💖 ok, when you talked about sharing your freezer meals with others in your neighborhood, and mentioned someone recently divorced, my eyes welled up. I’ve been divorced for 10 years now and at the front end of that season, I had a friend deliver dinner for me and my children. It was as if I was receiving a hug. 💖
ThankYou for sharing that personal comment. I agree- having someone thinking about you and your family at a personally difficult time is as good as a hug. Especially at times when feeding the kids isn’t at the forefront of your thoughts.
Jody thomas, God bless the folks with giving 💕 They bring a spark of joy to those less fortunate. It is heartwarming to hear that it meant alot to you that they went out of their way to show you love, especially when divorce can make one feel such a void of the love they once thought they knew. God bless you too, dear.
Christine, I just went to Aldi for the first time this morning even though I've been watching your videos for months -- where have I been?!?! 😳 It was GLORIOUS 🙌 and I spent the day making several of these freezer meals. My freezer is STUFFED! Bought 52 items for $96 and I have enough lunches and dinners for at least a month! As this is an older video you might not see this comment but if you do: thank you, you're amazing, and God bless from Texas. 🥰
I love it when you do these videos! I have a really good friend dealing with depression and meals are particularly hard for her, so in the spirit of FFM I’ve made extra meals to share. So she doesn’t feel bad or weird I just tell her I’m ridiculous and made more than I had room for! ☺️

I didn't get to watch it really, so I'll have to watch again but the past and present Christine talking to each other made me chuckle. Tip for the bag holders: after you clip the bag in, keep the "arms" at a short level. As you fill the bag, raise the arms; it stays more stable that way. I signed up for Eating Together after your last video, and I love it! I love a short, doable freezer cooking session (I've not done one of the 30 meal packages), and - not being particularly great in the kitchen - I love having freezer meals ready to give to people who could use a meal. Thanks for sharing about them!
I love you and you smiley spoon!!!!❤ you give all of us such inspiration to cook!!! You make it fun and funny!!!❤🎉 thank you so much!!!! God's Blessing to you and your family!!!!❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉😅
When I make my homemade pot pie, I double the filling and freeze 1/2. Next time I want some, I thaw out the bag of filling and either pour it into a pie crust or whip up some quick biscuits to bake on top of it. So easy and my family loves it.
I am a fan of the eating together monthly meals and now I’ll try the freezer meals! I am so excited! I am a full time doc student with a family. (Single mom) This kind of prep makes dinner time so much more enjoyable and easy!. Thanks FFM and Eating-Together!
Also I love having freezer meals ready to go for others. Your not feeling well? Let me bring you a meal! No greater joy than being prepared to make someone’s life easier.
This channel is SO underrated! This woman puts so much effort into her videos and their always informational. Idek how she had time for all this. Crazy. Shoutout to her !
Onions irritate my eyes so much but I love the flavor it gives to dishes. I came up with the BEST hack for that problem. I buy a whole bag of onions then run them all thru my food processor that I set up on my back patio table. Freeze flat in gallon bags. When I need a certain amt, I just break off a piece - no more tears!!

Hey Christine, found your channel recently, loving it! Looking back, I think the day this video came out was the day a family friend brought us a homemade lasagna while my mom was in the hospital. Thanks for encouraging people to share with those in need. You might never realize just how much a simple meal can mean when life goes wrong.
I've never found a bottled teriyaki sauce that I liked, but it's so easy to make and then you can adjust to your liking. It's basically water, brown sugar, soy sauce, and ginger. I like to add garlic, red pepper, and pineapple juice.
What's so awesome about this is I never thought of freezing the ingredients together for easy cooking on the day of. I always cooked everything, then froze it. But I can totally see how much easier this is and I'll adapt it to my recipes. Thanks for an awesome video!
