- for nicole (MundaneMuggle) who won me for last year's vidders4acause. i feel terrible this took me so long, but i really hope you enjoy the finished result. i know i had fun making it :) i missed vidding so much.
this video makes me realised how parallel Steve and Bucky’s life is and the only different is that Steve was given a choice but Bucky didn’t..
Here’s the thing about Stucky. It’s the perfect ship. They have a history, they have all the proper means the be in love, and they have both already shown that they will do anything for each other. Bucky (In The first avenger), before he died, actually took a moment to be scared. He actually stopped, looked scared, looked over to where Steve was, and then went straight in. And that’s only one thing. I could go on, but I’ve already put a list online. These two deserve a happy ending because god damn it, they’ve both been through so much, and both need someone that they trust and love to pick up the pieces of their hearts.

I agree 100%. Even in Civil War, which is kind of a mess characterisation-wise, we're told over and over again how much Bucky means to Steve, starting with Crossbones reminding Steve what it's like to "be a 16-year old in Brooklyn again". Then we have Steve pulling down a freaking helicopter to save Bucky from himself - no really, what was that for? To show us that Steve is strong? We know that! That's an incredibly expensive stunt, and all it shows is that Steve would do anything for Bucky. Then he defies over a hundred countries, the UN and Tony Stark to protect Bucky, and finally he drops his shield. Because it all means nothing, without Bucky.
Seriously. But, no, Steve can't possibly be in love with a man. I mean, according to the comics, he can be Hydra, but bisexual? Of course not.
@@gwenivercall wow man tell me how you feel now that Endgame happened. That was so janky. I believe Steve would have gone back for the dance, but to stay and abandon everything and everyone like that was...I don't know what those guys were thinking.

Steve saying "he didn't know me" And Bucky's "but I knew him" with that expression is still the saddest thing I know.
