*_Switch 2_* is gonna be fucking great. HOPEFULLY Nintendo is working directly with NVIDIA to optimize DLSS for the console - possibly even a proprietary version, which would be fantastic
One thing I'm most curious of about the Switch 2 is the AI/DLSS implementation that had journalists marveling about it (When Nintendo was showing off the Matrix demo to journalists)
The CEO said that the Switch 2 will be backwards compatible with the switch 1 both physical and digital. They’re likely going to use better versions of the switch 1 game cards and slightly tweak it so you can’t put the new games into the old hardware (kind of like the 3ds cards)
Skyrim was the selling point for me. I'm at over 1,150 hours played in Skyrim, over 1,260 in Gems of War, and over 3,000 hours in Minecraft. All on the Gen 1 original release Nintendo Switch.
Guys, Muta is confused about whether or not CARTRIDGES will work with the Switch 2. Nintendo never specified if backward compatibility applied to digital copies, physical copies, or both.
I bought a switch and my friend bought a PS5 at the same time. I have gotten 10x more mileage out of it over the year. Simple can't beat it for party games and having mates over
My first console in 25 years was the Switch, the last console I had was a Nintendo Famicom. The first modern console that made sense to a PC only gamer.
I do feel like this does set a bad trend for the future. People complain all of the time about hardware or software released before it was ready. So if Nintendo isn't ready to reveal it, they are still working to make sure things are ready for a full launch. But they get punished by these leaks because of them taking their time. Based on some of the leaks, it's clear that in the future a ton of places won't be able to work with the company anymore. Also given the publicity, they will likely lose any partnership deals they have with other companies as well. Side note: Wouldn't it be funny if Nintendo released fake mock ups and hardware just to troll people looking for leaks. Mainly to hide what their full release would be?
Thats an awful take. Its a companies job to work on their own games as well as to market & promote them. They're supposed to get consumers excited for their next project, and if they dont show anything and remain tight-lipped forever, then most ppl will lose interest and not be excited anymore. They are a multi-billion dollar corporation and its their job to promote their own game, not our job. Thats why they get paid to do what they do. Learn how the world works before spewing nonsense on the internet kid.......
I mean the hybrid nature for the switch was worth the technical sacrifices. I don't need top of the line ray traced blow it out your ass graphics, I just need good games. The switch offers convenience and games that prioritize nothing but fun most of the time. I was hoping PS and Xbox would offer a similar system, but sure enough they didn't. The switch may be weak but the concept alone is a game changer.
Supposedly the NDA for these accessories ended in December so that’s why we’re seeing them all now out in the public. Nintendo probably planned to announce it last month & delayed it for some reason.
Supposedly this is fake information used to justify and validate the reason for these leaks and replicas being displayed! This is likely not the case as these companies would have likely brought this up as a reason for being able to show this stuff
i remember seeing people say that nintendo delayed the switch 2's reveal to milk more switch sales during christmas i don't know how valid that theory is but if it turns out to be true, but if it is, then all this is karma lol
9:02 This is STUPID. The Switch HAS A GYRO in it, you can already use it as a mouse! I do it on PC already! The switch always had the ability to get mouse precision, that's how Splatoon works!
My main hope for the switch 2 is that the games that are backwards compatible have boosted fps when applicable (I just really want 60fps Tears of the Kingdom on Native Hardware)
I watched a video from DF earlier today and they said PS4 Pro level performance was likely too high. They put it in the ballpark of the base versions of the PS4/XB1. I would prefer them to be wrong but they rarely are. That's still pretty good though, especially when you add DLSS.
@@Connie_TinuityError you just said a hasty generalization fallacy. You used one example where only *you* experienced controller drift on only Joy-cons and presented that as evidence of no other modern controllers having drift. I'm saying that all modern controllers are susceptible to drifting, which is true
yes the new system will work with your old games for the switch. The switch 2 was originally going to launch december of last year then got pushed back to march now it seems summer of 2025.
It's honestly a beast, considering it has the relative power of a Series S in a tablet format with physical media reader included and it would cost less than 400$ Like, the Switch 2 is very thin for what it packs in. Unlike those 1kg RGB "gamer" handheld PCs.
Really hope the specs are true and the switch is as capable as a ps4/ps4 pro. . Pretty safe to say 90% of people will agree games look absolutely fine on a ps4 pro running at 1080p or 1440p, so the system should age far more gracefully then the switch 1 has. Graphics and things aren't upgrading as substantially anymore, definitely not like they were between console generations back in the day. Sure the tech is still developing but its still very much a small market share for those who want top quality, 4k, 100+fps performance. If the switch is indeed as powerful as its rumored then that is a fantastic W for Nintendo, developers, and the customers. Games will look great on it, especially handheld with the smaller screen size and they should run good too. And it will even likely be able to smoothly render the more demanding titles of the future with the upscaling technology.. That's as long as developers don't continue to go down the unfolding trend of being lazy and relying on those technologies to much. It'll be interesting to see when they finally reveal it publicly. The price of the console could be what makes or breaks its early success. I don't have the utmost faith in Nintendo, as they always want to make a profit on their hardware as well as software.. But I think and hope they understand their customers more then they ever have now, and have heavily researched what everyone is willing to pay for their newest console. 🤞

