Hi! I really love the content and work you have put into creating 3D Shoemaker - I'm exploring 3D printing in shoe making too, I was wondering what material do you use that allows for a nail and impact from a French Hammer? without the material breaking. I have PLA atm but it can be quite brittle - what other material do you suggest?

from the level of customization drop down choose advanced. And choose the option for L/R being different. Then you can set the overall thickness differently for the left and right. TPU is good for orthotics.

Hey! I need to print full size orthotics with arc and metatarsal support, which printer would be better? the Bambu lab P1S or the Creality K1 Max? appreciate your help.

Hey there, I'm not entirely certain that you're needing orthotics. I'd suggest going to your local pharmacy to look for gels. Gel caps, toe separators, spacers, et cetera and find what you're looking for there. Popular brand name would be Pedifix. Vive Health & Medline are pretty good too.
Orthotics, especially custom, are specifically for those with severe foot conditions that can be treated with said orthotics. Based off your description, it sounds like you're possibly referring to claw toe. You can get some plain OTS/prefab orthotics for comfort, but honestly, those gels I mentioned would work best.
      Hope this helps!
