It will also bite a man later down the road when he gets cheated on, constantly disrespected, belittled, and overall miserable. Potentially a failed relationship. X tried to get me to part with my Motorcycle "it's dangerous." No woman is getting me to give up riding! A month later she overheard me saying I wished it was faster. She suggested selling it to get a faster bike. I sold it and started looking. She started B¡tch mode! She emptied the bank accounts (& got my $ from the bike) the same time I was in courthouse filing. It took a couple years to save money for that faster Motorcycle. I now have 3, a fast cruiser, a faster street bike, and a FUN dual sport (I'm thinking of re jetting the carb on for more throttle response.)

Have a friend who use to race motocross. Invited him over to ride, he said his wife won't let him ride anything. I said, we're not going to race, just a chill ride. "I can't" lol
I just had a fucked up day, truck cut me off and my left. Had to get a muscle and skin graph transplanted on top of my knee because I lost so much meat from the wreck. I had liver surgery too from internal bleeding. Had on all the gear except pants. I knew you had a video that would help start that fire in me again to ride. I’ve been in the hospital for a week now and been thinking every day that Ima quit riding but this video just made me decide I will never quit thanks Man U great. Ride forever

I was diagnosed with MS, and I still ride!!! DISCLAIMER: I'm cautious and aware of my body and how I'm feeling. If im having a not so great day, I don't throw my leg over the bike. 😊👍 On other days, my red ponytail is flying in the wind while I'm on my Gixxer!!!
I crashed pretty hard a couple of months ago. I quit while I was in the hospital because of the pain. But once I healed up I bought a new bike. I was and am still a little nervous but you'll get over it.

My new bike, same as the crashed on, s1000rr arrived 2 weeks ago and I haven't ridden it. I will ride it after corona lockdown ends. But my point is, it's easy to say when you havent had a serious accident. And I dont mean just falling off like CC did, I mean having a serious accident when you realize that its not just about YOUR skill, its about other reckless driver and riders too. The variables. So what I'm saying is I'm not quitting, nah, but I 100% understand why people do and would never talk them out if it.

I went down 2 summers ago barely started her recently and trying to make street fighter out of her, but in that time without her in my life I was a shell of man just a normal man who don’t ride, it was terrible. But now I found the light I can live again!
Imagine being a woman rider and having your mom telling you that you are not acting like a normal girl (aka. No makeup, no dresses, no boyfriends - apparently that's what normal girls need). So encouragement for me has come from instructors and friends.
Remember, when a woman marries you, that is the person they will stay married to. Often, guys make the mistake of going into a "MARRIAGE" mode. After which the wife gets bored, then goes after the new guy like the one she married. When a woman give you an ultimatum, it is a shit test. Do not fall for it. I learned this from experience. @@robbylebotha It's a 99 Honda Magna. The regulator/rectifier blew up when my brother was riding the bike. I replaced it with a new one, but when I turned the key to the "on" position, there was no indication that electricity was flowing through the bike. No starting lights (headlight, gauges, neutral light, side stand light) and no power to the starter when I pushed the start button (clutch lever pulled in). I checked the battery, the stator, the new regulator/rectifier, and the fuses. All okay, and still, when I turned the key to the "on" position, there was no indication that electricity was flowing through the bike. Also, the kill-switch was not engaged.
I bought an 2003 CBR600RR for my first bike. Went out for my first ride and had a blast. So I came home to let my nerves calm down then go back out. Second time out I get hit from the back. Needless to say if it wasn't for my gear I'd be dead or a veggie. But I lived thank God. Of course with about 10% less skin than I started with. No lie the only thing I could think about was getting back on. I rested for 2 days while my bike was in the shop. Once I got it back I hoped right back on with a beat up body and everything. There a no words to describe the feeling of riding. I get scared before getting on now but I just say a prayer and relax my mind then get out there. Once I'm on I don't want to get off. You're videos taught me a lot about riding fam. Thanks a lot!
Wife and 3 kids with one bike and another bike on the way lol. Wife just told me she wants me to stay geared up when riding, and to increase my life insurance policy since she knows I get a little crazy on the bikes😂😂.
SPEAKING MOTORCYCLE COSTS, a power commander or similar device, that can be easily detected with warranty work VOIDS ENGINE AND DRIVETRAIN WARRANTY. Hold off mods till warranty over especially HD unless done at dealership.
This was the motivation I needed to start riding again lol I have a street legal 2006 CRF 450X that I bought new in 07 that only has 90 hours on it...I’ve been slacking big time. It’s still in the same condition as on the showroom floor☠️
The bike will never make you choose between the bike and your wife 😂 My girlfriend was nervous about me getting my WR250R, but became way more open to it once she saw me watching safety videos every day, taking a course, gearing up with full gear every time I go out, and practicing for hours on end in the neighborhood to get my slow speed drills down before even considering going out in traffic. Now she sees how much it’s improved my mental health and overall happiness and wants a Suzuki Van Van for herself lol