Always learn something....I never knew you could chop and freeze onions and peppers.....so thanks for all those that made the comments. I totally enjoyed this and am so surprised you didn't mess up your shirt! LOL Let me also say how kind you are to do this for those in need, I know the recipients will be so grateful. Be Blessed and thanks for sharing. Hugs
I love being efficient and meal prepping definitely helps when things are busy. The cool thing is that you can adjust any of these recipes to your own taste. I try to avoid white flour products, so I would just switch to whole grain versions of tortillas, pasta, and bread. Thank you so much for this!
Perfect timing! I’m organizing a “sponsor a meal for a local Veteran for memorial day weekend event” yes I know it’s more appropriate for Veterans Day but we will probably do it again then). Now I have ideas on what to have everyone make!
@@gothprincessheidi as a mom to 4, I find comments like that to be rude and hurtful. I know it was a joke; I love humor… just not about having babies. You don’t know the journey some women have been on to get there!
I don't even care about the cooking. I just love to watch you act silly!!! You're adorable and hilarious! You remind me of my quirky father, I can imagine what sense of humor your beautiful children have!! Bless them!
I get out my food processor and use the chop function for all my onions for the month. I do the same thing with bell peppers, mushrooms and shredding cheese. That way I only have to wash my food processor once and I save time not chopping things. I'll also buy those big containers of de-skinned garlic before roasting them in my oven and portioning them (about a tablespoon) into saran wrap and putting them in my freezer. Makes it super easy to toss in some roasted garlic for pasta, stirfrys, stews, etc.
I learned to cook in a big family, at one time later it was my husband six kids a son in law and my self, cooking big was never a problem for me. Now that I am cooking for one [which you would think would be easy] it is never easy to not end up with way to much, not much freezer space and limited budget just make for a real pain in the behind...
To avoid crying while cutting onions I was taught that as soon as you start to feel it, run your tap on as cold as it will get, rinse your knife and you'll stop. Sometimes it helps to rinse your hands too. Always works for me
I just want you to know I did buy last months Eating Together because of your videos and I can’t even tell you how happy it made me! So far we loved all the dinners except one that my kids didn’t really dig but I loved! It’s made my life so much easier, especially being someone who is chronically ill with RA and other autoimmune issues. So, this has been a game changer for me! Love this! Thank you for doing these videos so we can have all these terrific options that until now I had no idea existed! 🙌🏻👏🏻😁😘 Even though it took me a weekend to prep everything (due to RA) it was SO worth it to have meals ready to go! Love you girl! You’re my fave!!! 😂😘❤️ Now, excuse me while I go buy this months recipes with your discount! Ty!😉😂😘
So sweet of you to make meals for others. You have such a kind and caring heart. Plus your videos are the best. They’re some of my favorite to watch and you give lots of great ideas for people who are stuck in a dinner rut or trying to keep it budget friendly :)
Love these! The pizza pasta is my favorite- I thought about doing a 'white pizza' version with spinach, mushrooms and onions in an alfredo sauce, or a Greek pizza version with feta cheese, black olives and red onion- so many great options! Thank you for sharing this great freezer meal prep 🌻🌞
For holding the baggies, if you drink coffee or know some one who does, large bulk plastic containers that folders and other coffees come in are perfect for holding bags open , not to mention make good travel trash/sick containers in cars with lids with baggie and paper towels.
Christine, no idea if you already know this but, you can chop onions and bell peppers and keep them in the freezer for up to a year. I divide them into 1-qt freezer bags...the 1-gal bags developed ice crystals before the onions and peppers could be used up and ruined the taste and texture. BTW...You don't have to blanch onions or peppers before freezing. 😁
Because of you I now shop clearance at my Kroger. Win Win! Thanks for the tips! I look for your new videos first thing everyday. Keep up the great fun on your channel! Laura from Texas
I love doing freezer meals. I don't do that many when I do them since it's just me but it makes it easier for when i do get really lazy. Today I made some meatballs and the will go in the freezer since I made a meatloaf and potatoes for lunches and then a breakfast casserole. I like mixing the mild sausage and sweet sausage or the mild and hot
If you really hate chopping and/or biting into onions, you can also use a food processor or blender even. My brother hated big pieces of onion, so my mom chopped them in the blender.

