This guy is still selling these pedals in 2024! I saw this yesterday while surfing YT and now I've got a Preamp House in the mail to me. I always go between a Friedman IR-X and a Joyo Zombie for my main tones. I'm hoping to build a pedal board around this tone machine to take out live and I'll just turn the knob as needed for whatever song I'm playing.
Should grab the Tone X pedal if u can swing the $400. Best amp tones you’ll get and can get 1000s of different amps, pedals, and whole signal chains in one. Plus u get the toneX software for your PC which is amazing as well. Also comes with Amplitube 5 which is an awesome plugin with almost every amp there is to play.
I already released some music, it's available on Spotify and Bandcamp. About inspiration my list will be really big, in different time periods different music inspired me.

Curious if anyone knows how to fix this: My guitar signal is extremely hot, and when I plug it directly into my audiobox (presonus usb96) it clips with all the knobs turned to 0, and has a digitally crap sound when i palm mute. Is this a DI box fix, or a preamp fix? Using Studio One 5, and Aurora Rhino for my amp/cab sim.
Sounds like your input settings are wrong. You should make sure not to go into a preamp ch ( xlr cable) . If you are plugged with a normal guitar cable then reduce volume on your amp sim. Also see if you can switch the input from -10 to +4 . That will take some gain down. Or if you can switch between hi z level to line level ( all on your sound card) .

Not really at all! In the mix it can sometimes but guitars only u can definitely tell a huge difference in amps. I’m in the more super tight and dry sounding amps which sucks cuz I’m a pretty sloppy player 😂

I love this pedal, I originally got it for the Mesa Boogie Lonestar setting but they're all amazing especially the 5150iii.

Thanks, i use ir from own hammer heavy hitters pack, in my 7 string ibanez there are stock ibanez pickups.

Go for the Preamp House or Mooer Preamp Live, you won't need an expensive amp to sound awesome

You can use it as a distortion pedal i think, in the start or middle of your chain

No overdrive or boost, i just use cab ir from Ownhammer and little post EQ as i do in all of my mixes

Digital, as i know, sound is based on analog scheme, but it has settings memory for the channels setup.
I sure would like to hear this pedal without all the pre-production extras. This is not the way it sounds direct into my Roland 16 track recorder.
If its pre produced you'll be OK
You need an IR loader. All guitar preamps need to be run through a real cabinet and miked or run though a virtual version to sound correct.

It's basically a Horizon Apex Preamp clone but that's not at all a bad thing! for 1/3 the cost I can't complain!