I went riding with some friends and high sided leaving their house. Rode back to their place, reassembled the bike, and still went riding. If people give it up, it didn't mean enough to them.
I'll be honest, I'm losing my interest in sportbikes lately. They've gotten increasingly uncomfortable and I had the worst experience with the last bike I owned (a Ducati...stereotypes are true sometimes). What's worse is the behavior that is increasingly popular, triple-digit speeds on the interstate constantly, street-racing, plenty of street-Rossis. It's just tired. But that doesn't mean I'm going to stop riding, I'm just going to cut down on the group rides and start to look at different kinds of bikes. I grew up with dirtbikes, and have ridden supermotos, not quite my thing. So there will be a search, but that's part of the fun.
Your wrong. Sold my bike when I got laid off. that Stimulus you talked about, still no word on that. Unemployment is so far behind its been over a month and still no check from unemployment. So if you have a way to take care of a family with no income for over a month and keep paying insurance on a bike let me know. Until then don't judge what you obviously don't know about.
You should have sold your car instead until you got back on your feet unless you really needed it for your family. When I was a kid there was a number of years my mom didn't own a car and we traveled everywhere by city bus and walking, we did just fine and she saved money until she could get a car again.
CycleCruza so you all rode the bus so your mom could ride her motorcycle? I doubt that a lot. Even if I lived somewhere I could ride a bike year round and had a public transit system no, I wouldn’t have kept the bike over my truck. My truck is a lot more practical for a family than my super duke. Yes I’ll miss it, yes I’ll buy another someday but part of being a dad and sole provider of a family is making sacrifices so that your family doesn’t have to suffer. My kids health and well-being will always be more important to me than any material item could ever be. That’s what a real man does for his children. Sorry for this comment but in a high stress world hearing that just set me off. We do what we have to do for our kids and being put down for it just shows you clearly have no idea what it’s like to sacrifice everything so your family doesn’t have too. I do hope one day you’ll understand as being a dad is the greatest and scariest thing you can do with your life. I wouldn’t change my decision for anything. The money from my super duke has kept the lights on and food in their bellies and that’s all that matters.

Just Coolin that website just says we are eligible but no payment date has been scheduled. Unemployment here is all filed online but no payments have been sent to any of us that lost our jobs at least from the company I worked for. 2 days in a row on hold to see what is going on with it but after 5 hours it tells you the office closed. Hopefully they will get this sorted out. But I’ve survived some really hard times and we will get through it. Just going to be rough for a little bit. Thank you!
I love motorcycles. I am a trauma physician. Bikes are 30x’s more dangerous vs cars with crumple zones, airbags, stability control, seat belts, and size/weight. With a family, you need disability insurance if hospitalized for awhile. Selling your bike does not help with financials. If you enjoy a dangerous hobby be as safe as you can. It is the other drunk driver you must worry about. Stay extra vigilant. Marriage is about compromises as CC does not know about. CC is too old to marry as too set in his ways. Dirt bikes are safer as bushes are softer than street lights.

