Basically for example a whole paragraph could be a metaphor in its entirety which is why it’s called an extended metaphor because it’s a long one. Sorry I’m 2 years late

why does shakespeare make macbeth stop feeling guilt by the end?
Great question - Perhaps it is part of Macbeth's inability to want to see the consequences of his actions. Instead, he becomes solely fixated on his need to keep power rather than show compassion or care for others. Comparing Macbeth and Lady Macbeth's trajectory with guilt is powerful for how starkly different they are at the start and end of the play!!!!
@@MissHannaLovesGrammar We can also say that he no longer feels guilt due to Nihilism. He no longer cares about life as such his guilt of killing banquo and Duncan leaves him which then pushed his ambition to keep power.
