It’s nice to hear a book that’s musical and breathes a little.
I think people really want to build hype up for their ensembles/ favorite groups because I remember you wouldn’t see anything from certain groups until Dayton. Now I feel like I’m already seeing what a good chunk of groups are playing
lol I can see my high school’s truck in the background when the camera flashed to the pit! 😅
what’s a mac roll? 3:10
Also as a bass drummer yes, anything that changes your regular playing environment makes it much harder to split/listen/blend. Especially because it is hard to hear whats always going on as a bass drum (why we warm up in an arc). Thats why BC from 2017 was so impressive because before bass features were more limited in body, now the listening is always changing so they have to think that much faster. Like you said its early season, but I wouldn't be surprised if they water the body a bit to make it more readable for the judges. When you spin around like that, the sound is (obviously) so much different when they are facing forward vs regular facing, so it sometimes doesn't sound as good as it should. Just takes some more brain power in general.
Wait until you see it on the floor. Super aggressive and they are moving!!! Closers ballin!
The amount of coverage from this season already trumps the first 4 weeks of last season, wow.
Nooo the quad feature got watered :(
kanye song in 2024 is pretty wild ngl lmao
I sometimes think there is too much movement in some bass features. It's like some lines do it because they see it as a required element. Sure, it looks cool, and creates additional demand for the line, but it does not add much to the effect . . . for me. Maybe others dig it.
I do agree with you both on the tuning. I almost never say anything good about WGI tuning (especially basses), but this line is an exception. Funnily enough the indoor tunings I do like all come from Pearl lines. Hmmm....
I also appreciate Monarch's subdued approach.
For the algorithm. Also, you could put a screenshot of the viewers that are sued vs not subbed in your next video, seems to work for other creators
Hah yea we’ve thought about it. Maybe one day lol. Appreciate the suggestion though. Always open to em.
Was going to get work done but a new aged out reacts video is out.
POW?
For the algorithm. ✊

Yes, the bass movements make it harder to read.