There is a dude who got paralyzed from the legs down from a motorcycle accident and he got a special bike made up that allows him to ride on the street. Also, there is another dude named Darius Glover, who races motocross, who is paralyzed from the waste down from a motocross accident and had a special bike made that allows him to still race. There are many others as well.
I was involved in a vechicle roll over, doctor's said I was never going to walk again. A lot of therapy later and am riding again also. Only a few years away from the bike and the whole time worried that I was never going to be able to ride again. I hit a deer on my bike in 2018 set my bike up for a really fucked up day. Called for a trailer got the bike home. Then jumped on my other bike and continued on my way to work. Sore but not broke.
Road for forty years I’m 55, lost 2 great very skilled riding friends over the last two years at different times to distracted drivers, neither ever had a chance to brake both were instantaneous , they were doing everything right, gear on not speeding and they were killed no fault of their own, but from dumb asses on social media. And after numerous close calls the risk out ways the reward, that’s why I quit.
I once had an ex try and tell me I had to stop riding because motorcycles are dangerous and she knew someone who died in a motorcycle accident. I said 5 people from my high school class died in car accidents, should we both stop driving cars too? That didn't work, so I said we should take some time apart, and we did. We never got back together. It was for the best. Lol
I dumped my last boyfriend because he didn’t want me on a bike 😂 I’ve been a biker since I was 4! Also got knocked off my bike by a bus, got back on as soon as I could 🙌🏼🏍❤️
My friend grew up next door to a guy who was blind. He was born with no eyes so he could see NOTHING. He wanted to buy my friends motorcycle. His parents let him and the kid rode it around the yard without hitting anything. My friend couldn't believe it, but the kid had learned to "see" by listening to sound bouncing back off of objects. The kid could also feel down the side of a car and tell what kind it was.

Started riding after 8 years and 1 toddler *into* my relationship with my lady. In the 3 years since, I upgraded to a Yamaha MT-10. Baby number 2 is on the way, so I guess that means I'll have 3 kids 😎 because we both know I'll ride till I die. Massive respect to my beautiful wife. If anyone tries to squash your passion, they're probably not the person for you.
If you lose your job for financial reasons you will sell the motorcycle to have additional cash. Selling car isnt ideal CycleCruuuza. Its financially responsible to do so :P if you got no funds like that ;)
I was helping a bro out working on his bike a huge Harley Bagger when his wife got pissed at him for toying with his bike too much. The crazy chic ran into the house grabbed a bottle opener and started scrapping the fck out of his paint job I mean everything got huge deep gouges all over it the bags the tank everything. He divorced her and had the last laugh because his insurance got him a new bike, so I guess a real fckd up day can turn into a real good proper day, sometimes anyway.
3 of those reasons is why I ride, not for quitting. I started riding after getting married with kids, after losing my job, and ride more now with declining health. Haven't lost license yet, but I was injured mountain biking in college off a jump I ate handlebar, 7 root canals, palette broke in half like a potato chip, jaws wired shut, cracked eye sockets, concussion, back all fooked up. Just makes me appreciate life more.

I never quit, but I have taken extended breaks from riding, like when my kids were young. Always knew at some point I would ride again, so once they were grown up I took a returning rider course and got back out there. Sometimes you appreciate it more when you've been away from it for a while. Now that I'm older my reflexes aren't as good, but it's fun to challenge myself to keep learning and be the best rider I can be.
@@CycleCruza Thanks! I'm a lot more safety conscious now than when I was in my 20's. I'm seriously considering getting an airbag vest this summer. I like the new one that's coming out, the Alpinestars Tech-Air 5. I think it has some advantages over the tether systems with faster deploy and deploy in crashes where you don't come off the bike, and full shoulder protection against collar bone fractures. I hope you get to review it at some point.

