A Day at Culzean Castle

A Day at Culzean Castle(S3x32) is a 4couple dance devised by June Inwood (a former Box Hill SCD Teacher)
Here it is danced at the Midwinter Twilight Social held by Box Hill Scottish Country Dancers on Saturday 27th July 2024 in Burwood, Melbourne Australia.
The Musicians for the Evening were: David South (accordion), Duncan Smith (piano) Matthew Robinson & Philip Healey (fiddles).
The dance Instructions are:
*A DAY AT CULZEAN CASTLE (S4x32) 4C set June Inwood, Dookie Bookie
1- 8 1s+2s, also 3s+4s dance rights and lefts.
9-16 2s and 3s dance R hands across and L hands back.
17-24 1s dance a figure of 8 round 2s crossing down to begin, while 3s dance similarly around 4s
25-32 1s lead down the middle for 2 steps, lead up for 2 steps, then cast off to 4th place on own sides. (2s, 3s & 4s step up on bars 31 &32)
