A fine and proper job! Leaking chainplates have caused sailors more heartache than any other part on a boat. People who have done a lot of deck hardware bedding will recommend Butyl tape when reinstalling that chainplate to the deck. Butyl can last up to 30 years. No silicone garbage, you don't want to have to go through all this again!
He did. He got hit with a whore storm capsized his life he uploaded the results I'm refitting my mirage 27' this spring I have to do my bulk heads. Toilet Electrical Bottom coat Some Catalina smile work Show ya how to make a spare Ritter with foam and glass. Window replacement. Not all of it needs to be done but I'm doing Except the bulkhead on my starboard side. This is all a Reno for better nice boats. How to and diy. Also I'll show the construction of a working wind vane All the parts and it's a functional working wind vane that is deconstructed and made at home regularly costing about $5000. We will make it for less then $500 Going to be making a glass dodger Sail bag And solar set ups. Also wiring in 6x9 speakers that pound. Anyone who watches this in hopes to see how it ends. My videos will start in April. I can't find any videos on Mirage 27 so I'll make us all some!
Fine job! since the bulkhead is where the chain plates are bolted into, I am curious why the bulkhead wasn't glasses to the hull. I imagine you would have to remove all the interior trims to cut it out but I guess u got lucky there.
I did this on my 85 C-27, was intimidating until i started to do it then it was a cinch. Took me about 4 hours. Stop just looking at it and GET CRACKIN' 😏

Thank you! No silicone at all, took me a minute to realize there's alot better stuff to use in a boat that lives in the water 365.
Wish you showed what you did next...

Nice. Also, how did you make the windows frameless and screwless?

Mine had water coming in from the bow eye and running down the shelves. Rotten the bulkheads.
Where's the rest of the video. Or what happened. Where's the after.
You inspired me to make a part 2 today. It's a good story.
Let's see how you glass things in.
