why she's always sings better live than in recording..its not like she's doing bad during recording, its already perfect..but she's always added more vocal powers and techniques in her live performance...plus, she's always dance with complicated choreography simultaneously singing live pitch perfect, i dont know, but i think she's an angel sent down to earth to make us people happy to see her performance.
I need to say few things about this performance 1st of all,its the opening number of her royal albert hall concert,and she did an a capella, just her and a standing mic,i mean u really need such great understanding of your vocal production right from the very beginning of the song,while also maintaining your calm and composure at the same time,it means the right amount of confidence and also humbleness to balance things out 2ndly,the key for this performance was actually lower and in a much slower tempo than the original, don't get me wrong,it was even harderrrr to do!!!pluss she gave new nuance to the original melody which she does fabulously with such ease and delicate controllll to die for,i mean just listen to her 1st sound for the phrase "kendati selautan segunung permata di kanan kiri...."early at the beginning of the song, brilliant airy head voice and then suddenly a drop of husky chest voice only to ascend into sudden head voice with the vibrato with a slight touch of cresendo and then landed firmly on rounded chest voice Such a delight

This is certainly siti at her best. Its not like she's not good nowadays, it'e just that everyone has their own prime time, and 2005/2006 was siti's prime days. I miss the old siti, but im happy that she has her own life and successful carrier today. Siti fan forever..

A dipper understanding of how was her performance inside the Royal Albert Hall, once must be there to really conjure her singing ability. I was there watching it live, seated a few meters away on her left. She’d separated her performances into 4 sections and changed costumes each time. Each session she belted about 10-12 songs non stop except pausing to engage with the audience and a few seconds later she was back singing. In all, she sang close to 50 songs that night. She started a capella song and her voice reciprocated, echoed crystal clear on each wall on the hall. Everyone was stunned! During her singing, she never drank water and yet she sang with a wetting voice, melodious as if she had a bucket of honey in her mouth. One of the best concerts I ever attended. Once we were out of the hall, everyone was truly praising her and it seemed no one wanted to leave the place as if we would be called back for the next show from Siti but all things must have an end. We must leave regardless. It was truly a magical night and Siti Nurhaliza was superb! And she had a sore throat that night but she delivered nonetheless.
Yes Nephi..i agree with you that Siti is very unic and no one could challenge her as no one singer in Malaysia now and maybe for several years in the future becoz she is super talented and gifted already..

Something like this version of Dialah di hati or maybe Anggun's Snow on the Sahara. Pop songs that has gamelan n seruling in it.
