I will be flying out of Vegas on the 19th, this is because work called... ( I am a medic ) and I copy n pasted the policy about the bag into the description..
Danny after our last back and forth comments about Spirit I thought that I was the only one who flew them. Nice to have you to suffer along with me. I also have points that I have to use so I hope to get out to Vegas sometime fairly soon. Only about 3 hours from where I am (MSP). Have fun ... looking forward to some videos.
good for u... for very short trips where you dont have any obligations, sprirt aint half bad... especially when u buy at the airport counter where it is even cheaper...
All newer planes are designed to be lighter for both fuel economy and in order to cram more passengers in steerage. The supports are made of lightweight metals and the seats themselves have less padding. As one who is buttocks-challenged, on fights longer than two hours, I now fly with a seat cushion as well as a neck rest.
I've heard horror stories about Spirit. That crap made me want to avoid that airline like the plague. Alaska Air, JetBlue, or Southwest are my go-tos for my long distance travel needs.
That's nuts! Is that how Spirit marketed those seats (your drawing)? Its the perfect name for those seats! Sometimes redeeming points is not worth it!!! Medical bag...good tip. Lol
I will be leaving on September 3rd with Spirit to Vegas because it was cheap, also I did not pay for carry on baggage but will risk taking a tote bag with few clothes. Last September, I used Spirit coming back to Newark from Vegas and endured a 5 hour flight. I only use Spirit because flight is extremely cheap so I try not to think of the comfort but saving a few hundred dollars. Also, thank you for the tip on bringing items for my bag being a medical bag.
dont risk it... they getting very cheap lately.. buy spirit flights at the airport counter to save even more, and instead of the tote bag, make yourself a container vest and stuff all your clothes and your tote in the vest, make it pass the gate, get to your seat, put your vest with clothes into the tote bag and put the tote oi the overhead bin.. and remember, the medical bag can only have medical things in it..
We fly Spirit if the price is right. We have the carry on bag that fits their specs and can go under the seat. But we usually are able to put it in the overhead compartment. I take a small purse with medical stuff in it. That way I don't have to shove the purse into the small carry on. I wish I could send you a photo of our carry ons.
I flew with Spirit Airlines many years ago and it was one of the worst decisions I've ever made. It was from California to Las Vegas. When the plane was about to land, the plane was rocking from side to side due to turbulence. Please use Southwest 🙏 to avoid all the hassle.
Hey Danny, I only flew Spirit once years ago Myrtle Beach SC to Atlantic City - because of rare 4 inch snowfall in Atlantic City they diverted to Newark and held us on the runway 4 hours waiting for possible departure back to Atlantic City - No food or drink and plane reeked of jet fuel as the engines idled - there was no gate for them to pull up to and deplane - The flight attendants were cracking jokes to the passengers about not having any food or drink on board. The flight never did return to A/C because Newark snowed in and after another 2 hours more we got a gate and deplaned. I rented a 4wd from Avis and drove back to A/C. The attitude toward the passengers convinced me to never fly Spirit again. 😒😒
@@dannythemedic Nothing - not even some peanuts and the restrooms became unavailable as well - maybe why they did not want anyone drinking anything - lol
where were you eating at 2 in the morning? Ok danny is medic but can average person put some sudafed claritin d bandages n 95 covid masks in that big carry on call it medical bag & check it for free?
I had said in the video, I had points that was gonna expire... which I guess can mean cheap because the flight was basically free.. thanks for watching!
@@dannythemedic So you had points on Virgin Airlines most likely because you had previously flown on Virgin Airlines. Otherwise in your video you would have mentioned that you had gotten a free ticket on SPIRIT via other means. So I guess I am right unless you wish to clarify how you got your free airfare on SPIRIT. BTW how often do you fly SPIRIT?
thanks for watching John... I flew virgin just a couple of times, hated that purple, so i dont.. i got the spirit points from their credit card promo, i dont usually fly spirit for ny to lv, thats just too far... too much suffering... i do consider it for 2-3 hour flights like to new orleans and etc... again, thanks for watching and any more questions please put a fresh comment, replies to comments are hard to find due to youtube software

Half assed!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Nobody is as funny & witty as ‘Danny the Medic’…A true Natural!!!
I flew Spirit recently and had a good experience. The seat was also of regular size.
amazing! I think spirit is great for children and ppl of small size, i am 5'10 200lbs... i suffer my ass off.. literally !!!
Great advice, for reason you mentioned I have never flew Spirit. Pay a little more and you get more. Vegas in December.
Nice to see you back in town Danny..
Wish I was in town. But I’m looking forward to some reviews these next 10 days.

No more Gordon Ramsey restaurants this time around please
My wife's Corolla is like that. Drove to Fla. & 6 hrs. in, my legs were killing me. I was crying for my mother.
I will pray
Welcome back to Vegas. Try a new restaurant in Chinatown called Hells Chicken. It’s a franchise famous for spicy fried chicken.
Hey Danny like to watch your videos and your sense of humor. Would enjoy meeting you sometime

The seat doesn't even go back at all I experienced everything you said this crap is crazy!!!
horrid!
Your videos are hilarious.
Thank You for telling me!! I heard Spirit is not the best Airline to travel 🧳 by plane ✈️
them and frontier... my gawd the suffering!

They didnt even have cup noodles for sale?

Longest 1 hour flight I ever took.
Southwest says bags fly free NOT TRUE they charged my mother in law to get on the plane✈
oooooooo im tellllllingggghh
My dad is travveling 5 hours from philly to vegas
that sounds like a plane ride
Honestly I’ve flew on spirit to Vegas and I think it’s pretty good for the price and I’m going again just tomorrow. funny comment on the seat lol.
Spirit is one of the worst airlines to travel on. Glad you won't be flying with them again.
Quality matters 😂🍿🍸
Your diagram has my dying Danny 😂
I’ll be flying LAS to Chicago in October. No way would I fly Spirit or Frontier. The total price difference is minimal🤑
Wished I was there 😎🎉✌
The hand-drawn diagram is appreciated: illustrative, yet poignant. 🤔
fly delta can't go wrong 👌
Spirit is so bad, the passengers have to elect a pilot before the plane takes off. Horrible airline.
I used to not mind spirt in the past, but now with their half ass seats, I just cant, I refuse...
Nest time you start to fly Spirit... dont do it!!
where were you eating at 2 in the morning? Ok danny is medic but can average person put some sudafed claritin d bandages n 95 covid masks in that big carry on call it medical bag & check it for free?
they have no idea i am dannythemedic, its their policy, you can see it on their website too
Will Mr. Danny leave NYC when he retires as a Paramedic? I hope he has a nice pension from the Military, Law Enforcement, and EMT.
I don’t think I will ever retire
Mr. Danny knows what is best for Mr. Danny the Medic.
Hopefully you won’t be flying back on this airline
ohhhhh no wayyyyyy... im going jet blue... yet I heard of merger!
Jet Blue bought Spirit so things will get better. 🤔 Meh??!!
we shall see
u get what u pay for
Spirit=Jetblue now.
I dread to see what happens
Spirit CEO is a crook
They don’t care customers!
Hit and run ! His money in pockets then want to sell to Jet blues
So you flew SPIRIT because of the cheap airfare, right??
