Types of Hydraulic Hose Fittings

NUMBER 1.
What is hydraulic hose fitting?
Connect different hydraulic components (pumps, delivery lines, reversing valves, shut-off valves, hydraulic motors, hydraulic cylinders, and some auxiliary components, such as level gauges, thermometers, pressure gauges, etc.) to form A closed-circuit hydraulic system. It is an accessory that serves as a connection.
NUMBER 2.
National Pipe Tapered Fuel (NPTF) fittings
NPTF, American dry sealed tapered pipe thread, an abbreviation of National (American) Pipe Thread, belongs to the American standard 60-degree tapered pipe thread, used in North America. The tooth profile angle is 60 degrees, the taper is 1:16, and the taper limit deviation is -0.005~+0.005mm/mm.
NUMBER 3.
JIC 37°Flare fittings
JIC (or Joint Industry Council) fittings, defined by SAE J514, are compression fittings machined with a 37-degree flare seating surface and parallel threads. They are commonly manufactured in nickel alloys, brass, carbon & stainless steel. JIC Fitting hydraulic connections are common in most fluid power systems.
NUMBER 4.
SAE 45° Flare fittings
Soft copper pipes usually use this Hose fitting because the material can be easily processed to a 45° angle. SAE 45 fittings are widely found in low-pressure applications like refrigerant and fuel lines, as well as automotive piping applications. SAE 45°cone angle external thread can only be used with SAE 45°cone angle internal thread.
NUMBER 5.
O-Ring Face Seal fittings
When the O-ring on the external threaded Hydraulic Pipe Fitting contacts the plane of the internal threaded Hydraulic Steel Fitting, a seal is formed. In the hydraulic system, an elastomer seal can be used to control leakage, and this type of pipe hydraulic connectors can be used when the leakage prevention function is extremely important.
NUMBER 6.
Oring flange SAE J518
SAE J518SAE Type 61 and Type 62 four-bolt split flanges are usually widely used in the world to connect pumps and motors.
NUMBER 7.
Compression fittings
Compression fittings are designed for use with soft tubing and are not interchangable with bite type fittings! The Ferulok bite type fitting is a flareless fitting that consists of a body, a one-piece precision machined ferrule, and a nut.
