I used to play the guitar accompaniment to this song for a singer friend who is from Toronto. She was in the same class at school as Kelly, the daughter that Joni Mitchell gave up for adoption (and who was later given the name Kilauren Gibb), and who is the subject of 'Little Green'. The two of them were friends at school, so the song had a special meaning for my friend, and we always included it in her set. Your rendition is beautiful, enchanting and as heartbreaking as the original, Chiara. I wish you every success, in music and in your life. ❤
