I finished my chemo a year ago and my eyelashes have not returned to their former thickness. Moxie lashes were gifted to me at Christmas. I tried them twice and then gave up. I will try again after seeing this video. I am not as skilled at makeup application as you are Kerry-Lou but you have convinced me to practice, practice, practice. Thank You!
I did find they looked better when I corrected the "wobbles" with regular makeup. These magnetic lashes are more forgiving when used with a smokey eye! Good luck!
I don't know why I didn't just pop on the others.....glad you liked them Meg, and I would say if you like natural, the half size might work for you, (Cheeky lash I think). xx
That is such a wonderful idea! Please let us know how you liked the other two styles and which one would be the most natural everyday one. Love your videos💚
Wow! That was great to watch, thankyou Kerry-Lou!! I, like you, used to wear false eyelashes a lot when I was young, and I also used to sit on my bed and watch my older sister get ready for her dates, watching how she did her makeup and her hair. She was 5 years older than me. Sadly she passed away quite suddenly 2 years ago from a cancerous brain tumour (Astrocytoma) at the age of only 69. I miss her. We lost both our parents within 11 months of each other 6 years ago. I have always wanted to try the magnetic eye lashes, and this video has given me the confidence to give them a try! Thanks again! Cheers, from Sue in South Australia!
Hi Sue, It was so nice to hear your about the memories of you and your sister, I had a similar experience with my older sister, watching her get ready:-D I am so sorry about her passing way too soon! You've been through some tough times, but I can tell you are naturally a happy and positive person, I'm sure your sister and your parents are at peace knowing that about you. I hope before long their memory brings a smile to your lips, before it brings a tear to your eye. All the best to you x
Dear Kerry Lou, I’ve been playing around with the notion of trying false eyelashes- have even bought some demi lashes but haven’t done anything yet. Think I want to try the Maxi lashes. You make it look so easy & they are really pretty on you. Thanks for giving a nudge❣️
I have never tried false lashes, but as my own lashes have become thinner, I have looked for a workable solution. This informative video gives me hope, Kerry-Lou! I'm going to buy some Moxie lashes today!!! Thank you for this great information! 🌻💙🌻
Thank you so much! I actually feel that way when I am taping these tutorials, because I've gotten to know so many of my viewers now, I imagine you all in the camera!
I became aware of magnetic lashes 2 years ago. I was skeptical about them until now. I've watched many make up tutorials where women have worn magnetic lashes. After watching you kerry I'm excited to give magnetic lashes a whirl😁
That was such a great tutorial, I ve been wondering for a while now if I could use such a product being nearly 62 and not very good at applying mascara since ageing. The classic lashes looked great on you but you are very beautiful without any makeup.
Thanks for doing this video and for all the research put into it. I've also wondered about magnetic lashes, but have been afraid to try them. I've never worn fake lashes. Maybe now I will work up the courage to try them.
Wow! I’m really very impressed! I was never one for false eyelashes, ‘always had fairly nice natural lashes, but I’m getting older. Lately, I’ve been using a lash enhancing serum. It works to thicken my lashes, and I’m happy. But I think I’d like to splurge on a few pairs of these for special occasions. Great video!
Hi Karen, thanks for watching, always nice to "see" you! Yes, I agree, I wouldn't use them every day, only for dressing up! Which lash serum do you like best?
@@kerrylou3 - I’m always happy to “see”you, too! Always something both interesting and helpful. Right now, I’m using VieBeauti eyelash growth serum (gotten from Amazon). The price is right, and it does actually work quite well!
Kerry Louis could you please recommend a make up mirror, maybe one you use. I spent $80 on a three lighted mirror. One of the lights didn't work, one light made me look jaundiced and neither was bright enough. I'm loathe to spend close to $100 for another failure. I would just like to be able to sit down and comfortably reacquaint myself with cosmetics. It's been a long time. Standing in a dimly lit bathroom just ain't doing it!
I just received my body charm subscription and guess what was in there? Yes a Moxie lash kit! Oh I cannot wait to try them on. Thank you, I really enjoy watching you, you’re a Doll 🥰
You look beautiful Kerry-Lou and the lashes are fabulous! You sold me for sure. By the way, I love your hair that length….your hair is gorgeous. I am beginning my pixie grow out. Your videos will come in handy as I can go back and reference them for style ideas. I loved my pixie but soon became bored with it. I feel that the longer hair adds a bit more femininity and youth as long as it’s not too long…….in my case my daughter has no problem telling me to “CUT THAT HAIR MOM!” 😁🥰

Another brilliant video, thank you! I have ordered a UK brand called Lola’s lashes so I hope they are as good as the Moxie ones. If Moxie aren’t paying you, they should be LOL!