I had girls in the past try to get me to quit bikes until I found my wife who, while she doesn't ride herself, loves to get on the back when the weather's nice. First off to the op. I love your videos. I own a lot of bikes. I started riding in 1991 (legally with a New York State class 7 then 6 month later they went to letters for the class. I had a class M license before I even had a car license). My motorcycle road test came up 3 weeks before my car road test. This was back when you took a real motorcycle road test and you had to provide a motorcycle for the test as well as a car and a driver with both a car and motorcycle license to drove the examiner around behind you. Road test was suck a pita that most people in Brooklyn who rode would just take the written test and 20 guys would have their learners permit and one guy would have a motorcycle license and as long as you were in a 1/4 mile of the licensed rider then you were legal up till 9pm. Anyway a little background on my riding. I had one collision a full tractor trailer cut into my lane and my hips were crushed my the rear wheels. I needed 4 major surgeries over 2 years one full year mostly in a wheelchair. This was back in 92 with a 1988 Honda Hurricane CBR 1000. To this date it still hurts when it rains. So anyway girlfriend loves the bikes, GF turns into wife, wife turns into mother of my child. She never said a word to me about riding. When my daughter was born I made the decision to stop riding until the baby was grown up. I did everything a good dad could do. And my baby was fuckin taken from me for absolutely no reason at 4 years old. My wife and I did nothing to deserve that. A few months after we buried our daughter next to my parents. I hit 22 years with Fdny and I retired. And I wanted out of Brooklyn ny. Way too many bad memories attached to nyc. So I just packed up my family and moved us to Daytona Beach Florida and I went to Wyotech college for 18 months full time and buried myself in my school work graduated with honors as an eagle tech. After graduation I decided it was time to start riding again. So my last bike was a 2011 bmw s1000rr and I always wanted one of those late model Mv Agusta full blown race Superbikes. So I bought a 2016 white, red, and black trim MV Agusta F4RR Titanio that I love to ride as well as just look at it all day. And I recently also bought a 2014 BMW HP4 with minor body damage and a salvage title that I fixed up and I put most of the miles on the hp4. Both bikes are the best bikes I ever owned. I apologize for the long story. I just feel that once you have a child you have to be around for that chid. My dad passed when I was 9 years old from cancer and my entire family and life went to shit. Emotionally and financially we had to move to a tiny apartment in Brownsville Brooklyn where I wasn’t allowed to leave my house because it wasn’t safe outside. But that another story. Everyone please ride safe.

X tried to get me to part with my Motorcycle "it's dangerous."
No woman is getting me to give up riding!
A month later she overheard me saying I wished it was faster. She suggested selling it to get a faster bike. I sold it and started looking. She started B¡tch mode!
She emptied the bank accounts (& got my $ from the bike) the same time I was in courthouse filing. It took a couple years to save money for that faster Motorcycle.
I now have 3, a fast cruiser, a faster street bike, and a FUN dual sport (I'm thinking of re jetting the carb on for more throttle response.)
Never giving up riding lost a relationship because of my passion for riding rather hear a screaming engine then a screaming bitch muahahaha

I just had a fucked up day, truck cut me off and my left. Had to get a muscle and skin graph transplanted on top of my knee because I lost so much meat from the wreck. I had liver surgery too from internal bleeding. Had on all the gear except pants. I knew you had a video that would help start that fire in me again to ride. My new bike, same as the crashed on, s1000rr arrived 2 weeks ago and I haven't ridden it. I will ride it after corona lockdown ends. But my point is, it's easy to say when you havent had a serious accident. And I dont mean just falling off like CC did, I mean having a serious accident when you realize that its not just about YOUR skill, its about other reckless driver and riders too. The variables. So what I'm saying is I'm not quitting, nah, but I 100% understand why people do and would never talk them out if it.

I went down 2 summers ago barely started her recently and trying to make street fighter out of her, but in that time without her in my life I was a shell of man just a normal man who don’t ride, it was terrible. But now I found the light I can live again!
Imagine being a woman rider and having your mom telling you that you are not acting like a normal girl (aka. No makeup, no dresses, no boyfriends - apparently that's what normal girls need). So encouragement for me has come from instructors and friends.

