really fuzzy, pretty orange color, thanks for sharing!
I do too but the orange! I couldn’t pass them up when I found them. 😍
I love that species! Such a beautiful T with a great attitude and color! Great video, Alex.
Also, I was waiting for you to contact me regarding my prizes during the livestream but I guess you didn't do it because I live in another country :( I'll be looking forward to your next livestream tho to support you and enjoy your content as always
No Braulio, I was waiting for you to contact me. I had my email address on the bottom of the screen for you to contact me with your address so I could send you your prize. Email me @ tarantulahaven01@gmail.com and send me your address and I’ll send you your prize. 🤓👍🏼

oohh it’s from my country 🇵🇭👍
They are wicked fast frfr but so pretty and well worth the chase🤣. Dave from eeriearacnids may know their life expectancy Alex. Ik he's had a couple in his collection. Tyfs God bless you
I’ll have to ask him. Thanks 🤓👍🏼
@@TarantulaHaven no problem 👍
i actually caught a orphnaecus philippinus legally and i have been keeping it since 2019
nice video. hope you do more Philippine Tanrantulas on your next videos....MABUHAY
I may if I get more. May get Orphnaecus sp. Panay Blue eventually.
I don’t have a tangerine, but a quezon blue. Girl bolts every time she’s out of her burrow and feeding. I have to rehouse her soon and I’m not looking forward to it
Oh, yes, pretty cute face!
It’s a ploy to lure you in for a chomp! 😂
I'm from the Philippines and this is rare in our tarantula keeping community lol
Because it is wild caught and it should be put down those wild hunters!
@@lumiliyabnaapoy4283 facts, poachers are frowned upon.
Nakatakas akin hahaha
Since you live in florida what are current tarantula laws?? I've seen a lot of conflicting information online but do you personally have to have a license and get inspections?
Beautiful tarantula for sure, but speed and potent venom is a big negative for me. I'll stick with my Brachys for orange-ish Ts. Stay safe and thanks for sharing :)
Yeah. They prefer to run though. The one on the table never gave a threat posture. Just ran everywhere. The one in the enclosure gave a threat display because I touched it with a stick to test its temperament and she was in her burrow so she had no place to go.
Been seeing those being sold and other local sp as well but don't want them since it's illegal here to hunt them and sell them. But yeah they're gorgeous!
Wher is 'hear' buddey?
Here in Australia we I can only get our local species, ther just called pet holes..over here! I still love them though..
@@trueaussieray9093 Here in the Philippines. Orphnaecus and Selecosminaee are quite common...some illegally hunt them and sell them to beginners (which is a bad idea for beginners)...well, majority are killed since people are not seeing Ts as food like in other asian countries or pets. They're seen as a potential harm so it's killed without 2nd thoughts which is sad.
@@sevenscrawleeze1854 thanks for the reply, now that makes sence. that is sad, and thank you for your conservation efforts.
Here in Australia we only have a few species, the hobby trad is monitored from state to state, from the little information i have our wild populations are very sparse small colonies. Specimens wore first collected for the scientifically study but then bread to make their way into the pet hobby trade which is veary small here in Australia. Not to mention they're like owning a werewolf compared to a puppy dog.. being them old-world I don't think we have too much problems with poaching thank god. Cheers, keep up your efforts
Yes they are. I find it interesting that there seems to be a growing tarantula hobby in the Philippines despite the laws. I even saw an unboxing video where someone received slings in a lego toy kit. I suppose it’s not well enforced?
@@TarantulaHaven It's illegal here in the Philippines. You need to get a permit for each exotic pet you own, so you can imagine how expensive and time consuming that will be. Hobbyists seem to like the illegal situation since it makes the specimens being sold here very cheap. I heard the real reason that exotic animals are illegal here is because the government doesn't want any cross-breeding or invasive species. People just need to be careful when getting exotic pets so that doesn't happen I guess.
I have this species but sadly it’s not so vibrant like yours, at least not yet hehe.
It’ll get there. They’re bright when freshly molted and they get dull toward a molt.
🇵🇭
🤓👍🏼
Thats my province hahahahah
I didn't know tarantulas had nipples??
How else are they supposed to feed their young? 😂
Too bad its many of it is wild caught
All jokes aside, I don't think I'm up to philippinus...
Not that bad in the enclosure. It’s the rehousing that’s can get crazy. 🤓👍🏼