Glad you liked this - No, Moxie are not paying me unfortunately! I bought them myself, quite an unhelpful company for me actually :-( Oh well, good product though. Let us know how the Lola's ones are ;-D
Thanks so much! Are use a Nikon camera, and my husband helps me with lighting. I’m very fortunate he is a good photographer and knows lighting very well. I would actually not get this camera again, because sometimes I like to shoot videos by myself, without my husband‘s help, and it doesn’t have a good face tracking feature - it was supposed to, but does not work! 😜. I am looking into getting a new camera, I’ll probably go for a Canon. If you check back with me in a month or so I’ll let you know what model I purchased and what I think of it.
They look very nice and you're such a pro at putting them on! Is the magnetic liner safe for sensitive eyes? No risk to eye health? Meibomian glands? dry eyes? Harmful ingredients? I'll check with Dr D; she does many videos about makeup & eye health.
Let us know what she says ;-D I'm sure there's always something in the formula that will affect some people. I know a few people that cannot wear anything on their eyes.
Your hair looks gorgeous Kerry, you know you inspired me to not dye my hair anymore. Sopped dying beginning of lockdown last March. How long did it take you to get it this length and how how often did you trim/cut it? New lashes amazing too!
Hi Maria, Thank you! I started growing it out in March 2020. I've had two trims recently, because I needed more shape in the back of my hair, it's kind of flat and straighter back there! Good luck with your hair journey!
I had a Sephora girl put the glue on ones on me. I wear glasses and they kept hitting my glasses and folding under. I had a hard time getting the glue off too. I must have rubbed too hard with a swab that I caused a sub conjunctivital hemorrhage on my eye. I will never wear the glue on ones! I tried the layer magnetic ones and there’s one somewhere on my bathroom floor hiding! These look pretty easy to put on. Do you think a person that wears glasses can wear them? I’m glad to hear that the eyeliner came off easily. I had read where the liner was difficult to get off.
Thanks for your comment, I think they would be OK with glasses as long as you choose some that aren't too long! I think there are some brands now that have even more natural looking ones, I'll have to start looking into them again! good luck!
I’m in Australia and I got some a while ago, but I haven’t been confident enough to try them. I’m nearly 77. Do you normally have to trim your strip lashes? I noticed that you didn’t need to trim these. It was a great and informative video. Thank you . 🤗
You sold me! Off to order...am wondering your thoughts, on fading eyebrows and either filling them in manually(drawing) or the other option(microblading)? As I have gotten older, my brows are disappearing...boohoo////thanks!
Glad you liked this! I think filling them in with eyeshadow is my preference, try to pick an ashy color, (nothing too vivid) depending on your hair color. I have seen good microblading, but as with tattoos, colors can change over time. Make sure you get a good recommendation if you go for this option. Good luck!
You look so pretty, love your makeup. You've sold me on Moxie Lashes. Going to try them. My question is about your eyebrows. My hair color is close to yours and I'm always searching for a color without red in it. Which eyebrow product do you use and in which color? Thank you 💕
There's a Bobbi Brown eyeshadow color called "Cement" that works well. Also, I sometimes use a brow mascara by NYX in "blond" it's kind of an ashy color. It's really hard to find the perfect color for us salt n pepper ladies!
Thank you so much! I use Crest White Strips about every 3 months, go for cleanings about 3 times a year, and floss. I also had Invisalign a couple of years ago!
I'm glad to know you wear contacts as I do. Wondered about that. Thanks for your video.❤

Thank you . 🤗
I’m nearly 67! I was having a senior moment! 🤭
funny! ;-D I do usually trim the lashes, and I think I will the next time. trimming makes them even more comfortable! Good luck with them! x
@@kerrylou3 thank you so much for responding! I'll def check it out.
Blessings always 💯🙏❤️👏☝🏼
Great video! Is mascara needed? I wonder if the lashes are too long for eyeglasses 🤓
No mascara necessary! You should get the shortest ones for glasses ;-D
Is the liner water or sweat proof?
I have the magnetic lashes upper and lower but would like to use that magnetic eyeliner!
Not sure if you can actually swim with them, but the liner does seem quite water resistant.
Thank you what is the brand name of the liner
Love from India.I love your teeth..they are so sparkling white.Any quick tips on teeth care besides brushing twice?
Thank you so much! I use Crest White Strips about every 3 months, go for cleanings about 3 times a year, and floss. I also had Invisalign a couple of years ago!
@@kerrylou3 Thankyou so v much for your reply.
