- Final grading around our pond! Tractor Time with Tim and Dave work to fill low spots that held water over the winter around the pond. Tim uses the John Deere 3046R with pull type box blade equipped with laser controls. Dave uses Old Salty (John Deere 3520) to haul dirt where needed.

Kudos to Dave for having someone who speaks so well, kindly and complimentary of him. That is something that is nearly non-existent in today's world. Most people probably go through life without one good word being spoken of them.
Good morning Tim! HE IS RISEN! ALL THE GLORY IS THE LORDS!
Fun to see the pond project continue to progress and take shape. You, Christy and Dave make a great team! I always enjoy the quips, banter and profundities. Easter blessings to all!
It is great that you are getting Christie’s Estate all fixed up. Whatever you do will be fine as long as it meets Christie’s approval.
Great to see a pond update.
I worked on a pond that looked like this. A week after completion a heavy rain came and washed sand back in. The banks of the pond looked like glacier chunks falling into the water. We then had to add riprap. I then sowed grass and added a 4-foot wide green fabric around the top of the pond to stop the seed and sand from washing down the banks.
Glad to see a pond update! Looking great!!!!
Tim, I'm blaming you and Christy *personally* for costing our family roughly $22k... We just ordered our first 1025R, with a loader, bucket, pallet forks, and box blade. Deere couldn't have a better salesman than watching the years of success you've had with Johnny. :)
Congratulations!
Tim, it looks like the pond wintered very well. It looks fantastic. I look forward to more videos of you doing the finishing touches on the project. This series is very educational and entertaining thanks.
Got a low tire on the tractor Dave is driving. It is a interesting project. The Pond is looking great. I am impressed.
No Grandkids? When I re did my pond the main things was to put in the Island in the middle with a playhouse on it for the kids to play on and paddle out too... Most important part of our pond is the kids.. Water just draws them ... just like you and me.. water is a magnet
Enjoy the experiences you folks have. Keep up the great work. From the atheist farmer.
Can't wait till you start stocking critters in the pond. You may want to plant some trees around the pond to shade it, it'll keep your pond cooler.
Great video!
Pond is looking good
I really like your pond series thanks and can’t wait to see it’s finished out come and fish being added in 😊
I would buy that 1023E in a heartbeat on your auction!what a deal!😭 Shipping would kill me, I really need to move to the states.😆
Pound is looking good my son loved this video lots of tractor work
The pond and the grading is looking great!
Happy Easter everyone
He Is Risen!
Happy Easter, Tim and Christy. The pond is continuing to look better every video.
Happy Easter!!love the 3046R the pond really looks good can't wait to see it all done with the grass planted and keep the video's rolling 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks Tim!
Happy Easter! I cannot wait to see the finished pond.
Happy Easter!
He is Risen, Hallelujah!
Very cool, and informative!
Gm, Happy Resurrection Sunday to you sir! I always enjoy you on your tractor, especially with the grading process or tilling process! I absolutely love it, and also your commentary throughout!
Happy Resurrection Sunday to you!
I was wondering about Dave, cool thanks for the explanation. Happy Easter.
Hydro spray seeding is fast and reliable.
And expensive.
Happy Easter, tractor gang
He is risen!
He is risen INDEED!
Love to see some grass alternatives planted .... like short clover or meadow flowers ....
Fill idea ... I know you GET water from the road and 'the development' ... perhaps the construction industry has some ideas you can use in reverse ... it looks like you have a channel that captures water from the development ... what if you make a rip rap channel with rock filters to slow and catch silt. with one entry point to the pond. At a height to fill the pond when empty or drain when full. I like "gate city foundation drainage" channel for drainage ideas ... you have the leveling equipment ! :) :) best of luck
Looking good!! Keep doing what you're doing... 😮😅
Hallelujah ❤
You could race RC boats in the pond.
Hey, Sure it not a UFO parking spot or crop circle. 😂👽🙀
You’re up and adding videos on Easter Sunday? Come on Tim!😂😂😂
No, we can schedule them ahead of time. Scheduled it yesterday.
Now you can go back to your disk that did not plow the garden well . Do it before you seed grass
Amen. He is risen indeed. Happy Easter. I was thinking about your pond the other day and wondering how much water came in over the winter. Great project.
I live in Southern California where we don't have Ponds other than some back yard koi ponds what is the purpose of having a pond?
👍👍
What is that 'off road scooter' in the background, N of the pond.
I know you've done some videos on the leveling system before. But I would love to see one go into detail on how its actually controlling the tractor since I'm looking into one myself but have no idea on where to start to make sure I get everything I need.
Let me know if this one is not sufficient. If not, I may have to do this in written form with links.

