- 2 years of building from scratch, Going into the details and specs on every part of the build, why I built the truck and the parts from the various company’s that make the 85 Crawler what it is today. Possible changes that will be happening, ALL THE DETAILS!
I’m absolutely in love with this build. It’s absolutely gorgeous
Thank you 🙏
I love the 4l80.Strong, and the OD never hurts!
@@bigross0318 I’m glad I went with it. I can run down the highway 70 mph at 180rpm’s engines not screaming!
Probably the most beautiful square body I've ever seen. Your solution for the spare tire is great.
@@nickbreakseverything thank you! I’m glad I stuck with the two tone blue, it pops on the trail against the rocks!
Iv been trying to find a way to keep my paps old square going without really changing the look but I see now what to do ❤❤❤. I’m gonna build my son a wheeling rig out of it. Thanks for the vision
@@ashleyconnelley1856 they are great trucks. Pretty cool that it has a family connection, that will be an awesome project for you and your son to do together. Looking forwards to doing the same type of project with my son when he’s older.
Thanks for sharing my man
Killer rig man
@@BushmanofYukon appreciate it bud!
That is my dream square body. GREAT job!!
@@matthewsullivan1615 I take that as a huge compliment, thank you 🙏 it’s been a long term project but I love it more and more as I take it out wheelin.
Great video. Awesome build.
Thank you, I’m really enjoying the truck!
Sick rig and nice build
@@GrandmaRob thank you! 🙏
Great truck! It has everything I ever wanted to do to mine.
Hope you get to do UA in the future!
@@waynelambert9230 thank you Wayne, it’s working better than I imagined. I definitely got my application in this year again, UA is a dream trip of mine!
@@85CrawlerJust keep applying and you’ll make it.
You’re so much more prepared than I was for my first UA. We were welding light tabs and installing shocks the morning of check in day.
@@waynelambert9230 I remember watching your green Chevy flat bed on UA, it did well! I love that body style as well. Not as prevalent around my neck of the woods though. Either way you made it, props to you man!
Very cool!!
@@danielalamo2075 thank you 🙏
Nice, she's a beaut! Dig the OE grill and color.
@@GiletheCarGuy thanks man, it’s been heavily modified. but I really wanted the grill/headlights and fullsize of the original truck to stay intact…at least on the cab!
Great stuff Caleb thanks for
The walk around even though I pretty much know everything about your build from watching all your videos lol. I’m getting close to having my truck ready to hit some hardcore trails. When’s the Colorado trip dropping? that trip looked sick on your instagram.
@@KC-7mm thanks man, I’m really loving the truck. I just got back Saturday and I’m going to start working on the Colorado videos this week, it should be pretty rad!
Awesome!!!!
@@PeteyWheatie thanks 🙏
Bad Ass truck! Can’t wait for the Colorado videos. Are you gonna do anything with Dave’s F250 that you bought?
@@nurzyboyone8826 they are coming! I definitely have some plans on Louis Viten, gathering a few essentials for it as we speak
Sweet truck.
Raise Hell, Praise Dale.
@@TawDrago I think Dale would be proud! Thank you! 🙏

@@85Crawler It could be in your garbage can. Check it out.😂
mostly ford guy here ... your rig is outstanding!!! i always say....if you dont appreciate a square body .. you need your man card revoked.
bad ass.....all around...love the dod delete Escalade engine as well....
we have a terminator x running a escalade 5.3 in a 350Z....i agree...money well spent.
@@bobbywalter5320 thank you, can’t deny a square body pickup! They are iconic. I’m glad I went with the 6.2 paired with the terminator set up…reliable and infinitely adjustable. I bet your 350Z is rowdy with a 5.3!
Hey boss what size of wheels and tires are those
@@Eatcrap85 in the video it has Dirty Life 17 inch bead locks with 40 inch pro comp MT2’s…but I also run the 20 inch dirty life bead locks with the 42 nitto trail grapplers…by far my favorite!
@@85Crawler straight up Crawler nice 👍
@@Eatcrap85 yes sir!
Why did you use ford shit in a Chevy???
@@charlescox6608 couple of reasons, the 05 and up super duty axle’s are thicker and wider in comparison to the king pin 60 that came in the Chevy pickups from this era. Also running the super duty 60 gave me the option to run Reid Knuckles so I could squeeze the 1550 u joints on my axle shafts…I know my driving style is heavy on the right foot so I need all the help/strength I can get. The Magnum box from off-road design is a bolt up option on a ford np205…which has the big 90mm bearing already in it. The Chevy np205 has to be drilled and tapped and machined to fit the 90mm bearing. So it saved me a lot of build time as well.. going with the super duty 60.
simple. that particular part is superior. simply a ford spec DANA product. the proper question is ....why is it not available in a GM....
@@bobbywalter5320 yes sir
😎🤑
@@monette44 yes it has taken quite a bit of 💰 💵 to get it to this point! I don’t regret it at all!
@@85Crawler Thanks for the walk around! Love it! so much work!!! Blood, sweat and tears. Can't wait to see what you do with Louis V10 too. Cheers
@@monette44 yes it is, don’t worry I’ve got some things coming up for Louis Viten!
