This guy is such a gem for 6k followers gotta love the quality of his videos
😍Thank you! It makes learning new editing tricks worth all the effort! I really appreciate it!
@@IndoorEcosystem Amazing work really, really enjoy able and Inspirational
This was a really fun project! I'm looking forward to showing you part 2 soon ☺
I’ve been waiting to see something like this done since forever, would love to see more people go crazy with dioramas and creative builds that still don’t lose the beauty of aquascaping 😍
I meant also terra-scaping, for that matter lol. But show me an underwater scifi space station that lights up, I’d die happy :D
@@artandgrow9240 I sense that this was a subtle hint 😅Maybe I can incorporate some stuff from my "Glass Iwagumi" video that was a similar style.
I know exactly what you mean! It's tricky to find a sweat spot and balance that isn't too over the top! I think you will appreciate the final product as well when it's finished. I'm looking forward to what you think of it.
Those modules are so kewl. I bet the crabs are going to love them. Thank you for the great video.
They are super cool! As soon as I spotted them I had to see how the crabs woudl use them! The hardest part was picking a layout for them there was so many good configurations! Cheers for taking the time to drop a comment ☺
Not gonna lie - I'm obsessed with sci-fi and fantasy - I love this
This has been a really fun build. I'm still waiting for it to grow in though as moss is quite slow 👀
@@IndoorEcosystem damn moss
@@givetanks But it looks so good 😅
This gives me mad Halo vibes! I love it!
The Forerunners 👀
cool idea, and honestly really cool production on the intro
Thank you! I had to learn quite a few editing things to pull that off!
Very fun videography! I'm building my first riparium style tank, so definitely fun to get ideas for how to film and eventually edit everything
Thank you ☺I find editing almost as much fun as creating the actual project! The hardest part is always finding music to match your idea and that's usually where I start.
It’s fun to play with money 💰. Looks great
Thanks 🙂It's all super budget except for the lava rock... That was 40% of the build price. But at least it's something you can use over and over.
Also you adding cinematic flair to the video made it an enjoyable watching experience. Kudos to you. 😃
Thank you! I wasn't sure if I over did it 🤣 But I learnt a fair few things!
@@IndoorEcosystem You sure did. It looks amazing. I can't wait to see how this turns out and also to see how the new Kevins like it. 😁
@@Cow_JuiceIt's coming along really, really nicely so far! I haven't decided which one of the new species is going in this one yet though.
@@IndoorEcosystem That is awesome to hear. Smooth sailing ahead.
And whatever species you decide on, I trust in your judgment. 😁
@@Cow_Juice That's because all Vampire Crabs are amazing! 😉
This was so cool, the beginning was like a movie! With the shape of the modules, this build reminds me a little bit of the bio dome area in a sci-fi called Silent Running, good movie even though it's super old. Really awesome, I'm looking forward to part 2! 🙂👍
Thanks Tara ☺! I had to look up the movie but I remember watching it as kid way back! I might have to track it down and see how it holds up!
It's a really good project, I'm looking forward to the continuation.
Thank you! Part 2 brings everything together nicely! I think you'll enjoy it.
It’s incredible I’m waiting for reef update
I'm working on episode 2 at the moment 😉 Reef stuff is super slow! Especially waiting and testing for the cycle to finish fully. It's been really interesting so far though.
@@IndoorEcosystem nice if u need any advice I can help
@@DiegoRaroAlemanTovaroide Thank you! I'll certainly take you up on that offer at some stage! Especially if I pivot into some trickier things
Bravo, great edit, gonna be a fun setup
Cheers! ☺This is proving to be a super interesting project! Waiting for everything to grow in and cycle is tough though 😅
@@IndoorEcosystem I am about to rebuild my Crab-i-cube its a few years old now and is looking tired, always fun to start over
@@PetsNPonds I expect to see a build video! 😁
I am awaiting episode two!!!😳😳😳
I hope I can keep the hype going!