*_Switch 2_* is gonna be fucking great. HOPEFULLY Nintendo is working directly with NVIDIA to optimize DLSS for the console - possibly even a proprietary version, which would be fantastic
10:20 …BC was already confirmed? They announced it back in early November on X/Twitter.
One thing I'm most curious of about the Switch 2 is the AI/DLSS implementation that had journalists marveling about it (When Nintendo was showing off the Matrix demo to journalists)
Nintendo already confirmed Switch 2 has backwards compatibility though. Idk why mutahar didn't aware of this lol.
Switch 2 has backwards compatibility, as confirmed by Nintendo back in November. It will also be revealed before April.
Yknow its bad when Muta is talking about it
Your blurry footage made me take my glasses off to wipe them off thinking it was me.... lol.
Guys, Muta is confused about whether or not CARTRIDGES will work with the Switch 2. Nintendo never specified if backward compatibility applied to digital copies, physical copies, or both.
you can clearly see the cartridge reader in the motherboard photos
The Switch don't use cartridges, that's what the NES, SNES and N64 used, the Switch uses what is called a cart or game card.

Prediction:
Nintendo:"You're great great great Grandchildren will love to play this console in their 70s"
Har having sunlight and a plant makes me smile
Lol
People just expected Nintendo to mess up again and miss another layup.
Nintendo have already confirmed backwards compatibility with the previous gen Switch on the Switch 2
Nintendo already confirmed backwards compatibility.
Backwards compatibility has already been confirmed since November
With what system
I would imagine Switch 1 games will play like they are overclocked on Switch 2 if they are backwards compatible.
Muta will you still pre order one with all these leaks
You have to and then it's not a guaranteed launch experience
You will buy it too
The DLSS is a good addition hope they don't pull an Nvidia price leak just to justify the price or something
I don't know I feel like there are a lot of leaks in a suspicious way
I do feel like this does set a bad trend for the future.
The Switch 2 should have a physical drive. They confirmed it was backwards compatible and I think Nintendo is too old school to ditch it completely.
Can't wait to play GTA 6 with full path tracing in 4K on Switch 2.
good luck actually being able to find the switch 2 in stores
Sadly rockstar probably won’t put gta 6 on switch 2 but maybe they would put gta 4
@Ice-0n-F1re Im already getting my bots ready to buy up the stock to scalp baby! pay my price or don't have one :)
I really do hope they announce at least something about the Switch 2. This is a very anticipating thing to hear as someone who grew up with nintendo
Nintendo has already confirmed backwards compatibility for Switch 1 games for the Switch 2
Guess I'll start saving up my Christmas money... Just hope the scalping situation's better this time around
Nintendo confirmed that they will announce the successor within 2025 fiscal year which means it's before April 1st.
Water Buffalo 🐃
Ah, the meme also reached over here.
"Bundle GTA 6 with the thing!" You want us have a heart attack? 😂
Who needs to spend millions on marketing, when all you have to do is stay silent and everyone won't stop talking about it.

To be fair:
I have never played a shooter with better controls than splatoon. Gyro feels so nice and precise for me :)
This is likely not the case as these companies would have likely brought this up as a reason for being able to show this stuff
i remember seeing people say that nintendo delayed the switch 2's reveal to milk more switch sales during christmas
i don't know how valid that theory is but if it turns out to be true, but if it is, then all this is karma lol
9:02 This is STUPID. The Switch HAS A GYRO in it, you can already use it as a mouse! I do it on PC already! The switch always had the ability to get mouse precision, that's how Splatoon works!
Gyro and a standard mouse aren’t even comparable 😂
For someone who works 24 hours, it’s super convenient to take my switch instead of a whole setup
and now imagine they release a stationary console
Why would they?
They could call it...the stationary, the opposite of switch.
I would buy it if it has better performance than the handheld variant
just buy a pc or ps4
@@Robbie-mw5uu you can’t play Pokémon on a ps4
My main hope for the switch 2 is that the games that are backwards compatible have boosted fps when applicable (I just really want 60fps Tears of the Kingdom on Native Hardware)
"If I could've bought Persona 3 Reload on my Nintendo Switch"
HES JUST LIKE ME FR
GIMME A SWITCH 2 PORT ATLUS WITH ALL THE DLC BUNDLED IN
typical Atlus fanboy buying Persona 3 multiple times
I watched a video from DF earlier today and they said PS4 Pro level performance was likely too high. They put it in the ballpark of the base versions of the PS4/XB1. I would prefer them to be wrong but they rarely are. That's still pretty good though, especially when you add DLSS.
the leaked hardware says the Switch 2 uses Cortex A78C SoC, which uses Mali 78 GPU (same GPU as Samsung S21 Ultra). 12GB ram, LPDDR5X. 128bit bus.
I swear to god if the new joycons have drift
Did u Get it right after realise?
They will. All modern controllers have it.
Not controllers with hall sensors like the Xbox pro .
@dannyboots Uhhhh no they don't. I've only ever experienced it on joycons, no other controller has the same issue.
