I will splurge once I reach a goal of mine as a reward in the next 2-3 months. As for the Schminke Horadam I will purchase the half pan set, which has all 40 Colors but is less expansive and then buy tubes to refill as I use them up.
Oh I know, I never intended to get both of these things at once, it was purely that I could see they had substantial savings on both of them, so it made sense to try to get them with a good discount. It's been a lean month in order to pay for them!🤦🏻♀️ I never really thought about buying the pans instead, I suppose that does make sense, oh well!😉❤️👍

You have some amazing supplies there! Enjoy. I am jealous of all the painting stuff, including the CD Aquarelle. I have the Jenoviya book. Mine was a downsizing give-away from Colour with Claire. She had coloured 3/4 of a picture on camera with Luminance pencils so I finished it off with my set. The paper is excellent. I should get it out and do more. I feel it needs watercolour in it and so far I've chickened out and only used pencils. I need to try paints because some of the clothes need to be transparent in places. Have fun with that awesome haul.

@@wendyscolouring Wendy, what I have since found out is that the printed lines on the paper rub off with an eraser! I didn't expect that. I was experimenting with a background and needed to erase some areas. The ink comes off. So not sure what might happen with water medium.

I have some pastel pencils that I haven’t used yet i got them to use in the fine detail where the pan pastel tool is too big. The shminke watercolors are beautiful! You got some wonderful colors. I just recently got the shire set - the 5 set and they are my first shminke watercolors. Shminke is a little more expensive here in the US, i got mine abroad where they were a little cheaper. Anyway enjoy all the amazing stuff
Hiya Maia, I didn't get any Stabilo, jacksons had put my Holbein pencils in a Stabilo box. I have the Faber Castell pastel pencils, they are very good if you want detailed Pastel work, as you can sharpen them. I find the feel of the chalky pastels, make my skin crawl a bit, so I don't use them often, plus I don't have pan pastels, as they just seem so pricey, and I just don't think I'd use them. I think K uses pastel a bit, so she might be a better ask. The Schmike are beautiful aren't they, they are cheap here either really, I only buy them if I see an offer, as normally the price can be too much for me, dread to think what you are paying over there!🤦🏻♀️ Thanks Maia, x ❤️🫶🏻💗

How in the world 🌎 do you look up foreign books since we obviously don't have the foreign keyboard to type the book names in a search box to look up. I tried Book Depository, but it said there was 333 pages of coloring books to look through. There was no way that was going to happen. Lol.
Thanks Nancy, Randomly searching for interesting books, on Book depository was one of my favourite past times!🤣 It wasn't the easiest site to search was it, I started to think they did it on purpose. I generally searched for colouring books, but then in the filters set it for Korean language, or Japanese, etc and then it would bring up most of the the books they had in stock in that language. You still would get lots of pages of colouring books, but generally they were more towards the front. Sadly with Book depository closed, finding them is now much harder, and more expensive. Hi Janet, actually the Macroons came in a week, I was quite surprised, and they were packed really well in inflatable packaging, I was really pleased. Ali is normally 2-3 weeks for me normally though, so I don't know if I was just lucky this time. The seller I've linked I would recommend though, I was very impressed. 👍