Hi! How do you keep humidity in the tank? Also, what kind of moss do you recommend? I have to buy moss because of where I live. Also, what gravel do you recommend for the water side? Sorry for all the questions lol
No problem :) hypnum moss seems to be the easiest to grow healthy from my experience. Any small grained gravel works best just avoid bigger grained stuff that more like pebbles. It's not the end of the world but they seem to prefer small stuff. Humidity is kept high with a lid, heat mat and light. You need a lid that covers the entire top with some ventilation holes. Without a lid they'll escape pretty fast.
Super nice 👍
Thanks! ☺
What is the ideal tank size for these little guys? I bought 10 gallon but it seems small. I’m thinking of getting a 36. Is that overkill? Or does that sound good? Thank yu
10 - 15 gallon is my favourite size to work in and a really good size if you're new. I'd start with 3 crabs as well the perfect number.
I have a tank size guide on my channel you might find interesting.
I love it. I can't wait for part 2
Me too! 😁Waiting for everything to grow is always the hardest part!
incredible video… i ever seen in utube❤
😊❤️ Thank you! Much appreciated!
I love this!! How do you prevent mold on your land sections? My palus are always getting moldy despite adding isopods and springtails
Mould cycles are pretty hard to avoid entirely, sometimes I have tiny flareups but they only last a few days before the springtails smash them.
You can also let some more airflow in when it starts to get mouldy as well that will usually slow it down or kill it off but ultimately it's just about time the longer a tank runs the less mould issues you'll have.
my dream is to find home, and someday I want to build home for crabs in it. 🥰
I hope your dream comes true! ☺ I hope the crabs will be happy in their fancy new home when i add them!
@@IndoorEcosystem 🙏 hope so! will be happy to see the next video!
This awesome god damn!
Thanks man! This was a pretty fun edit and the hardscape with the modules came up super good! Now the hardest part of all is waiting for nature to do its thing and prepare the terrain for the next phase of life!
Again I absolutely love your video ideas pretty cool too 👌 where are you from out of curiosity?
Thank you ☺I'm from Australia but currently living in Poland.
Do you need a filter for a small tank with these guys?
A filter is handy if you're new but you can go without if you set it up correctly and keep up with your weekly water changes.
when i 1st saw this video i was concern about the moduelm is the surface of the moduel is rough enough for the crabs to climb on to?
but on the 2nd thought, it doesn't matters, because it won't replace there burrows, so it won''t hurt the crabs
so now i'm just wondering which kind of vempier crab is going in to this tank, i saw many new species vempire crab that have been newly introduced to hobby so can't wait to see
The surface is quite smooth. I would say similar to a well worn stone in a river bed. They are very efficient climbers will have no problems moving in and around this things.
They will use them like they used the little crab cribs I suspect mostly for cover when moving around the tank. Places to shelter while they explore and eat and hunt. To get them to hide in them as homes I would have to put a layer or soil in the base. Then they would be more likely to use them as proper homes. But I'm really curious how the interact.
@@IndoorEcosystem well they will ues it as there home if it fits there needs,
If it's dark and cozy the will like it.
It seems like they like small space more then big space. They like small space which can fit there body whith littel geps.
so i think they will ues them as a tunnel so they can move in the dark, and not as home.
I think for there home, they will just dig some durrows XD
@@craby6449 Yep exactly! I will experiment with filling some with soil at some stage. Just lightly pushed in and not compact. I think they will dig them out to make homes.
Bonjour, est ce que un chauffage de 25W peut chauffer mon paludarium de 60x30x30 cm à 25 degrés sachant qu’il fait 18 degrés Celsius dans la pièce
Hello, an Aquatic heater or a heat mat? What do you prefer? But usually both can. Just differently
What are you going to add in part 2 ? 🧐
I covered it all in the video 😉 right near the very end.
First 😁
UNBELIEVABLE 😂🤣
@@IndoorEcosystem That would be the adjective to describe this sci-fi build.
So unbelievably great. 😁