@@TractorTimewithTim That does help a bit. Now the hard part is finding the equivalent for the summit hydraulics that work on my tractor (M4D-071). I don't have a power beyond type system on it but I do have some SCD rear remotes, if I was able to get something that plugged into there then it might work.
@@naturewrx7223do you have a ‘continuous flow’ setting on your scv’s? If you can run ‘continuous flow’ through one, then you can connect the summit kit to it.
@@TractorTimewithTim Yeah, the SCD remotes allow flow until they start to bypass. Just need to get the correct fittings and a mount put together then.
@@naturewrx7223 no, that isn’t quite what I said.
First, what is SCD?
Second, continuous flow is a setting on some SCV’s which allows them to run continuously without having to tie the lever down. Do you have that feature?
If not, you will need a power beyond.
Power beyond is not difficult.
Well, there is one major question. Do you have an open center or closed center system? Most
I just saw something on your land leveler, can you put a orfice inline to slow the flow down on the hydraulics? That way it doesn't matter what tractor you use it on.
Yes.
You made me a believer n the pull type box blade. Vastly better job of long pull grading than a 3pt hitch box
The auction is not up yet. Can you add the link in case I am at the wrong site.

Hi Tim. I know originally you were filling with a garden hose. And might even had some well trouble if I remember. You and Christy were betting on how long it would take to fill. What was the final count? What video shows the results? Happy Easter!
It took about 2 weeks to fill to current level (well, the rain added some to that as I mentioned). In other words, as usual, Christy was right. I was wrong :-)
Do you have a link for the headset and microphone you’re wearing on the tractor?
Stihl Advance Procom (or Sena TuffTalk M). The latter at our Amazon store: Amazon.com/tractortimewithtim
It looks like you down sized the size of your pond how much did you cut it down and how deep at the max depth are you putting fish in
Perhaps check out our series on the pond rehab.
@@TractorTimewithTim how deep is the old girl you could put a mermaid in charge admission and make a fortune just think of the endless possibilities or a.great fishing hole
How long until that field springs up hundreds (thousands?) of houses?
Held up based on water treatment disagreement. Hopefully stays held up forever :-)
where do I find a box blade like you have there
c5manufacturing.com (tell em ttwt sent you for a discount).
I take delivery of my tractor Thursday or Friday.
Congratulations! Fun awaits!
@@TractorTimewithTim I get it Friday but it’ll be a month before I get the trailer. Had to have it custom made to be able to tow it with my Volvo. It’s a Summit TX25H. Want me to bring it by sometime so you can get a look at it?
@@andrewkirch5920no. We will not be showing the Summit tractor on our channel. Sorry.
@@TractorTimewithTim ouch. Sounds like a story there.
@@andrewkirch5920oh, not really. This is the founder’s 4th try (at least) to start a tractor brand.
I don’t see any way that it can be successful. I think he is an arrogant jerk, and I will not participate. Perhaps ask Mike Morgan (Outdoors with the Morgan’s). He has more experience with this guy via RK than I do.
I know you 'raised the edges' to keep water from flowing in ... i guess i get it .. but isnt that a major water source ... (* it is for ours) are you going to fill it with well water hose .. that seems inefficient ... rain? , spring?
that is what i get for commenting mid view ...
Who knows if this is a wise approach…but hey, we’ll give it a try!
You know a mud hole is a mud hole no matter how steep it is. Why is it you always see them in the winter more?
I know you're not trying to do what this guy did but he built an entire channel from a pond idea and it was nothing short of genius. BamaBass is the channel and it is interesting. In his case it's about attracting more wildlife to the pond and tracking his bass. He has over a million subs and has to cash the checks from that headache, glad that isn't my problem! I like anyone who can take the resources available and make it successful.
Hey guys want to watch boats including top FLW and BASS pros leaving and return to Dayton Tn. on Lake Chickamauga??? Wanta make me rich??? I didn't think so that's why there isn't going to be a camera. They would come within 200' of the camera... still no. OK lol
BamaBass is incredible!
I think you simply gave the pond project the wrong name. Keeping watershed outside water out, creating a makeshift liner out of bentonite, and filling with a garden hose. All add up to another thing. The project should have been named " The Giant Backyard Inground Pool Project"!😅
Maybe so! Shoulda had you on the marketing team :-)
This Video was trash. Maybe you should think about investing in real construction equipment and get the job done.
Welcome to our channel. One giant trash heap!
