- Sesame Noodles
Ingredients
Sauce
3 tbsp sesame paste
3 tbsp peanut butter
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp black vinegar
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp grated garlic
1 tsp grated ginger
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp msg
2 tbsp chili oil(less if you don’t like spicy)
1/2 cup hot pasta water
Assembly
2 bundles fresh flour noodles
Sauce
Cucumber(Julienned)
Green onion
Crushed peanuts
Chili Oil
Instructions
1. Combine all sauce ingredients in a bowl.
2. Boil fresh noodles for 3 minutes making sure to save some of the hot water for the sauce so it is nice and smooth. If you like this dish cold, rinse the noodles under ice cold water.
3. Combine the noodles with the sauce until fully incorporated. If the noodles seem too thick, add a little more of the hot water from boiling the noodles.
4. Garnish with cucumber, green onion, crushed peanuts, and chili oil.
Dude this is more like 15 minutes! So awesome!! Imma definitely have to make this for myself because it actually looks easy to make!!
This looks wonderful!
1) Glad you are doing single servings
2) I need to get over the fact I need to shop for a lot of ingredients. But then I will have them for next time so...
I will prepare this recipe and will let you know. Looks yummy😋
If someone else would've made this dish, they would say it takes less than five minutes, but u included this in a 30 min meal. For me, it'll take probably 10 mins to make this. I'm definitely gonna try.
He said, "less than 30 mins". Ten minutes is less than 30
😂
It's 30 minutes if you include prepping - cutting cucumbers, spring onions, ginger, garlic, crushing peanuts, and washing the ingredients plus utensils
he literally said it “takes less than 30 minutes to make” are you hard of hearing ???
Made this today, was one of the most incredible recipes I have ever tried! So incredibly simple but so rich in flavor, aroma and colors. Perfect for peanut lovers like me. Much love!
How do you not have way more subscribers?
I’m so happy I found your channel 🥰
Same!
Oh yummy 😋 delicious!!💕
Dude everything you make looks sooooo damn good. Quickly becoming my fav recipe youtuber.
It is so easy! Just combine plate and dish! So easy
Everything you make looks freaking amazing
Hello thete, thank you for sharing the way cook sesame noodlr
I absolutely love this man and his channel
Dude your freaking noodle recipes always look so damn delicious. I really need to try one of them at least.
I love these noodles, and I appreciate that there’s a complete recipe, even though they are quite simple. I prefer cooking and eating at home, as it’s healthier and you get exactly what you want. But I do understand some people do not keep a stocked pantry; I’d hate having to stop cooking and go to the store to get soy sauce.
This recipe is for stocked pantry enthusiasts only.
Thanks for this! I tried it out today and tasted good!
what time of noodles are these? love the video
Just perfect....
LOVE THESE VIDEOS!!!
Wow fast and look's delicious 😊
That’s looks amazing ❤
Yum!!!❤️
Looks soooo good!!!
I just love how simple some chinese dishes are, like it's basically 3 steps:
- make sauce, set it aside
- cook the meat/ veggie/ noodles, set it aside
- combine the previous 2 points
- voila, bon appetit
I love listening to Pastor Jack 🙏🏻
OMG THE CREAM!!
That's what she said 😂
Wow that looks delicious! I’m eating a bowl as we speak but I never seem to make enough sauce! As mine are very dry and they never SOUND like that!!! 😂😂❤🍜
...would tahini work as a decent replacement for sesame paste?
This looks soooo good 🤤!!! Quick question though for people with peanut allergies can they use something else besides peanut butter?
Tahini?
what kind of noodle is that. is it rice noodle.... can other noodle be used.
I dont have sesame paste, is there any alternate ingredients?
I have in my pantry tahini sauce.. is that sesame paste?
Or do I need to go to the Asian market and look for sesame paste?
MSG-the king of flavor
Said a very wise man…
100 percent agree
Uncle Roger
Apparently it's not the only thing it's the king of :
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5938543/
I think I'll skip this ingredient when trying these recipes 😅
Make's Shit Good
What kind of noodles are you using?
You got any recipes very much like this but without peanuts?
Can you make it with just the Tahini or do you have to have the peanut butter?
Which kind of noodle?
Where do you get your noodles from?
Where can I get fresh noodles from?
Is the sesame paste different from tahini?
There is no link between MSG and cancer. I encourage everyone to do their own research.
Yum
Can we skip msg?
I will try it out.
Looks sooooo good bro.
I'm very interested in learning how you make your noodles look so nice in the bowl. My noodles look random and a mess. How do you make them lay in the same direction like that?
Is there a replacement for msg?
Is sesame paste the same as chu hou sauce?
Is noodles all u cook?
What kind of noodle is this please?