Just a tip for the unaware : An iron whisk can do the same as the "meat masher" :P so whisk = multi tool Also, buy an electric kettle to pre-boil water = faster boiling in pot :)
Heck, I chop a pile onions, mixed bell peppers, celery and carrots, and store them in the FREEZER in gallon bags or stacked Tupperware! They stay loose or break up really easily, so just grab a handful and throw ‘em in soup or sauté before adding meat or whatever. EASY and no worries about them going bad. Also great when you find vegs on sale - just keep adding them to the bag.
I saw a tip on cutting onions where if you put a damp paper towel next to your cutting board the acid that makes your eyes burn is drawn to the towel instead of your eyes. I’ve been using this hack every time I prep onions and so far it works great!
I love most chips so I can't answer my favorite. A trick I do for cutting onions is turn the vent on by your stove and chop them there. I have a downward vent. I put my cutting board on the burners and I hardly ever cry anymore since I started doing that.
I want to say thank you for all your great meal ideas. I love watching your videos and you give very easy to follow instructions. Thank you for all that you do.
I use pitchers for holding my ziplock bags and it is what I prefer compared to the ziplock holders. I agree the pitchers are so much more stable. I love all the freezer meal ideas, I am so glad to see that someone cooks just like me, I don’t measure a whole lot while preparing or cooking my meals either, and it turns out just fine. Definitely a win win 👍 Thanks again Christine for another great video.
Can you do a video of basic items that would be good to keep in your pantry? I know that this depends on what your making but maybe for some of the most common, kid friendly ideas. I love seeing your recipes, thanks!
You look like a busy person and you said my family doesn't need 30 freezer meals but some people do. Its nice of you thinking of others that do! Cheers!
What a great job, those families will be so happy! If you want less sugar you could also take basic tomato sauce (no basil) and add BBQ sauce flavours or even a splash of BBQ sauce. :)
Christine, that comes to $5.00 for each meal & that is awesome! I use some of your time saving techniques for baking as well, especially during the holidays. I measure out all of my dry ingredients, put them in freezer bags & label the bags with remaining instructions. I also measure out any wet ingredients & label them as well & put them in bags or containers. I do all of this the day before I plan to do the baking. It makes everything so efficient. Thanks Christine, it’s such a great idea to have some already made for people that need a little help. One time I just didn’t have time, so I got take out from a restaurant & that was quite pricey. Other options would be a breakfast casserole with muffins & fruit. I have done the casserole & muffins etc for friends who’ve lost a loved one, for the morning of the service. People have always been so great full for any of these ideas. It’s such a stressful time, wether it’s a new baby, loss of a job or loss of a loved one. It takes one thing off their plate that they don’t have to worry about.
The best teriyaki sauce is homemade and it's so easy. I think it might e less expensive than bottled because it is made with items you probably have on hand in your pantry. Soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, brown sugar, garlic and ginger. Great video, I like meal prepping. Thank you for your videos.
By the way, Stubbs Original BBQ sauce is the lowest carb store shelf sauce that doesn't use artificial sweetners. Its got 7 carbs per serving, G.Hughes has 2. But the the flavor of Stubbs is so fabulous its well worth the 5 extra carbs per serving. I just cut carbs deepervin the veggie side of the meal to balance it out.
Love the video and I got some great ideas, but the music selection? THE BEST EVER! So nice to hear some rock/punk type music that I always listen to instead of the same type of mellow stuff everyone always plays.
lol im so glad you have fun in the kitchen - we sure are in there a lot! i'm definitely trying some of these recipes, fresh and frozen! did my first freezer meal prep back in March and got 25 done! figuring out what freezes well and what doesn't are sucky lessons, but have still been worth learning, 100%!

Lay's has the all dressed chips with a Canadian maple leaf on the cover. They are OH so good! Love your idea to give meals away. I live in a really small town and I know some families that could use some love with freezer meals. You have inspired me.
