And yes i know that they all died from fights as no one died with all limbs. Lovely animals 🥰
That sucks a lot! But that is a really, really good example of how random some males can be sometimes! I have had a lot of fairly peaceful tanks set up without much fighting but I have had one where one crab was just an absolute nutcase! There's certainly an element of luck involved with this! Hopefully that female drops some babies for you to make up for all the chaos!
@@IndoorEcosystem I hope so too kind of as i do not.really see the female living long enough for that too happen nor do i see the babies living well trough this or i'll have to put the male away from the tank as i have only one what makes it all even worse for me, as i put all my hopes in them and now i dont have space for new ones, or anyhting else i was Thing to put geckos or frogs in there too but i am unsure if they would again Just Hurt eachother again
@@IndoorEcosystem It's for sure a good first experience with paludariumes 😂 Kinda sad on the side as really all the plants at this point are thriving climbing for the lid to get more light i got some.of the biggest plants i have in there including a huge monstera, bromeliads a rather tall Sarracenia pitcher plant and a growing nephentis pitcher plant with a lot of thriwing little plants mosses and water plants, shrimp and snails that exploded in Numbers springtails isopods all in my first paludarium/vivarium but the crabs didn't want to be a part of it 🥲
@@gianoverchill5266 I would wait it out. With all that space and such a low population I think you might be ok. Unless the female got a bit too beat up already.
@@gianoverchill5266 got any tips for the pitcher plants? I'm going to experiment with some soon but am having mixed ideas on where to start and what species to try.

way too small entrapment for these beautiful animals, should be at least 4 times bigger
Bigger is always better but it is how you design their habit that makes all the difference. I highly suggest you check out the other 100 videos on my channel and get back to me :)
If you want to help this cause though, you can jump on some of the horrendous selling practices coming out of South East Asia. I have a video on it somewhere here.
