I just got the same exhaust kit and I’m wondering do I need a new ecu? Because the dealer is telling me I need a vortex ecu but I’m thinking they just want my money

The bike sounds and seems to run fine without the ECU but if you want to receive the full benefits of the pipe you will need the fuel mapping upgrade

After having installed everything complete, do you not need any changes to the ECU mapping? Is the delivery of the engine okay without any other interventions? Thank you

After the install the bike seemed to sound and run fine but if you want to take it vantage of the performance benefits you’ll have to have your ECM tuned👍

There is one that will fit the 450 L but you will need a fuel tuner to run it

Why didn't you put on a new exhaust gasket I knew you weren't going to put one on that's why I watched the video decouse I just bought that full exhaust system For $900 and no gasket came with it now it will probably take 2 months to get that to come in also!!!!

I can’t remember is that a copper gasket or does it seem like a few different layers of metal squished together

I had the same problem with one not available so I just reused the stock one if it is copper check for leaks once the system is installed by placing your hand close to where the header is connected to the bike and revving the throttle a little bit if you feel air movement then you might need to replace the gasket if it is the other type of gasket it should be fine
