I stumbled on to Jack Pearson after I moved to Nashville more than 10 years ago. I have seen him play dozens of time since then mostly in small Nashville clubs. Jack is an astounding guitar player and a genuinely nice guy. He stopped playing locally when Covid hit, I surely miss seeing and hearing him play. Jack please come back to performing, you are missed!
Jack Pearson is the most underrated guitarist alive. He is also an amazing vocalist. Just an amazing pro on stage. Tommy is is quintessential guitar player’s guitar player. I used to go to Winfield KS every year when Tommy was playing there. Such an amazing experience to see this man perform live. Just incredible.
One of those videos where you either play until your fingers bleed or you sell all your gear. Emmanuel has inspired me so many times and now I've discovered Pearson as well. Thanks for uploading.
Great song! I'm confused about the D chord. It's almost like they are playing in D minor but sometimes I hear D major through voice of Jack. (The original is in D major but I like that dark sound) Can someone help me to understand how to get it? I gues I can left off those major-minor signal notes. In the riff that Jack plays I hear that minor sound for sure, but singing gives me major feeling sometimes.
Some people are just angry. Don't look at those as a downvotes, look at them as a sign of their frustration with the shallowness and emptiness of their lives. They're looking for a way to have power..to feel good, but they'll never find it.

Is there anyone more enthusiastic than Tommy?! I don't think so!
Wow Jack's voice.....Pitch perfect and shivers. He sounds amazing.
Tommy's playing, chugging rhythm interspersed with solos, turns this cover into something special. Jack Pearson is an icon too.
Two old pros doing what they do and making look so easy!
I keep singing this all day long.

Jack P can sing his ass off ....didn't know this !

Two of my favorite guitarists. I do prefer the Gm-C-D turnaround though.

Get off my lawn
@@EatAPeach72 maybe one day when your folks die you will own a lawn ..
This is why competition is so much better, Tommy would not typically play this well.
Sounds likeJack played a little more fret with Tommy cause he knows Tommy likes fret noise.
what tuning are they using please
Open D.
Jack is actually in drop D tuning and Tommy is in standard tuning
@@CLEMIATHON when you say drop D do you mean DADGBE? I always get confused over the terms! Thanks
@@NotMarkKnopfler Yes sir just drop your low E.
