Also, I didn’t realize it was you or else you would have been involuntarily involved in the water wars from the dinghy by my 6 year old so you couldn’t get mad :) ha!
Looked like everyone was having a great time! This was my first time out since I crewed on Saga. The shoulder situation has improved quite a bit, so I may be looking to crew before long.
Wow surprisingly fun watch, I hope to get a sailboat. Was that marina in corpus christi? Damn that was packed. Not sure Id like to see that many boats that tightly docked every day. Edit: ah that was cali, makes sense
To train to the worst case scenario I also prefer to operate with 20 lbs of extra belly and 6 beers in my system. Just so, you know I'll be ready when the time comes. Love to see my home town harbor on there.
Solid plan. The extra belly and beers in your system only prove you are ready to take on all situations at any time. This has been the foundation of my training for about 3 decades now.
By far the most accurate, realistic sailing video on RUclips. This is every sailing trip I've ever invited anyone on before.
LOL.. this trip was representative of every 4th of July I've sailed in Southern California.
keeldragger finally understand that bigger is not always better
LOL.. yeah, the best boat is the one you have (or a friends boat!), not the next size up!
@@keeldragger enjoy your videos
Glad you enjoy them!
😂love the impromptu MOB drill and the casual ribbing on the clean and tidy deck! Ha! Great to see a new vid!

Thanks for the video! I always enjoy seeing you plying the local waters. Fair winds, Captain!
Thanks, Brian. I still have aspirations to explore more of this planet, but I'll never get tired of sailing the local waters.
That marina was a sh*t show. I love it!
Always is at Dana Point for Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day. I was surprised there were relatively few boats outside the harbor.
Hey!!! Fellow sloppy sailor here from across the channel from you (island side, E-Dock). 😂
At Dana Point? I was there a few years ago when I had my Dana 24 sailboat.

Yes - Southern California. Plenty of boats in the marinas! ...far fewer at sea.
@@keeldragger thanks again! Very fun to see
Keeldragger lives to sail again.
Doing my best. Hopefully I can get the repower completed this summer so I can get back to some serious sailing.
@@keeldragger at least you put out some content. Works for me.

I'm retired, I don't go out on weekends or holidays.
It's a little harder to avoid the crowds when you are a weekend warrior. Dodging the crowds when you are retired is a solid plan!
Not sure if that was enjoyable 😉
always a good time hanging out with the crew of s/v jean grey!