What is MSG ? Also what is the alternative for black vinegar ? Here we have grape 🍇 vinegar kinda black or balsamic vinegar
MSG creates a basic taste sensation called "Umami", and also intensifies some tastes. It's usually used in savory foods. It has been on the market for more than 100 years!
Balsamic would not be a good substitute since black vinegar is not at all sweet. If you don't have it, use normal white vinegar. It won't have exactly the same flavor but will be quite similar.
Dude I like your content
According to your written recipe I found I needed to do one more bunch of noodles than called for because of the thickness of the sauce. Still very good
Wow! How can you make a sesame paste?
Buy Tahini, its basically the same thing
Toasted sesame seeds and sesame oil in a food processor
i buy them in jars in asian grocery stores
Can i substitute.miso paste for sesame pasta?
@@BalrajSingh-gg3qm I wouldn’t. Do you have an aversion to sesame?
What kind of noodles?
by sesame paste do you mean like, tahini? otherwise where do i find this?
This is my most favorite NOODLES!!
These look so fancy!
I just put peanut butter and chilli in my ramen but I think it’s starting to get addictive 😂
Deliciuse...
Finally something truly vegetarian without fish sauce and oyster sauce
This looks soo good🥲
I'm really not sure to where get all the ingredients...
I really want an asia shop in my town for such dishes. D:
Does the sauce keep well in the fridge? I’d love to make a jar of it and then just use it when I need it!
is there a exactly recipe for it?
Yum 😋❤
which noodles did you use, can you link it please
Anyone know the measurements? Sure this will get some hate but I’m curious what the proportions are of each ingredient😂
Will this work without the peanuts/peanut butter for those of us with allergies?
Boil some cashew and purify or buy cashew butter. It is quite good in taste too.
@@wimpow I’m more allergic to cashews lol
@@dxtstegosaurus8904 damn, I can't see my other reply, so I can't edit. I mean abura soba, not Aburamen
What is black vinegar
Keep this up broski
What’s the best type of noodles to use for this dish ?
Would be great if you could specify which type of noodles. "Fresh noodles" is not really a thing.
You can use ramen noodles, egg and even plain white noodles. They all work.
I tried costco rice noodles
He's probably just referring to the fact that they would be refrigerated versus dried noodles, which have a much better texture. Choose whatever you like.
What kind of noodle you used? It looks good
Wooooooow
Is this still good without peanut butter? I’m allergic but this looks so damn good
Damn looks great. Gonna try this
Let me know how you like it!
Does anyone know the proportions for the sauce?
Is it possible to make this peanut free? Or is the peanut butter necessary?
This was exactly my question
absolutely!
You probably could try almond butter or sunbutter, or any nut/seed butter that you can eat. The taste will not be the same, but should still work. Just make enough for one serving, and prior to mixing the noodles in try it to see if you like it.
@@marlies7444 thanks!
are these wheat noodles?
Are there recipes for these and other Shorts shown here 👩🏻🍳?
If so, can anyone tell me where I can find them?
Otherwise, why would demand put some Shorts in there and make people want to try them 🤤?
It would be unfair...
Finally a recipe I have all the listed ingredients for... 😅
What can I use instead of black vinegar? It is not available here.
looks great but they were just a bit over sauced. I might have thrown in some julienned carrots too
Genius
I blended in some mashed sweet potatoes with these noodles and it made the perfect hidden vegetable meal!
I make a peanut sauce with peanut butter, soy sauce, sesame oil, lemon juice, and either chili oil or peri-peri sauce (i use what I have on hand). I will thin it out depending on how I seek to use it. It can be a dip, a salad dressing, a soup base, etc. I find a great way to use it is with noodles/spiralized zucchini, chicken or fish, some nuts or sesame seeds, and some other veggies as garnish. Make the sauce even thinner and add some coconut milk for a rich and heavenly soup
What Chilli oil do you use?
Could you include a calorie count , please?
Is this one or two servings?
What is MSG?
monosodium glutamate. A salt naturally found in lot of foods like parmesan that many people incorrectly believe is harmful. It's just a flavor enhancer though; you can leave it out.
Could we get an ingredient list
In the description. 😉
Any substitute for sesame paste?
Who's watching this guy make noodles while eating noodles? :)
Hey does anyone have sugestions for something to replace the peanut butter cause my partner will die if he eats them but I wanna make this and I don't want him to feel left out
Bro youre goated and seem like a cool guy. Cheers
Can I replace the sesame past for row tahini?
I've tried it and it's not nearly as good. It doesn't have the same deep roasted sesame flavor.
Sometimes you can find tahini made with roasted sesame seeds, that would be closer
Looks great! Looks like it’s close to a DanDan Noodle..Thank you
Beautiful
Hey. How about telling us the correct measurements of the spices.