It's a 99 Honda Magna. The regulator/rectifier blew up when my brother was riding the bike. I replaced it with a new one, but when I turned the key to the "on" position, there was no indication that electricity was flowing through the bike. No starting lights (headlight, gauges, neutral light, side stand light) and no power to the starter when I pushed the start button (clutch lever pulled in). I checked the battery, the stator, the new regulator/rectifier, and the fuses. All okay, and still, when I turned the key to the "on" position, there was no indication that electricity was flowing through the bike. Also, the kill-switch was not engaged.
I bought an 2003 CBR600RR for my first bike. Went out for my first ride and had a blast. So I came home to let my nerves calm down then go back out. Second time out I get hit from the back. Needless to say if it wasn't for my gear I'd be dead or a veggie. But I lived thank God. Of course with about 10% less skin than I started with. No lie the only thing I could think about was getting back on. I rested for 2 days while my bike was in the shop. Once I got it back I hoped right back on with a beat up body and everything. There a no words to describe the feeling of riding. I get scared before getting on now but I just say a prayer and relax my mind then get out there. Once I'm on I don't want to get off. You're videos taught me a lot about riding fam. Thanks a lot!
Wife and 3 kids with one bike and another bike on the way lol. Wife just told me she wants me to stay geared up when riding, and to increase my life insurance policy since she knows I get a little crazy on the bikes😂😂.

My girlfriend was nervous about me getting my WR250R, but became way more open to it once she saw me watching safety videos every day, taking a course, gearing up with full gear every time I go out, and practicing for hours on end in the neighborhood to get my slow speed drills down before even considering going out in traffic.

I went riding with some friends and high sided leaving their house. Rode back to their place, reassembled the bike, and still went riding. If people give it up, it didn't mean enough to them.
I'll be honest, I'm losing my interest in sportbikes lately. They've gotten increasingly uncomfortable and I had the worst experience with the last bike I owned (a Ducati...stereotypes are true sometimes). What's worse is the behavior that is increasingly popular, triple-digit speeds on the interstate constantly, street-racing, plenty of street-Rossis. It's just tired. But that doesn't mean I'm going to stop riding, I'm just going to cut down on the group rides and start to look at different kinds of bikes. I grew up with dirtbikes, and have ridden supermotos, not quite my thing. So there will be a search, but that's part of the fun.
Your wrong. Sold my bike when I got laid off. that Stimulus you talked about, still no word on that. Unemployment is so far behind its been over a month and still no check from unemployment. So if you have a way to take care of a family with no income for over a month and keep paying insurance on a bike let me know. Until then don't judge what you obviously don't know about.
You should have sold your car instead until you got back on your feet unless you really needed it for your family. When I was a kid there was a number of years my mom didn't own a car and we traveled everywhere by city bus and walking, we did just fine and she saved money until she could get a car again.
CycleCruza so you all rode the bus so your mom could ride her motorcycle? I doubt that a lot. Even if I lived somewhere I could ride a bike year round and had a public transit system no, I wouldn’t have kept the bike over my truck. My truck is a lot more practical for a family than my super duke. Yes I’ll miss it, yes I’ll buy another someday but part of being a dad and sole provider of a family is making sacrifices so that your family doesn’t have to suffer. My kids health and well-being will always be more important to me than any material item could ever be. That’s what a real man does for his children. Sorry for this comment but in a high stress world hearing that just set me off. We do what we have to do for our kids and being put down for it just shows you clearly have no idea what it’s like to sacrifice everything so your family doesn’t have too. I do hope one day you’ll understand as being a dad is the greatest and scariest thing you can do with your life. I wouldn’t change my decision for anything. The money from my super duke has kept the lights on and food in their bellies and that’s all that matters.