Hi! Try to look for "Mr. Yoshida's" sweet teriyaki sauce. Ive seen it at Costco also. Its great and you can add fresh seasoning to it to call it YOUR homemade sauce 😉
I'm second person to comment!! Never happens. I love the saying, 'I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken'....love your shirt. Where did you get it? Also, I saw where someone 'browned' their burger in the instant pot! I did it, with a cup of water, put 3 lbs of half thawed burger on the trivet the IP came with and cooked on high pressure for 23 minutes or so, then mashed with the meat masher....so wonderful to have already browned beef in the freezer for quick barbeques or anything requiring browned burger. And doing this is so easy and I don't have to stand at the stove and stir the burger to brown evenly etc.

Welcome!!
Love these freezer meal ideas! I think it's great that you give some away to help others as well.
Loving the look of this preparedness and the playful energy :)
Good morning Christine! I say those same things while being "dramatic"! "Please, for the love of all things holy"
You are the BEST!!!!!! Love ur silliness, makes my day
The best teriyaki sauce is homemade and it's so easy. I think it might e less expensive than bottled because it is made with items you probably have on hand in your pantry. Soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, brown sugar, garlic and ginger.
Great video, I like meal prepping.
Thank you for your videos.
Awesome meal ideas! I love the idea of prepping the cut onions too. Super smart.
You are delightful! I'm only five minutes in, but you've made me smile or chuckle several times! 😂Thank you for this tutorial. So helpful!
It's the swim goggles for onions. The seal around your eyeballs is what does it!
Wow I wish I was this efficient! Amazing job and video. I will have to try this!
lol im so glad you have fun in the kitchen - we sure are in there a lot! i'm definitely trying some of these recipes, fresh and frozen! did my first freezer meal prep back in March and got 25 done! figuring out what freezes well and what doesn't are sucky lessons, but have still been worth learning, 100%!
YAY for the freezer meals for the recently separated and divorced! These families are often left out of the meal train kind of care.
Thank you for the freezer meals I just downloaded them and now I can feed my kiddos and have them actually have something that’s decent it’s really hard it’s just really hard but now things are better thank you inspire me
Love the segment with the conversation between Past Christine and Present Christine, lol!! ❤
Lay's has the all dressed chips with a Canadian maple leaf on the cover. They are OH so good! Love your idea to give meals away. I live in a really small town and I know some families that could use some love with freezer meals. You have inspired me.
We LOVE eating together! I’ve been subscribed to their monthly service since February ☺️
I so truly enjoy watching you. You're adorable, funny and so very personable.
In Ohio we just started seeing the all dressed chips last year. They are a huge hit around here.
The clip of you chopping the onions might be my favorite clip 😆 it made my laugh every single time!!
Yes, I agree
Love that you shared them! Great ideas!
Those are some great ideas for freezer meals! Quick & easy....Right up my alley! Thanks!😊
Hi! Try to look for "Mr. Yoshida's" sweet teriyaki sauce. Ive seen it at Costco also. Its great and you can add fresh seasoning to it to call it YOUR homemade sauce 😉
It’s sooo good
My favorite teriyaki sauce!
Ohhh! Yes!!! This is true!! Yoshidas is so so good!!
I love how she has so much fun in these videos.
I love how much fun you are having cooking and making the video!! Epic!
The crazy onion lady shot you added... omg.. @16:18
I SOOO needed that laugh!! Surgery #4 in a few weeks and I thank you IMMENSELY for making this disabled Veteran laugh. Xoxo
Prayers and blessings to you❤️
Great editing! A joy to watch!!
Thanks so much!
Also i “chop” my onions in my food processor. I don’t like the texture so this gets them a bit smaller and it’s so fast
Love my small chopper and the larger food processor! 🌞
Trying to get motivation by watching frugal fit mom..
I absolutely love your presentation, your wit and your enthusiasm! Draws people to you and your videos.
