    Thank you for this! If you use it the other way, there seems to be no way to bring pics back to Photos without exporting the photo and this simple instruction eluded me. It might have been easy to find, but I didn't see it until you showed it here. Excellent video as usual!

    Thank you for this tutorial. I just found your RUclips channel and will be going through many more! I have been using iPhoto to organize my pictures, and recently have been having issues with edits in Luminar NEO always going to my Lost Edits folder. For some reason, Luminar is not syncing with the original RAW images in iPhoto. Do you have any tips or videos/resources on how to organize iPhoto to avoid this issue? It may be my iCloud settings, but if you have any tips, I would love the advice :)

    One question: If I am using the Noiseless Raw, should I still apply a sharpening afterwards?

    • @CleverPhotographer

      Hi, thank you for your question. After applying noise reduction, sharpening is often applied to restore lost sharpness. However, the decision to apply sharpening depends on the specific image being edited.

    Great, simple instructions WOW. Thanks very much.
    Too bad I can't save the template afterwards. I saved my picture too early and now the editing can't be found in the history. Also learned something again.

    Thank you. I like your videos, you make things easy to follow. I noticed that you were able to put a raw image from apple photos into Luminar and have the develop tool reflect that it is a raw image. I would love to know how? I can not get it to work unless I offload my photos to Luminar first. I would really like to put them in Apple photos first.

    Well editing directly in Photos with the extension is much easier, But have you had an issue where the RAW Photo becomes very dark when you go into edit?

    • @CleverPhotographer
      @CleverPhotographer  Год назад

      Hi The Middleman... thank you for your comment. Yes, I had that experience with RAW files captured with Apple Devices, but otherwise not. What camera are you using?

    So the round trip from Photos>Luminar Neo>Photos is only good if you don't use the "extensions" modules in Luminar Neo? I use the HDR extension in Luminar Neo for a majority of my photos and once you HDR it, it becomes a separate image and therefore will not replace the original photo in Photos. If there's a way to replace the original photo with the HDR from Luminar Neo, that would be great, but I don't see it.

      Hi, you are right, there is no way to replace the photos. For most extensions, you need to use the main version of Luminar NEO instead of the plugin.

    Is there any way to have Luminar import the catalog of photos I have in icloud? Ie, it shows my cloud photos in the left side Luminar browser?

    • @CleverPhotographer
      @CleverPhotographer  9 дней назад

      Hi, yes you can import folder from your cloud, however the application may struggle when the image isn't available localy.

    Can you reopen the same edited photo with the all the historical adjustments available?

      Hello and thank you for your question. I am afraid that the answer is no. This is available in Photoshop when you use the Smart Object option, however not in Apple Photos.