Just Coolin that website just says we are eligible but no payment date has been scheduled. Unemployment here is all filed online but no payments have been sent to any of us that lost our jobs at least from the company I worked for. 2 days in a row on hold to see what is going on with it but after 5 hours it tells you the office closed. Hopefully they will get this sorted out. But I’ve survived some really hard times and we will get through it. Just going to be rough for a little bit. Thank you!
I'm going to guess some reasons before I watch the video

3. Not as "practical" as cars

I love motorcycles. I am a trauma physician. Bikes are 30x’s more dangerous vs cars with crumple zones, airbags, stability control, seat belts, and size/weight. With a family, you need disability insurance if hospitalized for awhile. Selling your bike does not help with financials. If you enjoy a dangerous hobby be as safe as you can. It is the other drunk driver you must worry about. Stay extra vigilant. Marriage is about compromises as CC does not know about. CC is too old to marry as too set in his ways. Dirt bikes are safer as bushes are softer than street lights.
Annoying woman shouted at me for being out on a motorcycle during UK lockdown. Was in the countryside on KLX250, she didn't ask why I was out, just started shouting at me. Who's to say I wasn't a paramedic, delivering medicine or key worker.
There’s a old veteran guy who rides with ONE hand.... I couldn’t believe it when I seen it but his right hand was gone and he used his nub on a wrist saver of the throttle to go. THATS dedication....
There is a dude who got paralyzed from the legs down from a motorcycle accident and he got a special bike made up that allows him to ride on the street. Also, there is another dude named Darius Glover, who races motocross, who is paralyzed from the waste down from a motocross accident and had a special bike made that allows him to still race. There are many others as well.

I was involved in a vechicle roll over, doctor's said I was never going to walk again. A lot of therapy later and am riding again also. Only a few years away from the bike and the whole time worried that I was never going to be able to ride again. I hit a deer on my bike in 2018 set my bike up for a really fucked up day. Called for a trailer got the bike home. Then jumped on my other bike and continued on my way to work. Sore but not broke.
Road for forty years I’m 55, lost 2 great very skilled riding friends over the last two years at different times to distracted drivers, neither ever had a chance to brake both were instantaneous , they were doing everything right, gear on not speeding and they were killed no fault of their own, but from dumb asses on social media. And after numerous close calls the risk out ways the reward, that’s why I quit.
I once had an ex try and tell me I had to stop riding because motorcycles are dangerous and she knew someone who died in a motorcycle accident. I said 5 people from my high school class died in car accidents, should we both stop driving cars too? That didn't work, so I said we should take some time apart, and we did. We never got back together. It was for the best. Lol
I dumped my last boyfriend because he didn’t want me on a bike 😂 I’ve been a biker since I was 4! Also got knocked off my bike by a bus, got back on as soon as I could 🙌🏼🏍❤️
My friend grew up next door to a guy who was blind. He was born with no eyes so he could see NOTHING. He wanted to buy my friends motorcycle. His parents let him and the kid rode it around the yard without hitting anything. My friend couldn't believe it, but the kid had learned to "see" by listening to sound bouncing back off of objects. The kid could also feel down the side of a car and tell what kind it was.

Started riding after 8 years and 1 toddler *into* my relationship with my lady. In the 3 years since, I upgraded to a Yamaha MT-10. Baby number 2 is on the way, so I guess that means I'll have 3 kids 😎 because we both know I'll ride till I die. Massive respect to my beautiful wife. If anyone tries to squash your passion, they're probably not the person for you.
If you lose your job for financial reasons you will sell the motorcycle to have additional cash. Selling car isnt ideal CycleCruuuza. Its financially responsible to do so :P if you got no funds like that ;)

I was helping a bro out working on his bike a huge Harley Bagger when his wife got pissed at him for toying with his bike too much. The crazy chic ran into the house grabbed a bottle opener and started scrapping the fck out of his paint job I mean everything got huge deep gouges all over it the bags the tank everything. He divorced her and had the last laugh because his insurance got him a new bike, so I guess a real fckd up day can turn into a real good proper day, sometimes anyway.

3 of those reasons is why I ride, not for quitting. I started riding after getting married with kids, after losing my job, and ride more now with declining health. Haven't lost license yet, but I was injured mountain biking in college off a jump I ate handlebar, 7 root canals, palette broke in half like a potato chip, jaws wired shut, cracked eye sockets, concussion, back all fooked up. Just makes me appreciate life more.

I never quit, but I have taken extended breaks from riding, like when my kids were young. Always knew at some point I would ride again, so once they were grown up I took a returning rider course and got back out there. Sometimes you appreciate it more when you've been away from it for a while. Now that I'm older my reflexes aren't as good, but it's fun to challenge myself to keep learning and be the best rider I can be.

@@CycleCruza Thanks! I'm a lot more safety conscious now than when I was in my 20's. I'm seriously considering getting an airbag vest this summer. I like the new one that's coming out, the Alpinestars Tech-Air 5. I think it has some advantages over the tether systems with faster deploy and deploy in crashes where you don't come off the bike, and full shoulder protection against collar bone fractures. I hope you get to review it at some point.

Recently realized I've been riding for soon to be 20 years and I agree with everything you said 100%!
I had girls in the past try to get me to quit bikes until I found my wife who, while she doesn't ride herself, loves to get on the back when the weather's nice. Oh, and even though I already had a bike, she INSISTED I buy my dream Ducati when one came up for sale nearby.

First off to the op. I love your videos. I own a lot of bikes. I started riding in 1991 (legally with a New York State class 7 then 6 month later they went to letters for the class. I had a class M license before I even had a car license). My motorcycle road test came up 3 weeks before my car road test. This was back when you took a real motorcycle road test and you had to provide a motorcycle for the test as well as a car and a driver with both a car and motorcycle license to drove the examiner around behind you. Road test was suck a pita that most people in Brooklyn who rode would just take the written test and 20 guys would have their learners permit and one guy would have a motorcycle license and as long as you were in a 1/4 mile of the licensed rider then you were legal up till 9pm. Anyway a little background on my riding. I had one collision a full tractor trailer cut into my lane and my hips were crushed my the rear wheels. I needed 4 major surgeries over 2 years one full year mostly in a wheelchair. This was back in 92 with a 1988 Honda Hurricane CBR 1000. To this date it still hurts when it rains.
So anyway girlfriend loves the bikes, GF turns into wife, wife turns into mother of my child. She never said a word to me about riding. When my daughter was born I made the decision to stop riding until the baby was grown up. I did everything a good dad could do. And my baby was fuckin taken from me for absolutely no reason at 4 years old. My wife and I did nothing to deserve that.
A few months after we buried our daughter next to my parents. I hit 22 years with Fdny and I retired. And I wanted out of Brooklyn ny. Way too many bad memories attached to nyc. So I just packed up my family and moved us to Daytona Beach Florida and I went to Wyotech college for 18 months full time and buried myself in my school work graduated with honors as an eagle tech. After graduation I decided it was time to start riding again. So my last bike was a 2011 bmw s1000rr and I always wanted one of those late model Mv Agusta full blown race Superbikes. So I bought a 2016 white, red, and black trim MV Agusta F4RR Titanio that I love to ride as well as just look at it all day. And I recently also bought a 2014 BMW HP4 with minor body damage and a salvage title that I fixed up and I put most of the miles on the hp4. Both bikes are the best bikes I ever owned. I apologize for the long story. I just feel that once you have a child you have to be around for that chid. My dad passed when I was 9 years old from cancer and my entire family and life went to shit. Emotionally and financially we had to move to a tiny apartment in Brownsville Brooklyn where I wasn’t allowed to leave my house because it wasn’t safe outside. But that another story.

I stopped for 3years and started riding again thank god I got hit by a car and sold my zx7r then bought a Honda Sabre 1100 1984 sold that bought a 03 R1 I still have that and an FJr1300 so I was really sick not having a bike around but now bro I’m better my condolences to you for your brother though it seems your riding therapy is good to you that’s awesome man💪🏾
